Making a fool of myself with all of these vices !

Citali was a blissfully ignorant pup, her parents did a good job covering up what was going on. Aunt Pixie was on vacation, Dion went to live in a meadow, Cicero was okay, he was just a little tired.

These were the lies they told the little girl, and of course she believed them, her momma and poppa would never lie to her... ever!

Maybe if the pup had just been a little more educated on the dangers of this, she would have given it a second thought, but in the middle of the night, on her way to get a drink of water, the night sky caught her eye.

Stars danced beautifully across a canvas of ocean blue, and Citlali was caught right in.

Her mothers little star child, a bright constellation sealing in that nickname.

The pup wandered outside into the courtyard, the night sky dazzling in her violet eyes. Thats when a shooting star flew across the sky, Citlali let out a tiny gasp, she wanted to dance in the sky too.

Another shooting star struck her, and thats when she began running, farther and farther, she was following the shooting stars, nothing else mattered to her.

The sound of someone leaving the room stirred the hound to open his eyes and he lifted his head up before stretching his jaws in a long yawn. He just wanted to sleep, but those worrisome parental instincts kicked up like an annoying itch that drove him from his cosy bed. On wobbly paws he stepped into the hallway and he began to follow along behind the scent of his daughter. At first nothing seemed out of the ordinary, not until her scent seemed to deviate outside. Wait... why was she going outside at this time of night?

With his focus on his daughter he hadn't actually noticed the shooting stars that she was chasing, but right now he was determined to catch up to her. He began to run, then sprint. If only he had gotten the chance to warm up first because this was sheer agony on his joints!

    "Citlali! Where are you going?"

He called out, hoping that she would stop in response to his voice.

    VERY VERY FRIGHTENING

  • *:・゚✧ the lion was not far beyond ignis, gently passing as it did not take that much for him to keep up, before he just jogged beside ignis, with a raised brow. "hold on, he'll catch up to her!" he picked up his pace to a gentle run, skidding to a halt and gently moving to step in front of the pup, hoping to stop her. had he done so, he'd turn to the young father before looking down at the pup with a tired smile. "citi, you gotta be careful. its not too safe out here. cicero doesn't want anything to happen to you." he wasnt really saying that anything would but he couldn't put it past these clans. they were unpredictable, even those with temporary alliances. sometimes he wondered why he even tried to be nice to anyone that wasn't in the exiles. it wasn't as if they were nice to him. "here, come on. cicero wants to show you something cool."

And just like that her dream-like experience was over and she was shot back down to reality as Cicero and her dad caught up to her.

She looked up to Cicero, her gaze now dimmed back to its normal state. "Nothing can be cooler than the stars Cicero she insisted with a squeak. Looking to her dad she gave a little wag of her tail, "they were dancing, I wanted to as well she explained, as if it all made sense. Why were they stopping her? It was her ultimate dream!

She turned to Cicero again, while what he was going to show her was no way ever ever gonna be as cool as the sky she decided to let him show her anyways, with one last longing look upwards she waited for Cicero to gesture in the right direction.
