  • leigh must of not remembered any of it. draco seemed to tilt his head, humming with curiosity, before blinking. a lot of bottled up anger. that sounded just like leigh, so it was rather suprising to see that he hadn't exactly remembered writing any of this. it just seemed like the supposed god. "well, you being angry isn't new." he muttered, grabbing the bottle that was slid towards him, and starting to drink it, only pausing because leigh spoke up again. make himself useful? tch. he was lucky that draco was bored out of his mind. it wasn't even that big of a deal, though. he would have to go back home.. after this bottle of course. he couldn't stay here, even if leigh decided to insist upon it. he had to go home. "right.. uh." he stood up and made his way to the book shelf, pulling out most every book and just flipping through them. he wasn't reading them, but just trying to find those maps, because the sooner this could be done... the sooner his life could go back to normal, right? whatever the hell that was, now. "th-this the one?" he asked turning slightly, holding up a book which seemed to have maps sticking out. "I hope this is the one." he took a few more drinks from the bottle, until it was nearing gone, before mentally telling himself that he had enough to drink. he didn't need anymore. he was fine. he was good.

  • looking at the book draco had grabbed, leigh took it from him, his fingers twitching and running along the cover. it was getting to be a bit overwhelming to be reading all these words and not being able to remember why, when, or what the context was. opening the book, leigh watched some of the papers that were sticking out fall on to the table below. flipping the papers open, leigh's eyes narrowed. they were all about the dragon valley. diagrams and drawings, maps of the whole country it was in. leigh had noted every detail in these maps, circling things and marking them with an 'x'. looking into the book, leigh felt his chest tightening. this book.. it seemed like it was the book in which leigh really began to lose his mind. drawings of demonic creatures, the stuff of nightmares. there were drawings of leigh, himself, as well, being murdered in various ways. disemboweling, burned, crushed, stabbed, shot... towards the halfway point of the book, the drawings stopped and the pages filled with words, instead. "don't forget", "boreal", "traitor", "find him". over and over and over. "don't forget" was the most prominent one, and the closer the book got to the end, the more it appeared, until it was the only phrase filling the pages. he was obviously desperate. and he obviously had good reason to be desperate, since leigh had, in fact, forgotten. glancing back at the map (specifically of the country), leigh shut the book he was holding. it was too much. "wollseifen, germany." "that's where this so-called dragon valley was. that's where boreal was. that's where both draco, and leigh, would get answer. "it's not exactly a short hop away. and as much as i would like to walk there, we'd need money to buy plane tickets or something. and time. lots of time."

  • the boy watched for a moment, as he lifted his hand up to rub his eyes with a slight exhaustion. the day hasn't even been over yet, and yet he was so tired. it likely had to do with the fact he didn't sleep well. and when he did.. well it's because he was so drunk that his body just gave out. maybe that's why he drank so damn much, but it wasn't as if he was going to acknowledge that. he wasn't even of legal age to drink. "germany? damn." he muttered with a twitch of his eye. he was not in any position to go to germany.. but maybe he would just have to make a deal with the devil. "how much time are we talking?" he rubbed the top of his head, trying to look for some comfort. "I can get the money but... I need to know how much time. my dad isn't exactly gonna be too... keen on just letting me go out of the country without a reason." he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "of course this isn't just easy. I'd literally rather be drowned in a lake than convince that man to give me enough money for this." he groaned, before he just sighed deeply. "guck.. I'm too damn drunk to think about this. I gotta go.. think about something to say to my dad. been nice... or whatever."

  • leigh shook his head, folding the maps back up and rubbing his temples. "at least a month. maybe more, depending on how it goes when we're over there. money isn't an issue. i don't know if you can tell or not by the size of this fucking mansion i live in, but my parents had a lot of money, which i inherited when they died. all i have to do is go to the bank and withdraw it. shouldn't take too terribly much, i have almost two million sitting around." it was true. his parents had been incredibly wealthy, and leigh was in their will (he made sure of that) so when they 'disappeared', they were assumed dead and leigh got their fortune. their life insurance was amazing as well. leigh didn't act like a spoiled rich kid because, well, he wasn't. he had been both dirt poor, and fabulously wealthy. he'd had ten times more money than he had now. money meant nothing to him. he threw it around without care. if he ever ran out of money, well, he could always just resort to stealing and lying. "yeah... i'm gonna keep reading. you need me to walk your drunk ass home, or are you fine?"

    // screams bc goddammit it's so short ;-;

  • "n-no.. i'm not that drunk.. I can.. I can walk myself. i'll see you later.. I guess." he wasn't really used to leigh being nice to him, but he couldn't say he was very mad about it. honestly, he'd of let leigh be rude to him forever, just for a few moments a day of him being nice. it was kind of, no really ridiculous. he knew that. but it wasn't like he could really help himself. leigh was oddly enchanting, in an eerie way that sort of said stay away... which somehow only made the attraction stronger. he hated to admit it, though, and he likely wouldn't. not for a while. as he walked out of the house, and stumbled down the streets and eventually pushed open his front door, his yellow gaze moved over to his father who was sitting on the chair, in waiting. he didn't even stop to hear what the man had to say. he was talking, but draco was not listening. he clumsily made his way up his stairs, and slammed the door shut, plopping down on his bed, and falling asleep rather quickly.

    --

the next morning, draco found himself pushing up off of his bed, wincing as the sun peaked through his blinds, groaning quietly at the throbbing headache he had. damn.. he really did drink a lot last night? he gently rubbed the same cheek that leigh had hit, before blinking a few times as memories of the night before flooded back. shit. right. he had to find an excuse to be able to go to germany. "h-hey.. lily?" he tapped on the wall that separated his own room, and the room of his twin sister. "hey, draco. damn, how much did you drink? you smell like rum and vodka." lily said as she stepped in the door, that was also in the wall. it was weird, like a hotel, but they didn't seem to mind. "oh, seriously? ick, I need a shower... but I also have to.. kind of go to germany with a.... friend." he rubbed his head for a moment as lily tilted her head. "a friend? is this the friend you keep hanging out with all the time.. the one you talk about in your sleep?" she seemed to giggle. "what's his name.. leigh right? god, how many times have yall been together? you literally talk about him all the time." draco's face immediately became flush, as he gasped. "I do what?! oh my god." he seemed mortified, as lily just laughed again. "oh, relax. you must really really be into him. haven't heard you sleep talk like that since your ex." she grinned mischievously, though she knew how bad his ex had broken draco's heart. "oh i-i'm not into him! I-I mean i am.. I really am, b-but he can never know that so j-just please don't say anything, okay?" he begged for a moment before straightening himself up. "besides, not what I'm asking."

he scratched his head for a moment, before his face seemed to light back up. "I was wondering.. maybe you could help me formulate a plan to convince dad to let us go to germany. like.. a school trip our something while he is on his business trip to wherever." he nodded his head for a moment. "yeah.. yeah I know leigh has a lot of money, but we could ask him for some for this trip.. and of course you'd have to go too or he'd never believe me." there was a hint of bitterness in his tone, and lily knew exactly why. "right.. well germany sounds fun! uh.. why are we going, and not just you and your friend?" she asked curiously. "well.. I just thought you'd want to get outta this house. plus, you know what I've always said.. twins for life. I'd never just leave you by yourself." he grinned happily as the girl just laughed slightly. "okay, fine! I'll convince him.. but when are we leaving?" she asked, as draco just shrugged. "it depends. we don't have to worry about dad asking. he leaves in a few.. hours right? god what time is it?" he turned towards the clock with a small nod. "yeah. few hours. so if we convince him now, he'll be way too busy to ask questions. thanks so much, lils. I gotta take a shower.. last thing I need is to smell like booze." and with a quick hug to his sister, the boy turned away and got into the shower.

after he was finished, and lily had convinced their father, draco waited for him to leave on his trip, before he grabbed his own backpack, and headed to leigh's house. he wasn't sure why he wanted to see leigh, anyways, but he couldn't shake the feeling. it was like a parasite was whispering in his ear and it would not leave him alone. as he knocked on the door, the dragon boy turned his head up toward the sky, with a small hum and a tilt of his head, gently humming the melody of an unknown song, while he wanted for leigh to open the door. he wasn't sure how leigh would react to him just.. showing up, but leigh didn't exactly make it easy to get in contact with him, now did he?

  • what else should i say? what else could i do?

CW for a bit of gore! \\

frantic, scared blue eyes darted around, trying to find an escape route. the rope was tied so tightly around his bare wrists and legs that it gouged into his skin and drew blood. there was cloth stuffed in his mouth, with duct tape wrapped around his skull tight enough to cut off some circulation to his jaw, with some blood dripping from his mouth. he was crying, sobbing, with tears and snot running down his face. the gentle clattering of metal tools made him struggled in his chair, muffled screaming piercing the air. his voice was obviously about gone -- he had been trying to scream so loud for so long. "you know? i've been thinking. i don't like the way you look at him. i don't like the way any of you look at him. but you especially. you look at him like you have a chance. like you can swoop in and steal him away from me. but you can't, can you? he's not gonna want someone with no tongue and no dick! who would?" leigh glanced over at the bleeding man, an overwhelmingly psychotic look in his eyes. he had snapped during the night; visions and memories brought back by his reading had driven him into a manic and murderous rage. sometimes, leigh acted so well put together that it was difficult to remember that he was, by all definitions of the word, crazy.

stepping over to the man, leigh raised his arm up. his flesh, muscles, and bones snapped and ripped, fusing together into a new shape altogether. that of a serrated, jagged blade. it was a grotesque sight, especially when you realized that the only thing that made leigh's 'blade' sharp were bone fragments and shards sticking through his skin. he placed the makeshift weapon to the man's throat, grinning widely. a wild, animialistic look sparkled in his eyes at the sheer fear and terror that the other man radiated. this is what he lived for. this was the only thing that brought him joy in his life. this--

a knock on his door seemed to make him snap out of it. glancing towards the door, leigh blinked slowly -- his smile and wide-eyed gaze had dropped, leaving him looking bored and annoyed. who the hell was here? looking back at his victim, leigh scoffed. his arm returned to normal and he grabbed the back of the chair, as well as the tools, dragging them both to a very well sealed door. pushing the door to the basement open, leigh tossed the tools down there, then landed a solid kick to the man's chest, sending him down the stairs as well. there were grunts and screams of pain, then a sickening crack, and then silence. ah. well. it seemed he had landed on his head and snapped his neck. oh well. he'd take care of the man's corpse later. heading to the front door and tugging it open, leigh blinked in slight surprise. draco...

well. this was certainly unexpected. a sly, cocky smile plastered itself across his lips and he pushed the door open further, signaling to draco that he could come inside. not a speck of the man's blood was evident on the floor, but... with draco's senses being heightened, leigh couldn't help but wonder if he had heard anything, or smelled the blood. "well good morning, sexy~ you know, i was actually just thinking about you." the man chuckled, wandering in to his kitchen to grab some snacks. "what brings you here this early? early morning sex? you wanna get drunk? you're already drunk? are you ready to leave? or do you just miss me? can't get enough of me?" why draco was infatuated with leigh was a complete mystery. the god's attitude alone was enough to make anyone want to strangle him. taking a bite from a doughnut he grabbed out of the box he had bought earlier this morning, leigh hummed. "i already bought tickets. three. something told me i needed three instead of two, but if you think for a second i'm going to allow another man to come with us, you're laughably wrong. first class! best of the best. each ticket cost me damn five grand. how do you plan to pay that back, baby? i can think of a few ways~"

maybe i am just too much for you

  • the boy's head seemed to perk up at the sound of yelling, and a deafening crack, which caused him to flinch back slightly. his hand placed itself on his head, trying to find some type of comfort from it. he really hoped that it was a tv. though the scent of blood made his stomach twist. he didn't know what he expected from the boy. he was just generally creepy and unhinged by all sense of the word. seriously, like the first time they met, leigh had a hard on just because draco decided to attack a teacher. he still felt bad about that. usually he was so kind, but that day was not a good one, just like most everyday following. as the god opened the door, his yellow eyes seemed to swivel up to the crimson pools, his eyes softening unusually, despite the other's sly words and speaking about how he wanted to just know why draco was here. draco didn't know either. "as much as I would love to be drunk off my ass... that's not why I'm here. sex, either."

he made his way inside, rubbing his temples with a slight groan. "ugh.." the smell of blood was almost overwhelming, but more than anything his head was hurting. must of been from the hangover, or just because this headache wouldn't leave him. "three tickets? that's good." he closed his eyes for a moment, before his body perked up, a small huh falling off his tongue. "what?! who the hell would I even bring to germany? the other ticket is for my twin sister, lilian." he huffed, crossing his arms. "that's what I came over here for... I... i think." he huffed as he pulled his hood down for a moment, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "payment? ugh of course you wouldn't just do this to help a friend. you're really gonna make me do something? fine." he rolled his eyes, though there was somewhat of a softness in his eyes, as if he didn't mind. "what is that you want? a blowjob or something?" his head was hurting way too much to think about anything really. "or maybe you want me to make you some breakfast. you don't look like you've eaten." his eyes seemed to narrow as he tried to make himself more tart. "you trying to starve yourself?"

  • what else should i say? what else could i do?

"we can talk about payment later, baby~ though that does sound pretty nice right now." the god hummed. leigh's chewing of his doughnut slowed down as draco commented that he looked like he hadn't eaten. glancing at the sugary treat in his hand, leigh took another bite. he was eating! sure, the doughnut held next to no nutritional value and he might as well be eating straight sugar, but... it was something, right? that question, however, made leigh think. how often did he actually eat; and not just gross junk food snacks. meals. cooked and prepared. leigh was quite a wonderful cook -- he actually excelled in baked goods and pastries -- but... you really wouldn't ever be able to tell. he normally didn't care. he would snack if he was hungry and eat gross garbage until he wasn't hungry anymore, or until he was bored. an actual meal? huh. it had been quite a long time, actually. probably a few years. polishing the doughnut off and stuffing it in to his mouth, leigh shrugged. "i'm not gonna starve, if that's what you're asking. you can make yourself breakfast if you want! i'll fuck you while you cook~" the male chuckled before standing up and cracking his back. "but if you're here to go, then let's go. i don't have anything i care to pack so i'm ready when you two are."

maybe i am just too much for you

  • draco blinked slowly, before just sighing slightly. "eating junk food all day isn't really eating. it's a wonder you have any energy at all." he rubbed his head slightly, before his brow raised up. "...I'm going to make you breakfast, and you are going to eat it." he demanded as he turned to walk towards the kitchen, looking in the fridge and stuff. not much here.. but enough for a meal for them both, though as of late draco's appetite was insatiable. he hated it, to be honest, but at least he wasn't gaining wait from eating and drinking so much. "we can fuck after I cook.. and then we can get lily and leave. and please," he paused what he was going to turn around, his eyes narrowing almost threateningly, though he had stopped trying to intimidate the god a long time ago. "don't leave so many marks in visible places... you're lucky I'm even agreeing to this." was it leigh that was lucky, or was draco just really looking forward to it himself? probably draco. he didn't know why. he meant, shit, leigh's life would probably go on just fine without draco in it, and despite draco's increasing habit of having to fuck other guys to try and calm down his libido, which honestly wasn't working, he would be really fucked up without the boy. despite him a complete asshole, and wanting nothing more than his body, he couldn't help it. even lily knew more about his feelings than he cared to. maybe that's why he was so willing to sleep around.

  • what else should i say? what else could i do?

licking his lips, leigh hummed softly. he knew there was damn near nothing in the fridge. some eggs and bacon milk, he also had some bread and bagels and cream cheese. that was... pretty much it though. biting on his tongue as draco started cooking, leigh placed his much taller body behind the smaller male's, slipping his arms around the younger's waist and into his shirt. "mmm~ yeah? because of just your dad, or did it make other people jealous? that was kind of the point, sexy~" the male chuckled, before backing up and off of the other. if they were going to fuck after they ate, then leigh could be patient. he watched draco make the food, his head tilting. kinda flavorless... shaking his head, leigh reached up into his spoce cabinet, seasoning all the foods and putting some bread in the toaster. despite not really being hungry, he had toadmit... this was smelling damn good now. putting all the spices back, leigh grabbed about half of the food, putting some butter on his toast. he made a little sandwich, placing cream cheese, bacon, and the eggs on his toast, biting in to it with a grin. he had some weird taste buds and enjoyed eating everything at once. even though his seasoning game was on point; he didn't have patience to eat everything separately. "are you excited? i'm excited. you think we could fuck in the plane's bathroom too?"

maybe i am just too much for you

  • "why would you of all people want to make people jealous?" his brow raised up, with a small hum of interest. it was interesting to say the least to think that leigh wanted people to be jealous of him being covered with bites and markings. his body seemed to shiver at the feel of the other's hands over him, before he just clicked his tongue with somewhat of displeasure as leigh stepped away. he just let a small laugh out, as the other began spicing up the food. good for him, knowing how to season things... considering he didn't seem to cook at all. he moved to sit on the counter, grabbing a piece of bacon, before rubbing his head. "it's also really unprofessional. I know I got weird colored hair, but add bite marks, scratches, and hickeys... not a very good look, is it? unless you're into that." he knew leigh was, and gods was he, too, but that was besides his point. he ate another piece of bacon in his mouth, a small gasp a grimace on his face. "oh, no.. no way! no fucking way!" fear was evident in his voice as he frantically shook his head. "I know I don't admit shit like that but I'm way afraid of airplanes as it is. no fucking way I'm getting up and going into that death trap's bathroom."

  • what else should i say? what else could i do?

blinking at draco's refusal and fear, leigh finished his food. his stomach, admittedly, did feel better, but he wouldn't tell draco that. no way in hell. the other hated airplanes? did he hate airplanes, or did he hate flying? he figured it was both. leaning against the counter, leigh chuckled to himself. "hate airplanes? why? they fly!" yeah, no fucking shit. folding his arms over his chest, leigh looked at his shoes. he really should get new ones soon. they'd have to go to some malls in germany. it couldn't be all work over there, right? what good was work with no play? a soft, very tender smile graced his eyes and lips without him realizing it. "i love flying... when i had my wings, i'd be out all day flying... my wings..." the man trailed off, his smile falling and a harsh glare setting in his eyes as he looked at his shoes. "well, regardless if you hate flying or not, you better get used to it real fast, because it's a long ass trip and we gotta take it two ways. are you ready to go?" the male, again, had seemed to become a completely different person; one filled with fond sadness and memories. with kindness and love. however, leigh didn't seem to notice or realize, because he flashed a sharp toothed grin at draco. "hey... how about we help you fear by fucking? huh? you can't think about being in an airplane if i'm fucking you so good you don't even remember your name!"

maybe i am just too much for you

  • that's all he had to say? that airplanes flew? well, obviously they fucking flew, and that was the problem! he had always been afraid of heights, and being in a metal death trap ten thousand feet about the ground did not make it any better! "of course they fly, and that's the issue! I may suddenly be a dragon now, but I've never actually been a dragon, and I sure as shit ain't flying nowhere!" he exclaimed, before gasping softly, looking at leigh who was, once again, completely someone else. this wasn't leigh. this wasn't leigh. it only lasted for a moment, but that voice would forever he echoing in his head. what in the world was going on with that? why did that even happen? he was going to speak up, before leigh's voice returned back to normal, and he was being an ass again. he was... kind of sad but then again, he was pretty relieved that he was back to normal. he would have to eventually, seriously, talk to him about that. it was really weird, especially since leigh had not a single clue that it was happening. "right.. well.. I gotta call lily and make sure she's all packed but I think we are ready." he scratched his shoulder, before a frown fixed itself on his face. "god, can you stop being horny for one second!?" he pushed his hand to his face with a small groan, before he moved to lean into leigh's personal space. "you'd better do better than that. I'm not kidding. I don't want to feel my legs, leigh." he whispered, before pulling back and hoping off the counter, and stretching his body. "let's head to my house and get lily, yeah?"

  • what else should i say? what else could i do?

stop being horny? yeah fucking right. leigh not being horny or angry was a leigh that no one wanted to be around. no one wanted to be around a sad or numb leigh. him being sad was... ugh. first of all embarrassing and second of all obnoxious. he hadn't been sad in front of someone for... well, ever really. he didn't show sadness in front of anyone. it was weak. he'd rather pretend he was angry and annoyed all the time than be sad around someone. though, when he was alone, he was usually very sad. very sad and numb. "stop being horny? why? i can smell your sex drive from a mile away, baby. someone's gotta help you out with that, and i'd prefer if it was me." the man chuckled, before shrugging and grinning. do better? of course. leigh hated to disappoint. and, besides, he wanted draco to remember him if he ever fucked someone else. he wanted to go above and beyond for him so that no one else ever lived up. he wanted to fuck draco so good every time, that nobody else could satisfy him. the god simply just began following draco, linking his fingers behind his head. "challenge accepted~"

maybe i am just too much for you

  • the trip was long and exhausting, and quite frankly, despite the terrors of being in an airplane for so long, draco couldn't think very straight. his head hurt sad bad, and he almost felt... feral. off. everytime he heard his sister talk, it was like she wasn't saying anything. when he would look up to try and see what she was saying, it became silent, and he could only see her lips moving. leigh was always blabbering on, and though they managed to hook up a few times during the trip, it didn't matter. draco felt like crap. "ugh." as he pushed open the door to the hotel room, he almost immediately made his way to the bed, covering his head with a pillow. it was still light outside, and yet he couldn't think of anything he wanted to do more, than to close his eyes and get some rest. unfortunately for him, though, his headache was too strong. he was going to be sick. pulling himself out of the bed, he found himself in the bathroom, throwing up anything he had dared to ingest as of late, before he just groaned with frustation. "this fucking sucks! i came here for fucking answers but instead I feel like I got hit by a damn truck!" he snapped, as lily pushed her way in the bathroom, gently rubbing her shoulder with a small, yet worrisome, smile on her face.

"maybe you are just... I mean.. you did say that leigh said you are a dragon. maybe being this close to the dragon king is messing with you." she suggested, though she hadn't any idea just how right she was. "it doesn't make it suck any less." he grumbled, wiping his mouth and flushing the toilet, before just leaning against the sink. "you don't look too well, yourself, lils. are you okay?" he knew his head hurt, and that he felt pretty weak, but he cared about his sister more than anyone in his world. he had to be sure she was okay. "me? oh, yeah. d. I'm just a little dizzy.. probably altitude sickness or something. heh, I'll be fine. you should probably go check on leigh, yeah?" she laughed, though it was clear she was lying. there was something up with her too, she just didn't dare to admit it. he pulled himself up, giving her a quick hug before going back to sit on the bed, looking over at leigh. "you doing alright? you aren't tired? I know you spent a lot of your time tryna.. distract me from my fears but you gotta be tired. you should get some rest." he suggested to the god, turning to his bag, and grabbing some painkillers, and taking them. "I can read that map and plan how this is gonna go.. whether we do it tonight or tomorrow I don't care.. I'm just ready to be normal again." though as he said the words, there was this odd feeling in his chest. he couldn't shake the idea that no matter what happened, he would be stuck like this forever, and that lily wasn't explaining what was happening to her for the same reason he had very oddly colored hair. he could only hope she didn't have to deal with the same thing he was... that would really fucking suck.

  • what else should i say? what else could i do?

the entire plane ride -- apart form their moments in the bathroom -- leigh's face had been glued to the window. he watched the clouds and ground fly by beneath them, an ache in his heart. maybe he should say he hated flying. start pretending like he despised flying. maybe then, watching them be so high in the sky wouldn't make his stomach turn and twist with a sad, lonely pain. he really did miss his wings. he missed his original form, honestly. his long, flowing hair, even taller and more muscular body, his tattoos which he always made red to match his eyes, his wings... he missed that. despite not knowing what he was before, or where he came from or what he was the god of, leigh knew what he was supposed to look like. it was a slap in the face to him, to be stuck in a from that looked so puny and weak. this form was puny and weak, too, it didn't just look like it. it sucked, honestly.

when they got to the hotel room, the first thing leigh did was claim one of the bed as his own. there were only two, so he was looking forward to holding draco in his arms for the duration of their stay. he knew draco would probably fight that, though, but leigh would just drag him to bed and cuddle the hell out of him until he fell asleep and couldn't move away anymore. that sounded nice. his eyes glanced at the maps, taking in every detail. he hadn't slept a wink in... oof. a very long time now, actually. since him and draco hooked up the very first time, nearly a month ago. had it been a month? he wasn't sure. it felt like it, so he was just going to say it had been a month. rolling the inside of his cheek between his sharp teeth, leigh glanced up when draco began talkin to him, an emotionless gaze on his face. lily was exhibiting the same aura and scent that draco had, but she had shot leigh a look that had said "don't say anything, please?" so leigh hadn't said anything. it was easy to tell though. blinking a few times, leigh scoffed, looking back at the map. even if he looked like he could use some sleep, it was probably just because he was bored. reading maps was fun and all, but he wanted to go cause chaos and eat junk food. "i don't need sleep. i'm just bored, which is why i look so tired. last time i slept was the first time we hooked up. i want food though. i already know where we're going, you don't need to read it. it's a few day hike, though, so we need to get camping supplies and shit for that." leigh glanced at the map, then back at draco. "you look like garbage, by the way."

maybe i am just too much for you

  • draco stared blankly as leigh spoke. he had to admit, he felt like leigh was talking in slow motion. he rubbed his head, closing his eyes to better listen, nodding quietly. "r-right.." he wasn't really listening, but he heard him, if that made sense. "wait.. wait what? you haven't slept in a month?! what the hell, dude!" he exclaimed, his entire body perking up with confusion. damn, draco was going to have to help leigh get better control of that, wasn't he? the boy couldn't just.. not sleep. like, shit, if you didn't sleep all day, what the fuck did you do? draco rubbed his head slightly, before sighing deeply. "I could eat. you got anything in mind?" he said, blinking slowly, before rolling his eyes dramatically as he fell back into the bed. "wow, you wanna tell me anymore more obvious, like how grass is green?" he grunted with frustation, grabbing a pillow from the bed, and beginning to hug it. he was feeling needy, that was for sure, but there was no way he was gonna tell leigh that, just so the god could make fun of him. "ugh, camping stuff? does that mean we gotta sleep outside? fuck. lovely. I hate tents. I hate sleeping bags. and I hate the woods. news flash, last time I stepped foot in a forest, I got attacked by a big ass dragon king for no reason. not really my scene."

  • what else should i say? what else could i do?

watching draco have to do a double take, leigh raised an eyebrow. he supposed it wasn't very obvious, leigh didn't just go around announcing that he hadn't slept for months on end. it was hard to fall asleep when he was by himself; his negative thoughts and anger issues were hard to keep quiet. it was hard to sleep when someone was with him, though, too. he had fallen asleep pretty easily with draco, though; but that could be because he was pretty drunk. not super smashed or anything, just very tipsy. either way, leigh shrugged and the insult draco threw his way, folding the map up and tucking it into his pocket. "what, did you think the king of dragons was going to live in a condo or something?" leigh stood up, grabbed the pillow from draco's arms, and threw it across the room. before the young dragon could even protest or agree, however, leigh picked the other up and held him, sitting back down on his own bed and just... holding draco. he knew neediness when he saw it, and honestly? he wasn't super in the mood to fuck. which was very rare. all the books and information he had crammed his brain with -- as well as being in a plane and being able to experience flying again after so long... it drained him. yes, he was tired. but sleep wouldn't fix that. "i want mexican food. or just something spicy. really spicy."

  • "i mean, would it kill him to? fuck. living in a condo don't seem too bad at all. I dont care how dragonic I get, I'm not living in the middle of no damn forest." he huffed, and he was going to protest about the pillow, but quickly he was being wrapped up in leigh's arms, which he hated to admit was really nice. leigh did a lot of things, and he did mean a lot of things, that got on draco's nerves but sometimes he didn't even care because little gestures like this were always so comforting. he could only hope it was helping leigh too, because it wasn't as if the boy hadn't caught on to leigh occasional sad or exhausted demeanor. not a sleep exhaustion, no, but something else. something that would only could be fixed by something that draco had not known about. he sighed quietly, as his eyes closed for a moment, before lifting his brow. "oh, don't worry about it, I've got it! spicy meal coming right up! be back!" lily called before she was out of the room, leaving draco and leigh by themselves. the boy looked back at leigh, feeling rather curious. he hadn't realized he was about to poke a sleeping bear. "are you alright? you haven't insulted me in days. not saying that I enjoy it I'm just saying its.. kind of who you are." ugh, it was annoying him that he even cared. after all, leigh didn't exactly make it easy to be liked. why draco liked him, was beyond him. if he was asked, he could say it was just because of the sex but as lily had said days earlier, this man was head over heels.

  • what else should i say? what else could i do?

leigh blinked a bit, watching lily leave the hotel room and staring at the closed door for a few seconds. the second she was gone, draco was speaking to him in quite a... concerned tone. asking if he was okay, pointing out the fact that leigh hadn't been overly rude or insulting or just generally obnoxious in the last few days. it was true that leigh was acting differently, but... he had a reason to. of course, he wasn't consciously aware of the reason, mind you. this close to the man who betrayed him all those billions and billions of years ago... even if leigh had no clue who boreal was or what he had done, the mere presence of the dragon king was enough to change his entire demeanor. he was tired. miserable. honestly, he just wanted to curl up and sleep -- but he couldn't. they had stuff to do. with leigh being the only one that didn't need sleep, he needed to get everything prepared. boreal would surely attack them -- especially leigh -- so he had to be prepared. he'd brought all of his books and everything he could find that pertained to the dragon king. with a small shrug of his shoulders, leigh stared absently at the wall in front of him. "i'm just annoyed that we flew here and that i can't fly on my own. you're lucky -- when you get your dragon form and your wings you'll have the option to fly wherever you want..." leigh shook his head and placed his chin on draco's head. "i don't know. oh, hey, i found a picture of what i used to look like, you wanna see it?" it was a blatant subject change, but leigh was clearly done giving bullshit excuses as to what was wrong.
