    Recently I have had an idea floating around my head, and I wanted to know what others thought about it and it that would like to be a part of it. It takes place in a mafia setting with is why i have the warning in place because of the topics that will be mentioned in this thread. This thread will be a bit different from the usual mafia threads. This thread is going to revolve around a group of teens who are from rival groups that start to build their own little family together. By rivals I mean that each mafia has three to four teens who are either a part of family or plucked off the street that are now tasked with carryng out tasks that the adults might not be able to do because they will be expecting the adults rather than a teen. The teens may specialize in one thing but they have been trained to do just about thing. Expect these teens are typically mistreated and constantly put in arms way because finding teens who are desperate for a life aren't hard to come by.


    Maybe there are some teens who enjoy they live life, while others want to escape from it. Either way in an unexpected turn of events these teens start to come together to make life easier. Sometimes the teen will offer their help when it comes to their job or even helping them patch up after a particular rough day. I was thinking that maybe they teens decided that they are either going to escape the mafia life together or they are going to take over the mafia together. Their is of course going to be a lot of drama and these kids are going to be put into situations that some may be uncomfortable with, so if you aren't comfortable with the mafia world then this thread may not be for you.


    I apologize if this is kind of not together, but I wanted to get it out there to see what others thought about it. Also if you're wondering if this is advanced or something, I would something say Semi-advanced to advanced. Not that I expect an essay when answering an interest check, but like this your warning now if you can write at least three or more good paragraphs you should be fine.

    Pride. i was wondering if youd be open to having this revolve around supernatural teens?? like the kids would be different types of supernatural species like vampires and demons etc etc

    Quick question, do you guys think we should get a few more people or shall we wait for some more. I know of two people who had not tracked the thread who may also be interested in this.

    i mean i personally think we should close the sign ups at one point so we dont have too many characters, especially since theyre just simply supposed to be a group of teens.i like the idea if we add some supernatural stuff to it, but im pretty content either way!

    my friend AMMIKAMI12 is interested and we're wondering when and where this will take place. maybe a couple different of regions depending on the mafia group? like big cities but also some sketchy looking outskirts and even some deserts?? i think it would be kinda challenging to do futuristic, so maybe set it for current time? (ngl my friend and i already have a good idea about what 1 or 2 of the mafia groups would be like)

    I agree with outcast, if it is meant to be a small group there shouldn't be too many characters. I personally find it easier to keep up with small groups.

    I think I'm going to close this now, since there are about ten of us now, and I think that will be good to start off with. I don't want to limit creativity but, the max amount for characters you can make is going to be two so I hope that is okay with you guys.


    The overall theme has not been decided because is wanted to wait until we had enough people showing interest to really get this ball moving. I know for sure that this will most likely be taking place in the modern era. I will probably put up a poll for people to vote whether or not they want to had a supernatural element to the thread once we have the general setting and mafia group out lay out. Meaning we know where and when this is taking place, and how many groups there in the thread.


    I am thinking that there are about four or five different mafia groups who each have two to three teens working for them. Let me know if you would like to do something else. I want the groups to be diverse, so not all the group's are rich and high-class but not all are in the sketchy areas either. I don't know how well a desert setting would work for this, I like the suggestion though. OutCast I also like the idea of having an ocean near by or something so I will be sure to keep that in mind. Jinpa I do want this to be kind of a group effort though, so I don't want you guys to be afraid about sharing your suggestions and ideas.


    Though one thing I would like is that these mafia setting really placed somehat close together, that way it is easier for the teens to see eachother and not go missing for days because they need to travel across the state, you know. I'm totally fine with like neighboring big cites and all that but nothing too far away.

    Let's say there is 20 characters; it would be 4 groups of five or 5 groups of four.


    Also for semi realistic mafias ( I assume this is where we are trying to go while keeping our own creativity) most mafias are a closed group of people having extortion and other criminal methods and behavioral code. For each group there would be a goal, a business and their set of rules, so to speak. For example, Group A doesn't trade with Group B, but maybe later Groups B and A call for a truce and work together temporarily to stomp on Group C. I guess this is more of a plot idea but what I tried to explain was each group needs something that they are known for from a business perspective. Whether its smuggling and dealing cocaine or acting as hired protection. Maybe they don't just have one thing they do, maybe they try to be the jack of all trades and are trying to dominate everything, but the other 3 or r groups are their competitors and in their way. Maybe they want to rule the city.


    I like the idea of only a few teens working for each group. There should not be too many in one group. I am down for supernatural, powers, maybe it's just an everyday convenience for the world. I can also do without the powers.


    Mafia ideas, note some of these are moreso specializations:

    A Cartelian branch

    A science mafia (informations, ground breaking and secret work)

    A family type mafia

    A realtor, housing market mafia

    Valuables mafia

    Animal market, dog breeding and training mafia

    Immigrant mafia (smuggling immigrants in, maybe their ways of smuggling people aren't so nice to the people trying to get into the city)

    Hitman mafia


    With a supernatural aspect this list can extend but I will wait for the verdict in that
