Casandra-Brando Akari has a love-hate relationship with Akashi. She is definitely excited to finally be around a middle blocker that is her height, rather than towering above her like all of the middle blockers seem to do. She gets a tad worried when she plays because of her history of dislocating her middle and ring finger, she always subtly asks her how her hand feels after or during any games. If she feels like Akari is not taking care of her hands and bruises properly she won't hesitate to tell her to take a break. Akari will help her tutor the others because she takes a few AP classes herself and she cares a lot about how her grades look and such. She is really glad to have some else around that cares about school. Now here comes the part that Akashi sometimes gets on her nerves. Akari doesn't like that way Akashi tries to get into the heads of the other team, now Akari knows she can be aggressive but she wouldn't try and make the other team doubt themselves. Akari has to try and avoid snapping at her for doing that.
caprisun. Akari thinks that Frankie is cute in the most older sister way possible, seeing as though she is only interested in girls. Her dark sense of humor does manage to draw chuckles out of her whenever he makes jokes about himself, but she is also worried that he may have something going on that he us not really talking about. Of wise she is throughly entertained by his sarcastic sense of humor. Akari does think that he is a bit much at times with the way he will bend over backwards for any girl he has a crush on at the moment, and with the way he doesn't now how to stop talking when he stops talking to avoid getting himself into trouble. She does want to teach him how to be a proper wing spiker since she has some experience with that position. She hopes that one day that Frankie will learn to not be such a pushover and makes friends with the team.
yio Akari is lowkey annoyed that DJ is taller than her even though she is two years younger than her, but she doesn't really mind that she runs around looking angry all the time and wearing only black like she stepped out of a gothic vampire movie. She doesn't really find her intimidating or anything like that, but she does find her rather frustrating at times. DJ's lack of care or attention to her grades and school work is rather frustrating to her, especially since she is the type to put a lot of effort into her work. Plus, she knows what will happen if DJ continues to go down the path of trying to avoiding participating in school. She just hopes that she cares about volleyball, because even with raw power without practice she won't be able to play to her full potential. She hopes with them both being middle blockers that maybe they can become aquantinces and then she can rub off some good habits onto DJ.
ephemeral. Akari knows Louisa for a multitude of reasons, she knows her from the fact that nearly everyone takes about how popular she is on social media, and she knows her has the girl who is good at volleyball and a bit of a rich girl attitude. She can relate to Louisa when the team doesn't always put their best foot forward and only puts in minimal effort, especially since she has been playing a long time herself. She is curious about how she learned because she has heard rumors of her mom being a pretty well known volleyball player herself, but she doesn't want to pry her for information until they are more close. She is very happy to have another person on the team to that cares about school and actually makes an effort to do well in school. Though she still gets a little irritated when Louisa gets openly upset with the team because Akari feels like that they should be guiding those who don't know how to play, not yell at them.
Luciole_Ephemere Akari was really intimidated by Winnie when she first meet the team's second manager because he is super tall and she is a literal midget compared to him. Especially with way he can get really serious and hone his focus on some thing, she was worried that she may be wouldn't get along with Winnie. It didn't take long for her to find out that Winnie is far from being an intimidating and scary person, in fact he is quite the opposite and he makes it his goal to support the team and he has become such a support line for anyone who needs it. Akari really admires that about Winnie, that he doesn't care who you are if you need his support he will give it. Akari hopes that one day he will find the one who will give him the endless support that he gives to everyone else. She wouldn't hesitate of throw hands for this sunshine that helps keep the team functioning.
Arthur Morgan Akari in her head calls Z the genderbent version of DJ because it is almost scary how similar these two are. Sure, Z is a brunette and DJ is a six foot tall blonde, she still thinks these two are basically the same person almost. Z runs around with the same all black look and has that same gothic vampire look to him. Not to mention much like the blonde he is not doing so great in school and he doesn't seem to be making an effort to change it either. Not to mention she has heard about how bad his procrastination can get, which doesn't help his situation either. Akari can see that he not a bad guy though. He cares a lot about his twin brother and would do anything to protect him. Akari also admires how he doesn't flaunt his riches about like a douche.
Z's is shorter because his form is a bit shorter
Arthur Morgan Akari is convinced that Indie bleeds sunshine and not blood like normal human beings, because he is just to darn sweet not to. She can see how people form rumors about him because how he presents himself with his name brands and showering people with expensive gifts. Expect any one with brain can tell that he has such a good soul, and personally she thinks that if you want to say otherwise she will spike her fist into your face without hesitation. Akari can also tell that he used to play volleyball, and that he was good at it has well. It is not hard to tell from the way that he talks about the sport and how he is built, only someone who played the sport with passion would be able to talk about it that way really. She is curious if he is taking any AP classes, because she thinks he really should with his history of getting straight A's. She would understand if he doesn't want to.
ephemeral. Akari really likes Otto because he helps take care of the team's grades up, and even though she personally doesn't really need help all that much since does her job of keeping her stuff together since she is an AP student. She really likes the way he has colored coded notes and such. She can tell that he functions on like two hours of sleep at this point, and honestly she lowkey can relate to that because you know the AP student life is hard. Akari doesn't really mind that he has got a bit of resting b*tch face going on because his personality, to her at least, doesn't match that like intimidating energy that he puts off. She loves his dark sense of humor because she can share her jokes without him looking at her weird. She is totally open to helping him tutor the mess that is the volleyball team whenever he needs and helping hand. Akari is a bit worried that he is not properly taking care of himself though when he is busy taking care of everyone else.
