  • //please wait for TK-037 !

    Man, who knew how big the world could be? The sky went on as far as he could see and farther, and there weren't any walls or fences or Tweedle Dees and Dums standing all menacingly at the end of every hallway. Because there weren't hallways. Obviously. Look, he wasn't stupid: Agrelos was a planet, and -at least in their tiny eyes- it was pretty huge, so naturally there was more to it than a courtyard and a cement building, but he never got to see what "more" was save for a few stolen peeps at a time. Nothing he ever saw prepared him for all this freedom. He was flying higher than a dude blazing it.

    Sometimes literally. He had wings, and now he could really, actually use them.

    "Whoa, TK! You seeing what I'm seeing?" He flew up a little higher to hover over TK's head, taking it between his paws and unnecessarily -actually, totally necessarily- turning to aim him at the mansion. "That's wicked cool. Let's check it out!" Without waiting for an answer, he dove down and landed in a somersault, springing out of it with an enthusiastic whoop and blurring from place to place in a thrilled flurry.

    INFORMATION

  • K-D is...difficult to contain, even at the best of times. His attitude left no room for argument even before they had eloped from their testing grounds, leaving a smoldering hole where there had once been a wall and many creatures panicking behind them. It had been much safer in their facility; he can't say he had minded it there. The only reason he followed was because K-D had demanded so. Perhaps it would be more rational to monitor his movements out here anyway. The boy...never stops moving. TK-037's head turns gratingly, making it clear that he has no interest in looking at whatever he's been directed towards β€” a building, "Fascinating," he drones flatly, though he follows K-D's descent pattern.

    With far less erraticism, naturally. The hybrid lands and does not move again, brilliant red gaze chasing his blur without any emotion. "We are dangerously close to trespassing. That is socially improper and violates local laws. Please cease movement and wait to be greeted." Like a normal person, his blank tone tacks on.

  • " β€” It seemed odd to go on a border patrol after everything, especially by himself. He surveyed the land, too- it was hard to believe that this was now his. He understood he stood on the shoulders of giants, of course, and it felt like there was so much pressure weighing down on him, but this was his group now, his motley crew. As odd and strange as they all seemed, he had to lead them to the best of his ability.

    The Godfather heard two voices, and curiously, he walked over, analyzing the two. They're bickering, he thought to himself idly, letting a grin form on his maw. They were funny to listen to; there was a noted contrast between the two and he enjoyed it. "Hey, what's up?" He'd greet, looking at the more proper one. "Look at you. If everyone else in the world had your attitude, maybe we wouldn't be fighting all the time," He joked, waiting for their response.

    // welcome to the cartel! ^^

  • ✘ Having been watching the two flying around their territory for a minute or two, Battery's head jolted in surprised as they landed. Running over, he went to see what was happening.

    "Nothing is wrong with a little debate, Godfather. Besides, he's right, you two were close to trespassing. What are you doing here?" Batterychicken teased, his maw splitting open into a grin. He was mostly back to his old self, having recovered from the shock caused by Breakout's death. But if anyone was looking closely, they could see that the Lieutenant's smile wasn't quite reaching his eyes. Blinking, he added, "Do you two have names?"

  • Nyx can feel the edges of his mind slipping into a gentle slumber as he rests on a low-lying roof attached to the mansion, his eyes glazed over and lids threatening to close with each passing moment. His blue-violet gaze was often drawn to the skies and there wasn't often much to distract him from admiring the picturesque view of the blue expanse above. Other than the native avian population, no other creature occupied the space. Even if there were a handful of winged folk in The Cartel, majority of the time they all remained grounded. That is until Nyx spots something out of the ordinary. It wasn't everyday that the wingless Nyx saw a leather-clad boy soaring through the skies over The Cartel, his exclamations reaching the now fervent Cartellian who immediately bounds down from his perch.

    The savannah follows in hot pursuit of the two other, grounded, Cartellians, his gaze sweeping over the foreign pair's peculiar appearances. Seemingly normal enough, save for the larger fellow's apparent mismatched body parts, however it was the pair's apparent affinity for eyewear that took the boy's curiosity. There was only one other individual that Nyx could name off the top of his head that had a similar style and he was present. Somehow Nyx couldn't imagine that the two used their eyewear for quite the same reasons. Hopefully. "I gotta' agree with Bat, think I'd pass out from boredom if everyone else had the same... Uh, good manners." Nyx put his own two pennies' worth forth, remarking on the taller man's well behaved mannerisms. Too polite, way too polite - Nyx guessed he did say often that he admired those with a good sense of respect, but he also admired having a personality too. The younger of the two's peppier tone speaks much more to the Cartellian and Nyx would be lying if he didn't admit that he was mildly jealous of his shades and leather jacket. He turns his attention to the two winged foreigners with a cordial expression. "You guys got some sick shades and a cool jacket."

  • +β€” The Sinner +++ SIR PENTIOUS +++ The Inventor β€”+

    The basilisk slithered his way over and he eyed TK-037 in particular purely because of how he had spoken. At long last, someone with manners! Oh yes, he liked those who possessed some refined class and he could already imagine that they would get along, maybe even teach the other Cartelians how to address others properly. "Oh please let them be joiners!"

    "There isss nothing wrong with expressssing proper mannersss. It isss charming and a clear ssssign of refinement. And speaking of mannersss, I am Sir Pentiousss, it isss a pleasure to make your acquaintance. What bringsss you to our landsss?"

    The Capo would chime in as he reared himself up so he could get a better look at the pair, though also so he could offer a bow in polite greeting.

  • "Fascinating," he mocked under his breath, because hey, if TK got to throw some sass then so did he. Guy could use a few pointers, too. Or maybe the whole droning thing worked for him? If TK tried rolling his eyes he'd probably combust and blow up everybody within a ten mile radius, just- boom. No more Mr. Roboto.

    He tossed the hybrid a disbelieving look over his glasses, sliding them a bit down his nose. "What do you know about 'socially improper,' TK? 'Please cease movement,' man, get outta here with that." He threw a paw out dismissively, but he did restrain himself from teleporting around, even if it was incredibly reluctantly and with an impressively sullen pout. It didn't last very long because it looked like TK was right after all- incoming, dead ahead. Guy had two tails. Hadn't somebody else back at Home Sweet Home waved like, five around? They didn't uh, last very long though. Tails were pretty neat and all, but not what the big boys in white coats wanted.

    "Just chillin'. That your place back there?" Kade nodded his head to the mansion and then went back to glowering petulantly in TK's direction. "Don't tell him that, it'll go to his head and he'll repeat all those times he roughed up some strangers for 'criminal behavior.'" It really killed the vibe sometimes. Only sometimes, because Kade lent a hand every now and then. Or maybe every time.

    The slim wolf who trotted over called the two-tail dude Godfather. Whoa, what kind of name was that? "I thought your mansion looked neat." He feigned cool nonchalance, shrugging casually. If he smiled all the time, he wouldn't pull off the aura he wanted, yeah? Like untouchable and all that and a bag of chips. "Yeah, I bet you wanna know. I'm Kade, and protectron's TK. What's yours, b?"

    But at least he had two other people on his side, here. Seriously, agreeing with TK? Not good for the guy's health. He had a thing for being the sole, ignored voice of reason and Kade wasn't going to take it away from him. "See, you get it." Kade could tell the cat was checking out his sweet jacket, and he winked at him over the frame of his glasses before flying back in a loop-de-loop to sit on TK's head. He flared out the black collar with a paw, head held high. "Yeah, pretty fly, huh?"

    Before he could say anything else to him, there was some kinda...snake dude. A huge snake dude with one of those old hats. Guy was just wack in general. "Like I was saying, saw that cool mansion back there and wanted to check it out. You do tours or something?"

    //thank you!!

    INFORMATION

  • There were far too many approaching creatures for TK-037's comfort. The hybrid stares at each, searching for signs of aggression or violence. He finds none. At the moment, they all appear to be upstanding citizens. An impression unlikely to last, he gathers. Crimson eyes flick between each, taking in their strange shapes and postures as K-D takes control of the conversation. Even from the background of it all, the compliment to his manners nearly makes him preen. Some of the fur at the back of his neck fluffs up and settles down flatter than before, his posture tall. He looks at his companion: See? Charming.

    Yet not all of them were so charmed, and TK-037 ends up leveling Nyx with a look of silent judgement. Only Kade postpones his rebuke, settling on his head with that air of superiority. TK-037 allows a minor electrical current to rush through his fur, sparking yellow at the cat's paws. "Boredom does not take priority over the law; criminal behavior will not be tolerated." The charge lingers β€” he shakes out his fur and it puffs out comically, unsuited to his serious expression. "I am TK-037 and should be referred to as such. Please continue to direct all inquires towards K-D. I will correct him if necessary."

    / ty!! why is this bland potato so fun to write

  • ✘ Overwhelmed by all the talking, Battery just blinked dumbly, trying to make sense of all the words that were pouring out of the stranger's mouth. "'Protections'? Why do you need protection?" Battery asked first, tilting his head in confusion. It was an odd choice, especially when this TK guy seemed to be pretty intolerable and rather insufferable. "B?" Battery repeated dumbly, mouth parting in confusion. "My name is Batterychicken."

    "Tours? Have you taken too much of something?" Battery asked, utterly confused by the stranger's behaviour and requests. He as a bit taken aback, really. Jumping as the TK guy electrocuted his friend, seeing the sparks from his paw, Battery's eyes widened in alarm. "Criminal behaviour? If you don't like criminal behaviour, I think you're in the wrong place, my guy. This is the Cartel," Battery said, confusion fading enough to allow himself to chuckle in amusement. He pointedly ignored TK's request to direct further inquries to his friend, as hell, he wanted to know what this guy's deal was with following the 'law'.

    // I LOVE THEM AHH

  • He had a good vantage point from up here. Not prime real estate, but close enough for somebody whose last home was less a home than a containment facility. It would be nice to get someplace he could hang his jacket up, though; TK hadn't liked it the last time he draped it over his ears, which were the closest things Kade could find to a hanger. So what he couldn't see? Guy was like, freakily aware of everything. A butterfly could sneeze and he'd say bless you. "Protectron. Y'know, like a robot. And b's like...bro. Yeah." It wasn't bro, but he didn't know how to explain he'd called him bitch in a friendly, nice way.

    He patted TK's head and met Batterychicken's gaze, which- weird name, dude. Weird but kinda dope. "You're right, though- I don't need protecting. I'm a ma-ha-hAN!" Kade shot straight up into the air, fur spiked up and glasses askew, wings spread. He coasted down to the ground a moment later, still a little frazzled, which he set about fixing in between glares sent TK's way. "You wanna go, dirt bag?" He pulled a paw back and kicked him in the shin vehemently, huffing.

    "Anyway, whatcha mean? You a buncha baddies in here?"

    //aslkdfasd dont love them theyre awful

    INFORMATION

  • These two....er, joiners? Visitors? Well, as they hadn't joined yet they did seem to be more the latter then the former, but in any case, these two seemed to be, well, quite the duo. Surprisingly, one of them was actually a cat, and it did still bother her that her own species seemed to be rather rare around the Cartel, if not most of Agrelos. TK-037, if she heard him correctly, was more the kind of creature she expected to see, which was to say, some kind of hybrid she had never even seen before....Agrelos really was a strange place. His name was a little odd, consisting of letters and numbers, and apparently the other's name was Kade, and K-D was a nickname, a little strange but, well, many would say that her own name was odd, a remnant of her heritage, and of the rather long life she had lived.

    As far as a tour of the mansion went, well, Wavepool wasn't all too sure about that one, she supposed it would be up to Asimov in the end there, but she herself didn't mind the thought of giving these two a look around. Who knew, in the end, they might even end up joining, though if the 'criminal behavior' thing was an issue, the Cartel was a little bit of an...odd place for them to be visiting. "Um, w-well...not exactly?" the liquid coated maine coon replied as she padded over herself, stopping next to Battery and pausing for a moment as she debated just how to put this. "We're not really all that bad, especially when compared to the Ruins and the like, but we are merchants, and we do, uh....w-we do sell d-drugs..." She never did like the fact that they sold drugs herself, but she had grown a little...used to that fact, as of late, and besides, most of what they sold really wasn't all that bad...ok, ok so maybe some of it was....

    "Oh! S-Sorry, I never introduced myself, I'm Wavepool, it's a pleasure to meet you both!" she called out, dipping her head in greeting to the duo, taking a moment to glance back at Asimov before continuing. "Um, if you two st-still, you know, want a tour, despite that, then that'd be up to Asimov." She really did want to give them both the benefit of the doubt here, to give them a tour and let them decide for themselves whether or not they wanted to stay, but it wasn't up to her in the end, it was up to Asimov. Though, in the end, if they joined they'd be getting a tour of the peninsula and the mansion regardless

  • " β€” Asimov found the two highly amusing, and was glad to see some new faces around. He couldn't hide the grin as the two talked; Kade was fun, loud- a lot like him, while TK-037 (he had to think of some nickname) was really funny. At Kade's question, Asimov tilted his head. "Yeah, we're not bad. We don't hurt anyone unless it's in retaliation, really, and we're all just lookin' to make fat stacks," Very professional, mister Godfather. "We're a neutral group cause' we sell to almost everyone, and we don't discriminate with members, either, long as you've got an eye for business," He'd add.

    "I'm Asimov. Godfather, Boss, Don, whatever- I'm the leader here." It was odd to call himself that; he had always thought he'd be second-in-command for so long, but... things had changed, and as much as he wanted to be by Breakout's side, so desperately, he had to be there for this crew. "Yeah, I'm down for a tour. Entertain me, though," He added lightly.

    // want me to make a new thread for the tour? :0

  • In the middle of their conversation, the air around TK-037 seems to swallow him whole. One second he's there, tolerating Kade's kick with an empty-eyed judgement, and then poof! No more Mr. Roboto. It's fine. Kade is used to it. In his little dimension, kept all to himself, the hybrid has made his mind into a library. Stark white shelves carry carefully stored artifacts, and he neatly adds a strange, pretty rock he had found to his collection.

    06.01.20

    A strangely colored rock from The Cartel's border.

    The first official group visited with K-D.

    Then, just as quickly, he pops back into existence. He doesn't seem to have missed much, though there is another stranger here that Kade is no doubt in the process of charming as well. He listens to them as well as he can, but his mind quickly...stumbles, and then stutters. Crimson eyes narrow behind yellow lenses. "No," he intones blandly. It already takes every ounce of self-control to keep the sparks along his spine to a minimum. "We will not be staying. In the eyes of the law," (my programming, he means) "you are criminals. Your group must beβ€”" Kade does another loop above him, settling on his head with his paws over his visor. TK's frown is visible even if his eyes are not. He does not shake him off this time. "Fine. At K-D's direction, you may proceed." This was going to be a long tour.

    [ that would be awesome !! ]
