    A fallen school. That is what people thought of the Columbe volleyball team.


    Columbe High School's volleyball team was something to be reckoned with, once. A national contender, who won nearly every state championship, and seemed to just keep rising.


    Those days are long gone, now, ever since the old volleyball coach retired and that all-star team graduated a few years ago. The new coach has never played a game of volleyball in her life, and she's not going to learn now; She's more than happy to phone in each practice and give a consolation speech when the team loses each and every match.


    But these kids don't give up so easily--and this year, the volleyball team at Columbe might rise back to the top.

    NAME: Niana Grayson

    AGE: 16

    GENDER: female

    SEXUALITY: demisexual

    PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Niana is pretty tall for a 16 yr old. Of Filipino-British descent, this athletic teen prides herself on her abilities. Standing at 5'8, tan skin and honey brown eyes, Niana has a strong, good physique with long dark locks she often keeps tied up or in a messy bun. Definitely, she isn't the girl to be afraid of getting down and dirty, it even shows in her play style as the team captain, she'll follow the rules to a T of course. Although becoming a team captain suddenly in her junior year, after the last captain had to step down for family reasons, she felt quite stressed and sometimes inadequate. A role many wouldn't be given so easily, but she puts it on having such amazing team mates. Usually if not in her gym wear, the teen during class or out for a casual mall date with her friend often styles herself simple and black. Aside from a little eye makeup here and there, you'd never really catch her wearing anything other than sweats otherwise.

    TEAM POSITION: team captain/wing spiker

    HEADCANONS:

    — Somewhat headstrong, but she knows when and where, keeping her emotions in check.

    — Often forgets she's a junior, slacks in the academics at times, but when she focuses, she's pretty average. Definitely will be asking for help from her friends to study.

    — Food motivated, make her mad, she'll adore you again after being fed good food. Especially homemade stuff.

    — Loves aromatherapy stuff.

    — Future cat lady, Niana already has two cats named Chonks and Tate.

    — Will work hard at the game she's always loved since she was a kid.

    — Not very technologically adept. Forgets how to use a phone sometimes, all she knows is the basic, call, texting, and web browsing. Doesn't believe too much in social media apps, has them but only because of her older brother. Still uses an old iphone 6 her older brother handed down to her. She doesn't dare replace it.

    — Still struggling with her parents divorce, even if it was nearly two years ago. So she'll be a bit moody now and then

    — Loves her team dearly, even if a couple of members don't feel the same way.

    — Doesn't like to be called by her first name. 'Niana' feels too sweet for her. She has more of a reason, but she doesn't talk about it.

    — Still sad about her step-father passing away. She'd just gotten used to the whole blended family life.

    — Lives with her now widowed mother and her younger (9 year old) step-brother.

    — Secret softie, very much a hidden crybaby.

    — Very proud of the old beat up jeep she restored with her brother before he left. She drives around the gas guzzler and nicknamed it 'Gus'. Has a decal art she put on the back bumper saying, 'Grayson's Gus'. She knows its corny, but its a good car.

    PERSONAL PLOTS: loses a game and keeps the blame on herself, considers giving up being team captain.

    GROUP PLOTS: will wait for other plots to form before adding ideas.

    I changed Akashi to a Middle Blocker, if that's okay? ^·^ I noticed the og wing spikers wanted their positions back and there were only 4 spots for it! I hope changing to a middle blocker is okay with you? °*°
