Icefur glancd forward. She looked up and ran off. She looked up the tree she climbed before. She wanted to go back to the clan. She did not want a ShadowClan cat following her. So she ran more.

occ: Sorry it took me a while to reply my internet isn't working very well, I posted, but my post isn't there so I need to rewrite it...grrr...And Echomoon only recently joined ThunderClan, so don't worry about that. And, yes, she's a tabby.

ic: "Echomoon," She yowled loudly over the blizzard, luckily the wind was blowing towards the tom and it carried her name effectively to him, but unfortunately this meant the wind was also slowing her down, as was the snow. "What's your name?" She repeated the question to the tom, but didn't slow down to hear his answer, if anything she sped up slightly. A hollow began to loom into view and her instincts told her this was where the she-cat hid. It was an excellent hiding spot, because it was on a slight slope which the snow tubled down, this stopped it form piling over the entrance, but it also meant the hollow was completely open to the wind and was probably quite cold, therefore not the best place to give birth. It was still a few fox tails away but she could hear here adrenaline rushing in her ears.

  • OOC: It's cool, my internet's being glitch also. :P

Ashfeather opened his muzzle to respond, but caught a mouthful of snow that Echomoon had kicked up instead. "...A-ashfeather," he choked out, then cleared his throat. The tom called out more audibly, "It's Ashfeather!"

Then he tripped and fell face-first into a snow drift. Shaking the fine powder off his face, Ashfeather glanced around. They appeared to be in some sort of hollow. This is ThunderClan territory! A brief wave of relief swept through his body as he rose to his paws.

Ashfeather, Echomoon thought, that's a nice name, in fact it sounded quite familiar, she thought she might have actually seen this tom around ThunderClan before. She heard him trip over and giggled quietly to herself, but didn't let Ashfeather know she'd heard, she just padded right up to the she-cat and huddled next to her kits, not caring whether she minded, it was for the kits sake she was doing this, they needed both their body heat to keep them warm. She began licking their fur the wrong way to help them keep warm, she did so gently and carefully, making sure not to hurt them. There were only two so far a tom and a she-cat, both very beautiful and she looked down at them fondly and then realised their mother still hadn't finished. "That's it," She purred encouragement, "You're nearly there," She'd seen births before and she knew how to react as long as they remained calm it would make her feel a whole lot better.

  • Ashfeather felt his ears grow hot, and he padded over to join the tabby she-cat. He watched the kits, blue eyes wide with curiosity. He'd never actually seen another cat having kits, and it was something that filled him with both a sort of awe and embarrassment. Echomoon seemed to know what she was doing, so Ashfeather bounded over to the other side of the she cat. The gray cat cleared away some snow, and pressed against the she-cat in an attempt to further warm her up. He could hear the kits making soft mewling noises, and he found the sounds comforting.

The silver tom, a blur on the snow-fresh ground, padded to the cave. His paws were white with snow, his green eyes sparkling as he walked. Electric silently turned his head toward a sound in the distance, white ears pricking at the deep rumble. A monster zoomed across the thunderpath, a red blur against the light, fluffy snow. Electric stepped back, chest pushed out with confidence as he padded speedily across the thunderpath. He lowered his head as he got across, tail lowering to the ground as he shook himself off inside the dark cave.

  • “Gotcha!” Palestorm mewed in pride, snapping the mouse’s neck quickly, with the flick of a white paw. Caught out in the blizzard, the golden she-cat had decided to make the best of things. She had hollowed out a small spot in the snow that protected her somewhat from the wind, though she still had to clear it out when the snow piled over it too heavily.

And now she had something to satisfy her hunger. There was a sort of guilt at eating when she was unsure of her clanmates’ condition, but it wasn’t clear how long she’d be stuck in the cold. “Might as well keep my energy up in any way I can,” she mewed out loud out loud to no one in particular.

The pitiful mouse was devoured quickly, strangely satisfying despite the leanness of the meat. Palestorm buried the carcass in a mixture of dirt and snow, and got to her paws. The small snow den was nice, but the white sky showed no hint of relenting, and she needed a better shelter if she was to weather out this storm. She squinted her amber eyes against the harsh wind and surveyed her surroundings. Nothing but white assaulted her eyes, and she found herself getting impatient with the color.

The lack of a solid destination had never stopped vivacious Palestorm before, and it certainly wasn’t going to now. Almost with an air of defiance, the she-cat padded away from her temporary safe haven in search of a more permanent shelter. As she traveled through the unending white, her thoughts turned to her companions back at camp, as well as those that may likewise have been trapped out in the snowstorm. I hope they’re managing okay.

  • "H-Help m-me!" Maplepaw let out a shaky wail as the icy wind rippled through her sleek pelt. Her body had not yet adjusted for the leaf bare, thus she had no fluffy winter coat to keep her warm. The windclan apprentice blinked painfully, trembling as she tried looking for help.

OOC: I got confused and started roleplaying on the other one first when I meant to join this one. The other one is so flooded, you know? :-[ [/b]

  • Electric's ears pricked, hearing a meow in the distance of the mountain. He slowly stood up, his fur plastered against his slender, muscled body. The silver tom walked out, his body straight as he continued through the fluffy snow. Electric kept walking his nose twitching a s he smelt mouse ahead of him. He crouched, tail and ears lowering, as he edged forward.

Seeing and hearing the she-cat with his superior senses, he kept low to the ground, snow brushing hiw white belly. He inched closer, paws making no sound on the snow-covered ground. His whiskers twitched, and he slowly stood up straight, his claws at the ready. "Hello" Electric said, his voice low and melodic as he stepped confidently forward.

  • "H-Hello..."Maplepaw had to blink a few times before she was sure of the cat standing before her, and when she realized how foolish she looked she shook her pelt sub consciously in embarrassment. "I-I didn't mean to yell l-like that..." She apologized, voice hardly above a squeak as she shivered like a newborn kit.

  • OOC: I know what you mean! So busy!

Palestorm paused, ears perked for alertness. Was it just her imagination, or had she heard another cat? The tabby blinked, and looked around. Because she hadn’t heard from or seen another cat since the storm began, she thought at first that her mind was playing tricks on her. But after a moment of reflection, she was sure that a voice had called out something, though she couldn’t make out the words. “Hello?!” she called.

9/10 It's so late, and I'm not even halfway done. x.x I may have to do this in the morning. xD

Electric paused, his ears lowering as she yelled at him. "It's fine little one. What are you doing out here?" he asked, his voice deep, his eyes twinkling. His fur fluffed up against the cold, and his eyes flickered as he looked at the kit. The young loner silently pricked his ears, hearing another meow in the distance. "It could be dangerous" Electric said, turning back to the kit, his voice almost stern.

  • "I-I was just wandering away from the boarder...b-but I didn't know I had, honest!" The apprentice stammered, this tom didn't seem dangerous but Maplepaw still felt the urge to apologize to him for stepping out on what she assumed was his land. "I-I end up wandering a lot...I-I can't scent..."

  • BoulderPelt saw a hole in the snowy ground, he jumped into the hole and curled into a ball. He relaxed as he felt warm once more. He poked his head up to see if anyone else needs help to get away from the blizzard. He squeezed to the side of the hole to give space for another cat to jump in.

  • OOC: Goodnight my friend! =]

IC: "It's alright little one" Electric said gently, stepping towards the little kit. "We all do it" he said, softly nuzzling the kit's tiny cheek. "Come with me, I have shelter" the tom said, his voice filled with happiness, as he gently nudged the kit towards the cave.

  • BoulderPelt sighed, he felt lonely just staying in the hole without anyone else to huddle with. He could hear the whistling, cold wind above. He wonders if anyone else is searching for warmth. Or maybe....All the cats above is dead?

  • The apprentice's pelt flushed at the nuzzle, and butterflies swarmed her stomach. After the reassurance she got up and followed the rogue, thankful for the shelter as it came into view. As much as her mentor had warned her of outsiders...this one wasn't all that bad. His eyes were gentle and his voice was welcoming...why couldn't all cats act like this in front of one another? She purred softly, settling down in the dry den.

  • Electric smiled and purred at the young cat, his eyes gentle as he made a nest of feathers and leaves. "I'm Electric. What is your name?" he asked, settling down in his warm, puffy nest. He looked at the cat with curious eyes, his gaze softening as he smiled at her.

  • She waited a moment, taking in a breath as she collected her composure. This cat was of no threat to her, so she didn't need to be afraid of him anymore."M...My name is Maplepaw..." She began, swallowing hard to get rid of the pent anxiety before the words started to flow freely, normally. "I am an apprentice of Windclan, I was monitoring the boarders on my own...I was on a walk to clear my head before I decided I should speak to Brassstar. Then this storm hit and well...I got lost. I'll be sure to go once the weather lets up, thank you for opening your den to me."
