  • He had no knowledge of religion. He didn't know a thing about it, but he respected it, sort of. But he still had a job to complete and with a bucket of soapy water and a rag and sponge the wolf made his way towards the ruins that were supposedly vandalized. Tossing the bucket sloppily on the ground he stared with a furrowed brow at the ruins, some kind of paint, probably made of berries or something was smeared all over it, some words written here and there, goofy faces over there and one at the top of a cracked and crumbling pillar. Well, he didn't really know who did this but he still had to clean it up.

With a shrug on his shoulders he dunked a rag into the soapy water and got to work, his claws scratching at the paint to see if he could loosen its grip on the concrete at all. Yawning loudly and pulling his paws away from the wall he'd finally take the soapy rag and begin scrubbing away at the paint. He hoped this didn't take long, he was really wanting a nap right now.

  • she didn't come by the ruins often but hearing that they had been vandalized was the only push that she needed. though the woman seemed rather serious and aloof due to her neutral facade, drusilla was actually quite juvenile at heart. so, she loved a spot of fun or in this case, checking out what amusing images and cuss words were painted onto the ruins. much to her delight, the melanistic leopard was not disappointed. she had thought the fad of painting crude images of particular male organs died with the old world but it seemed like it was still thriving. dru couldn't help but chuckle to herself as she wandered through the ruins, gazing upon the work as if she was in an art museum. however, upon hearing the footsteps of another, the feline would pause and cautiously approach the other person present. it didn't take her long to find the extremely large canine and she let an easy smile slip onto her face as she stepped out of the shadows. "need a paw?" drusilla offered upon eyeing the bucket of soapy water and rags. was mike the one who painted all of this? was this, perhaps, part of his community service? it was certainly an amusing thought. "i don't suppose you know who did this?"

  • [-»¦«-] her whiskers twitched into a smile upon seeing him yawn while scrubbing at a wall. not long after druscilla sauntered up to lend a paw, she figured it might be a good idea to help as well. "toss me a rag, we can all nap together after this," she suggested, paws feeling lighter at the idea of a group nap. so many warm, snuggly bodies all together... ah. it was the dream, considering she hated how cold nights got! it took practically five blankets to keep her warm at night.

  • It partially annoyed him that anyone would come up to the Ruins and decide that it was appropriate to vandalize a place that was meant for worship. Naleren would forgive them he was sure but he had a hard time finding that. He sighed softly as he made his way over, wondering what his new role as a lagrange actually meant. He wasn't informed really on what he was supposed to do so he was kind of walking in the dark. He felt that he was supposed to be doing something, learning something but it didn't seem to be happening as such. Yet he still held the role with a semblance of pride. Walking over to the group he would watch Mik work on scrubbing the wall for a moment before he tilted his head a little bit and squint his gaze. ''Probably someone wanting to have some kind of attention on them. Toss me rag too, I can help you clean up the place. Maybe organize it up a little bit.'' After all he was supposed to be taking are of the ruins or at least he figured he should be.

  • Applying as much pressure as he could as he scrubbed at the religious ruins as hard as he could the wolf barely noticed Drusilla till she spoke, his head barely twisting to the side as he watched her from the corner of tired cinnamon eyes. He understood the humor in a painted on curse word or phallic symbol but right now he was too tired and too focused to care about that. Maybe later he'd think about it and get a dry chuckle from it as he always did, but right now he'd only nod towards the woman as he dunked the rag back into the bucket of soapy water. "Yea, uh, thanks," he'd finally answer as he turned back to the ruins, shrugging as she questioned about the perpetrator. It wasn't his business to hunt down teenagers and punish them for a childish act of defiance and rebelliousness. He was just here to clean up the mess they made.

Noelle's words made his shoulders sag in an exaggerated manner. She said they could all nap after this, but damnit, he really wanted to lay down right now. Nevertheless he'd turn away from his job for a moment to toss her and Barghest a soap-soaked rag. The more help the better, then they'd all get done sooner, and then he could take a nap with whoever wanted to cuddle today. Barghest's words were true though, it was likely just some brat, but that didn't make it any less tedious and annoying that they had to deal with the downfall rather than the kid who did this.

  • watching the canine scrub away at the markings sleepily somehow made her tired. perhaps his constant exhaustion was infectious but whatever the case was, the feline promptly snagged a rag upon mike's confirmation. so, he didn't know who took the time out of their day to 'redecorate' this site, she already supposed that much. it wasn't like the perpetrator would be dumb enough to scrawl their real name onto the stones to sign their work. anyhow, she'd promptly get to work on erasing the damage.

but then two became four. noelle and barghest both made an appearance to offer help. it seemed like the ruins would be rid of graffiti in no time. noelle's suggestion for an afternoon nap was certainly tempting and barghest's remark about the juvenile scrawlings did sound likely accurate. after all, there wasn't much to do in the coven. it was extremely peaceful, certainly a good place to live for stability, but most likely a boring home for the young and adventure hungry. "these ruins are supposed to be a sacred spot, yes?" came the question as the feline rubbed at a particularly troublesome stain, "maybe if we somehow acknowledged it more in our daily lives, the kids wouldn't dare disrespect it again." she wasn't exactly knowledgeable about the religion in the coven but if they did some sort of simple group prayer, they could certainly hold it here.

  • [-»¦«-] her stomach turned and her heart pounded at the thought of someone showing nalaren such disrespect. their ruins were a sacred spot and deserved the utmost respect, not this. if she ever found out who did this... oh, boy, they better be in for an earful. taking her rag, she stepped up next to mik to help him with a particularly stubborn stripe of graffiti. as she worked, noelle hummed her acknowledgement to druscilla's query. "if action is required, the best person to take action is the one making the suggestion. i think you have the heart for it, and i'd certainly join in your efforts." she spoke calmly as she worked, pondering the benefit. it would be good to have a group prayer, increase morale and lift spirits.
