  • Windclan was in shambles. What did Whitelightning do to deserve this? Birdbones was gone, Bright was crazy, Blacknight was... there. He didn’t get it; he thought he was doing everything halfway correct. White sighed as he stomped back into camp, dropping a rabbit into the fresh kill pile. The sun beat down as White looked into the medicine den, trying to see if Bird has come home yet. Of course, she hadn’t. Would she even want to return, after what Bright said to her? He wouldn’t blame her if she never came back around. Instead of their fully fledged medicine cat, her apprentice was in the den. It amazed Whitelightning that cats were so small then they were new apprentices.. and Bright wanted to take a kit’s childhood away for her own selfish reasons. Pathetic. Whitelightning walked into the den and poked Coldpaw’s leg to let her know he was there. "How.. are you holding up?" He asked in a gruff voice.

/ coldpaw this is so late so I hope you don’t mind that I made it match more of the recent plots !!

Birdbones leaving her had hurt. It had been a pain that Coldpaw hadn't yet felt. not only did she now doubt Starclan had ever came to the medicine cat to make Coldpaw an apprentice- but now she was left to train under no one. boasong wasn't around, and Birdbones was just gone. She hadn't even as much as told Coldpaw goodbye. It was painful. She had done everything right. She had been a good apprentice. She had held herb lessons, helped Birdbones gather herbs, explored the herbs, done everything the medicine cat asked of her and still tried to be involved with her clan. yet somehow... She still hadn't been good enough to make the medicine cat stay. maybe it was Brightstar's fault- in fact it was Brightstar's fault! But still- why hadn't Coldpaw been enough for Birdbones?

That is what she had been thinking when the older tom had nudged her. it had woken her out of a cold dream-like trace she was in and caused her to raise her head up to face where she assumed the male's face would be. "Oh... Uh... Well, I guess I'm okay... I just really miss Birdbones." she said, her lifeless eyes drifting off. Whitelightning seemed to jolt her from her own head- she appreciated it, but she hadn't even noticed he was there. She felt partially ashmed for that. Some blind medicine cat she was.

//sorry for the lame response gahhh

  • Damn, kids made him too sad. He was usually so angry and bitter, but looking down to a lost youth made him think back on how he was at that age: lonely and upset. He sighed as his ears flipped down. "I miss her too, but.. she’ll be back. Promise." He hoped. Really, he couldn’t promise she’d ever come back, but Coldpaw didn’t know that. He had a big doubt she would be gone forever, yes, but no one knew where she was at the moment. Maybe off in Skyclan, maybe not.
Whitelightning stood and grabbed a herb from the ones stashed away, plopping it down in front of Coldpaw. "What does this one do?" he asked, scrunching up his nose at the plant’s awful smell.

As the male spoke, coldpaw nodded ever so slightly. She hoped he was right- she hoped her mentor would be coming home and she wouldn’t have to train under Cloudwatcher forever. ”yeah- I hope you’re right. Maybe some tome soon she’ll decide she misses us or something.” she said before listening to his next words. ”uh- I’m not sure- describe it?” she said, scrunching up her own nose

Coldpaw sure did hope her mentor wanted to come home. But right now, everything was so up in the air she couldn't be sure if she ever would be coming home. While she hoped she would, she didn't have faith in her return completely. "Yeah- well I sure hope she comes home soon. Cloudwatcher is probably getting bored of feeling in her position." she said with a shrub before turning her attention abck to the herb. She wasn't very sure herself what it may be. "Uhm- I-I don't really know. I haven't learned everything just yet."
