    — Cranemask

Cranemask was now a settled warrior in Darkclan and she was living a happylife as she always wanted. It wasn't filled with romance like she had imagined when she was younger but that was no longer her main priority. She had grown up and explored what the "world" had to offer and found that Darkclan was where she could start her new life and it had been successful. She was surrounded by friends, those she was becoming increasingly protective over as well as family. She never really wanted kids but it didn't turn out as bad as she thought it would. In fact, she had become very fond of the growing children and they reserved a special place in her heart.

Stepping out into the camp, Cranemask surveyed for cats she'd recogised and found a few faces she had gotten to know as well as some that she had never interacted with. Giggling to herself at the wording of her thoughts she decided that it was time to "get to know those faces.""Darkclan!" she called out confidently to the clans, "I'd love to learn about where everyone has come from. Would anyone like to sit with me and tell me about themselves?" She'd flick her tail for the NPC cats who'd wish to join to form a circle where cats could join and share their stories.

  • Tinypaw wasn't really the... randomly talk about herself type, but she decided to go sit in the circle where she saw everyone else going. To tell stories it seemed, about where they came from. Tinypaw figured most would have come from Darkclan, but she could have easily been wrong, as she seemed to often be wrong.

  • ・゚ ✦ ° why do love and hate sound just the same to me - The deputy had nothing to hide about his past, but when Cranemask called out, it occurred to him that others might not know things about him that he thought were common knowledge. There were a lot of new faces these days, and just because he grew up born and raised in DarkClan, it didn't mean everyone here knew everything about him. On top of that, Oakridge was a friendly cat, speaking to anyone that tried to speak to him. But he rarely shared details about himself unless explicitly asked.

So the tom made his way over to Cranemask and Tinypaw, stretching before he sat among them with a friendly look.

    — Cranemask

Cranemask settled in the circle that had gathered from her calling out. She hoped to learn more about those she shared a clan with but also more about the clan's history. Laying on her stomach, with her long legs tretched out on front of her, the friendly she-cat started off the "session." "Oh well I guess I can go first," she mewed in a half chuckle at the awkward silence from those who were more listeners than talkers. Luckily, Cranemask was more of a talker. She loved to talk about anything and everything and although she loved those who could was social and talk back, there was a reason why those close to her were mostly listeners. "So, I was born in a very big litter. The oldest sibling but not the biggest. I trained in Windclan but I am glad to be away from there... It's not a bad place or anything I had just lost a lot of family to a wide range of things and living there didn't feel like home anymore. I left and roamed around for a while until I settled on Darkclan. By that I mean, I remember meeting Frostfang, yeah the big mysterious fella! I met him when I was younger and he was so protective of the clan, I just knew I wanted to be apart of it once again."

  • Tinypaw listened quietly as Cranemask spoke. She understood, wanting to be part of a clan again. She came back for that reason, well that was the reason she kept telling herself, but she knew that wasn't why. She didn't want to sit around the grave of her kit, dealing with her mate who truly didn't love her and her child the way she had loved both of them. She couldn't do it anymore, so she came back, but that isn't what she told herself, she wanted a happier reason, or maybe just wanted to avoid the hurt. She nodded once Cranemask finished speaking. "B-being p-part of a c-clan is n-nice," she said with a small smile. "Umm... I'll, g-go next," she mumbled before clearing her throat. "I w-was b-born in D-darkclan, and l-lived h-here for n-nine moons... I h-had no l-littermates... I w-was the on-only one, and m-my parents l-left n-not too l-long before I be-became an ap-prentice. W-when I w-was ab-about n-nine moons, I l-left to f-find them... u-um... then a-after s-some t-time I c-came back h-here," the she-cat mewed. Of course she left a few things out. She felt ashamed to even admit that, she surely didn't want to say oh yeah, I also had a kit and they got murdered by their dad of all things, so she didn't.
