kiba hadn't ever really had anyone solid in his life. they all came and went at their discretion, never really staying long despite his charismatic nature. it was lonely, really, to not have anyone concrete to be his friend or anything else. he had lost his parents at such an early age, never really understanding the bonds other people had with their families. he never really understood bonds in general. he felt like he could barely trust people, but he was at least trying to work on things like that. he wanted someone to be close to, he longed for the attention of someone else. he longed for somewhere to put all his pent up anger and emotions, and somewhere to call his permanent home instead of wandering like he had been for the past year. he was just tired of being by himself. the tall coywolf made his way through changing territories, ignoring all scent borders that hit his slender snout. he didn't care about running into people, he could usually lie his way out of sticky situations anyway. but now he settled himself in a cave system, far enough away from the noises of other people. he couldn't tell how many of them there were, but he didn't seem too concerned really. his golden eyes began to close as he attempted to get some rest.
WHO'S IN CONTROL | P, BELETH
-
-
" — beleth had trusted some people. you had to when you were in a clan, and he came to grow particularly close to cory, a cute russian boy; but then cory went missing, and beleth was alone. he made no friends in the sanguine ruins, either.
and he was literally the leader of a clan of one. there was nothing lonelier than that. he knew people would come eventually, that he had only re-established it a few hours ago, but it was a little odd. perhaps he should enjoy the alone time while he had it, before he was swimming in promotions and demotions and blood and raids.
rising to his paws, he shuffled out of the cave he had declared his home, taking a tunnel to the entrance, when he saw a coyote- no, that was a wolf- or was it both? his fist instinct was to bear his teeth and unsheath his claws, but he realized maybe this was not a great strategy for someone who actually wanted people in his group. he couldn't kill everyone who came onto his territory.
teleporting, he landed in front of the coywolf. "hey, man, this is hellraisers territory," the hybrid said, trying to sound as nice as possible, but the lack of inflection in his voice made it hard. he didn't want to scare this guy off... especially when there was something appealing about him, that he couldn't quite figure out.
-
upon hearing footsteps approach, the dark colored canine flicked his ears but otherwise didn't make any attempt at moving. but upon hearing someone's voice, his bright colors gaze trailing upward to meet the other boy's own. hellraisers territory? kiba raised a metaphorical eyebrow at this. didn't smell like too many creatures dwelled in these parts. maybe it was a small group, or perhaps one just starting up? kiba was observant with things such as this. the coywolf rose to his paws, finding that he wasn't too much taller than the stranger. Hellraisers? Do I gotta leave or can I keep you company? kiba figured he'd be friendly, since the other canine hadn't necessarily snapped at him or told him to leave. he even offered a charming smile, one that was light in nature but definitely amplified how handsome he was.
-
" — at kiba's flirtatious tone, beleth stuck the tip of his tongue out of his mouth. he had never been flirted with before. well, of course, he had once had a little crush on his old co-worker, but nothing came out of that. and certainly, cory never flirted so blatantly with him. it was an entirely new experience, and beleth didn't know how to feel about it.
when he smiled, beleth blinked. he's kind of cute... he'd finally admit mentally, remembering what he had told his clanmates earlier. there was no point in driving people out; they needed any help they could get. "you don't haveta' leave, course," beleth spoke, extremely informal, as he came to sat by him.
"my name's beleth asimov. i'm the leader of the hellraisers, actually," it was a little weird to say out loud, but it was true. he didn't feel like he had worked for it, though. "you?" he asked, genuinely curious, and he couldn't hide his excitement, his curled tail hitting the ground of the cave as it wagged.
-
he didn't have to leave, and that was good enough for him. he'd definitely stay here with the other boy. upon hearing the word 'leader', kiba's ears perked. this guy was the leader of this territory? might as well stay on his good side then. kiba knew how much of an asset he could be for the other male, and grinned even more. he decided to seat himself, since beleth was sitting and didn't seem like a threat at the moment. maybe he could trust him? Kiba. No last name or anything. I live by myself, sadly, but I think of myself as an assassin of sorts. the canine introduced, his golden eyes sparkling with mild interest in the leader. I'm skilled in combat, defensive and offensive moves, and weapons. he added, feeling as if that bit of information could be crucial to impressing the other. his grin changed into a much more flirtatious smirk as he checked the other boy out. kiba had absolutely no shame, and was confident enough to defend his actions if they were questioned.
-
" — beleth leaned in. "ah, kiba's a cool name," he spoke honestly, nodding as he listened, his eyes wide with amazement at all the different things kiba could do. "you're an assassin! that's so cool!" he'd say, his tail wagging still, clearly extremely impressed. although it wasn't hard to do for beleth. he wasn't sure why he felt the way he did, being so physically close to this man, that his heart raced a lot faster than he was used to- and he usually suffered from tachycardia. "i like that." he'd grin, then tilt his head. "oh- you said you don't got anywhere to live... do you want to join my group? we don't have a lot of people right now, but, but, it's gonna get big one day cause' we don't have any rules, which is a lot different from other groups." he asked curiously, leaning even closer in now.
-
kiba's own tail wagged as he was praised, and his eyes brightened as the hybrid offered a place for him in this 'hellraisers' group. of course he wanted to join! grinning excitedly, the coywolf nodded his head up and down. Hell yeah! I vote I sleep with you.. I'm scared of the dark. he said cooly, giving another wink. sure, he was totally lying about being scared of the dark, but if it scored him a bed with this cutie he was completely okay with lying. kiba got up and stretched, his muscles rippling under his dark coat as he did. maybe he was showing off a little bit... but that was always okay too, right?
