It had been a while since Radiant had joined up with others to live together. They had spent a brief time in the plains of Wind Haven, but something about the sea of grass hadn't pierced their wandering heart in quite the right way. It was fine for a while; and then they were gone again.
It turned out a more literal sea was exactly what the lion had been searching for. Radi was solitary for a number of moons, navigating the waterway with only the sealife to converse with. They grew used to the lonely lifestyle; but they laid no claim over the land. And so, when new creatures arrived with talk of a more official settlement, Radiant quietly joined the efforts. As long as they could stay by the sea, they were happy.
The lion padded across the beach with lazy steps, enjoying the salty spray of the ocean as they pieced through the pebbles and shells. They were hoping to find something exceptional, worth decorating the lighthouse with. So far the most exciting piece they'd found was bright oyster shell with a chromatic reflection. Radiant rolled it between their paws. "Too bad it's empty, would've been nice to find a pearl," they murmured to themselves.
