Coldkit was keen on adventures. While she hadn't traveled completely out of Windclan territory yet, she was certainly on her way. The pure white she-kit had been walking for what felt like forever in search of something a little more fun than what her clan currently had to offer. All she saw were chicken feathers and hunting patrols. Neither of which she cared for or enjoyed anyway. This had brought her on her adventure while the warriors were busy cleaning up the chickens mess and not paying her any attention. Coldkit didn't have a mother, and she didn't have a father. She was an orphaned kit given milk by a npc mother who had now moved onto mothering her own kits. Coldkit was also currently the oldest one in the nursery, other than Cottonkit who had been kidnapped. This made for a very lonely and boring day-to-day routine. She had traveled out hoping someone would notice her and pay her attention. But when they hadn't, she just kept walking. And walking. And walking. Until she came edging the Windclan border.

Marigoldkit often traveled outside of camp. Without a mother to reprimand her or a father to keep a watchful eye on her, she was a free bird- or kit if you wanted to be literal. Though sometimes it did make her sad seeing her denmates curled up next to their snoring mothers at times, she didn't let that get her too down. She had Oceanpaw after all, and she was grateful for him. Yet, without any consistent authority figures to keep an eye on her, she had plenty of time to sneak away.
She found herself going towards the moors, the apprentices had told her of a clan called Windclan that inhabited that territory. A white spot caught her gaze, rabbit! She foolishly though, sneaking up to the border where what she thought was prey was, she would then attempt to pounce onto Coldkit, if she was successful she would quickly realize it was a kitten, just like her. "AH!" She'd mew, her voice dripping with utter surprise, she would then struggle to clamor off the kit, "S-sorry! I thought you were a rabbit!" She would quickly try to explain to the stranger.
"Speech."
-
One minute, she was minding her own business, and the next she was being attacked? The small she-kit let out her best attempt at a hiss and would roll over onto her belly, claws out and fully ready to attack and unleash all her little kitten rage on whoever it was. That was until she heard the soft voce of the other she-kit. Half of her heart dropped in thankfulness she wasn't going to die, and the other half dropped in sadness she didn't get a cool first fight to tell the other kits about. "What do you mean you thought I was a rabbit?" the feline asked, knowing good and well she was small enough and white enough to look like a rabbit. "I'm no rabbit- I'm a real living and breathing cat a-and who are you?" she asked, eyebrows furrowed in curiousity.
-
Marigoldkit ruffled her flattened chest fur quickly, attempting to look like she almost didn't assault the other she-kit. "I'm sorry! You were in the distance and I didn't see you turn around.." She tried to explain, clearing her throat at her peer's next question, "I'm Marigoldkit! Proud future warrior of Thunderclan!" She purred, puffing her light golden chest out in pride. "Real question is, who are you?" She inquired, observing the snow whit kit with a curious gaze.
"Speech."
-
Marigoldkit? What kind of name was that? She'd never heard of such a thing before! The kit couldn't help but raise a brow as she heard the name, almost wanting to ask what it meant but keeping her muzzle shut until she had finished introducing herself. Future warrior of Thunderclan? Why was she all the way over here. The she-kit would then look around and realize she was also a good bit away from camp. it seemed as though they both had traveled too far. "I'm Coldkit, future leader of Windclan!" she exclaimed, puffing her chest out a little. The kit often told people she was going to be the leader some day, but it was really more of a dream than it was for certain. After all, she had a lot of moons ahead of her. "What's Thunderclan like?" she asked, quickly taking the attention away from the conversation at had as she bounced around a little, eyes sparkling, "Does your camp really smell like old mouse-dung? That's what my friend told me." she said, recalling her fond chat with her kit-friend.
-
Future leader huh? Marigoldkit admired her confidence, she smiled at this not-so-stranger now. So this was Windclan territory? It seemed so... barren! Where were the trees? Or rocks to warm up on? Maybe there was more to it? At Coldkits question, Marigoldkit scrunched her nose up. Mouse-dung? Gross!
"Thunderclan is awesome! There's so much to do! We got tree's and rocks and moss and our camp doesn't smell like dung, it smells like a forest!" She mewed, proudly describing her home. The kit paused, glancing over the Moor, "what about Windclan? It seems so.. bare" she asked curiously.
"Speech."
-
Ah, Thunderclan didn't smell bad? The kit reflected on that. Huh, strange. "Well, you have more room to run." she said, not thinking much of her territory being bare. "Give you more space to stretch your legs out, have races and such without avoiding rocks!" she said, bouncing a bit as she spoke. "So, why you all the way out here? You get kicked out or something?"
//mobile :(
-
Marigoldkit nodded slowly as the other pointed out that it seemed to be much easier to run. At her next question the light golden kit shrugged, "Thunderclan doesn't kick kits out, I just walked to far I guess" she replied softly, turning her head over her shoulder to view Thunderclans forest-y territory behind her. Swiveling her head back to Coldkit, "how about you? Did Windclan kick you out? Ohh! are you like a killer or something?" She gasped, imagine meeting a glorified killer! She'd have so much to brag to Loudkit and Candlekit back home!
"Speech."
-
A killer? The females nose tightened up closer to her skull as she let out what one could call a 'yuck' sound. "No! I'm too small. Even though I am the biggest kit- I still couldn't do that. Only Bloodclan cats are that mean!" she said, before looking back to the other kit. "Hey, maybe we can go on an adventure and go back to your home! We can both go and I can see where you live at!" she said, more as a question than an actual statement. She really just needed some adventure in her life. she was tired from sitting at home all day.
-
Marigoldkit giggled at Coldkits reaction, at her prompt for an adventure her smile grew and she nodded enthusiastically. "Sure! I'd have to sneak you in though so we dont get in trouble!" She giggled, bouncing to her paws. "Where should we go, Coldkit?" She purred to her new acquaintance.
"Speech."
-
Sneak her in? Sounded like a good time to her! "I will do anything as long as it's fun!" she said, a giggle escaping her voice yet again. Wow, this new friend sure was nice! They could do so much together. "Are you serious, about sneaking into Thunderclan you mean? You think they'd notice us if we pulled a prank on 'em" she said, dropping down to a crouch with her butt in the air and her tail wiggling
-
Marigoldkit was happy that Coldkit seemed up to the idea of being sneaky. "Thunderclans soo busy! W'ed be able to slip right by!" She purred to Coldkit. "Want me to show you the territory? We have this really cool sunning place!" She asked Coldkit, eager to get on the move.
-
"Oh yes! I can't wait! Let's hurry up and go now before someone sees us!" she chirped, paws going in there usual dancing motion. This was going to be great! A fun adventure with her new friend! And she couldn't wait to tell everyone at home!!
/I promise I usually have way more muse than these posts but i'm enjoying the chill thread lol

//All good! I totally get you!
Marigoldkit was just about to burst with excitement. She smiled at Coldkit and then began walking in the direction of Sunningrocks. "Thunderclan territory is so cool! There is so many rocks and stuff to climb on, and we have this really cool river that we share with Riverclan! It's awesome!" She told her new friend as they walked, careful to avoid stray rocks. After about a 15 minute walk they finally reached the rocks, the river was somewhat high today so they would have to be careful. "Here we are! Sunningrocks!" She purred, leaping up to the smallest one she stretched comfortably and let out a sigh as she laid on it, "try it out! It's soo warm!" She said to Coldkit.
-
Sunningrocks? The name brought Coldkit so much excitement. For a cat with such a name as hers, she didn't really care much for the cold. She much rather preferred being warm. The kit would leap up on the rocks, excitement coursing through her eyes as she would plop down and warm her small body on them. "You're right! These feel great!" the kit exclaimed, so much excitement in her voice she could barely contain it. "I wish we had these, that would be nice! I could get warm whenever I wanted!" she exclaimed
-
Marigoldkit had a thoughtful look on her face as Coldkit mentioned wanting to have these. "Why don't you just visit all the time? And we can relax on these whenever we want!" She offered, stretching comfortable as she felt the warm rocks surface on her fur, "does Windclan have any cool stuff?" She prompted curiously.
-
"Oh I wish I could come here whenever! But I believe it's against the warrior code. I'm sure they wont miss e much yet because I don't have a momma or anyone to watch me, but when I'm an apprentice I probably won't get to travel so much." she said, the light behind her eyes growing dim. Being an orphan defiantly had it's perks, but it also wasn't all it was cracked up to be either. If only she knew a few days from then she would be viciously attacked by a dog and loose her vision... Maybe that would change how she viewed things now. "Windclan doesn't have any super cool things- not that I've seen anyway. it's all boring. But we do have feathers from chickens! Those are cool!"
