*:・゚✦ here are the swaps! it's down to everybody to check the physical description of the body your character has swapped with :) if you didn't ask to join early but now want to join in lmk, you'll need to find a partner to swap with!

prompt: your character wakes up in their own bed/wherever they slept the night before, but something is amiss...

The first indicator that something was wrong was the fact Clove seemed to be missing a tail.

Usually as she slipped from sleep into wakefulness, her twin tails would begin to twitch beneath the thick duvet that covered her body. If anything, it was simply a way to try and rouse herself to get up and out of bed; but this time, Clove could only twitch one tail tip...and it wasn't hanging off the end of her bed as it should have been. Had she both lost a part of her body and shrunk during the night?

It was an unsettling thought, and more enough to make the fae leap to her paws with lightening speed. Not that it helped, since she was trapped underneath the duvet that seemed inexplicably large.

"What in Helios's name-" spat the canine, words breaking off in surprise.

She sounded...she sounded like a child again. Her voice was high and breathy, that of a young female.

Desperation gripped the femme and she lashed out against the blanket that was trapping her, limbs flailing against the fabric just as she rolled off of her bed and landed on the carpeted ground with a thud. A huff of air left Clove's lungs, and with a final kick of her legs the lieutenant got herself free; and almost passed out as she came face to face with the mirror leaning against her wall.

The eyes that stared back at her, wide with shock, were not her own molten gold. One was an iridescent purple, the other a deep red.

Most disconcertingly, they belonged to Damaskrose. In fact, the entire body that Clove was now breathing in did not belong to her; it was smaller, tortoiseshell, and wingless. If anyone looked upon Clove, they would see the daughter of Breakout and Alcibiades - which Clove certainly was not.

    "Fuck."

The now hellhound didn't usually swear, but right now felt like an acceptable time to do so. Her voice again caught her off guard, and she almost laughed at the absurdity of it all, but she shook her head and began to focus instead. If she was in Damaskrose's body, then where was Damaskrose? And where was Clove's own body? Had they simply switched? For what reason? Maybe Helios was having a joke.

Whatever the reason was, Clove had things to be doing - like locating where she currently was. The woman looked herself over again the mirror - shivering at the eyes which she'd only seen reflecting Damaskrose's odd coldness in the past - and headed for her door, ready to head out onto the landing and make her way downstairs.

It wasn't going to be so easy. Clove ended up crashing herself against the heavy door and almost knocking herself out. With a groan, the hellhound glared at the thick wood that barred her exit, then threw herself at the panel which slowly gave way. Helios, I do not miss being as weak a as a child.

Tiny paws pattered across the floor and down the stairs, and Clove came to a halt in the main foyer. Taking a deep breath, the hellhound tilted her head back and began to yell.

    "HAS ANYONE SEEN CLOVE?!"

  • - asimov had actually gone to bed for once, leaving his work on his desk and doing a shot of vodka before he fell asleep. tomorrow i've got to finish that plan... was his last thought, apparently not prepared for the chaos that would happen the next morning.

before the sun rose, asimov was up. he was late to bed, early to rise, and he was only marginally affected by his lack of sleep. still, as soon as he pushed his silk sheets off of his body, he realized he no longer fit in his bed. "... what..." he breathed, rolling out of his very-asimov-sized bed and realizing his room looked a lot smaller than he remembered. right, and his face didn't hurt, but something felt wrong in his mouth, too. his tongue ran over the sockets. i'm missing... two teeth? he thought, and rushed out of his office to look in a bathroom mirror.

oh my god, i'm my own lieutenant, he thought. devious thoughts emerged in his head, the type of thing every man said they'd do if they ever ended up in a woman's body, 'just to see what it was like,' but he decided against it for now. am i hallucinating? what i drank last night was vodka, right? he thought, trying to keep calm.

he went to go downstairs, hopefully to get this all sorted out (he had already begun to miss his own body) and he heard tiny pawsteps, and saw damaskrose yelling for clove. now, he could admit that he was stuck in a predicament... or he could abuse this. he tried to imitate rue's distant way of speaking. "... hmm, no." was all he'd state, odd to hear her voice come out of his mouth. well, really, it was her mouth.

he liked being six feet tall, though. he felt like a god among short mortals. "what do you need?" he'd follow up with, trying to remain perfectly calm- to truly capture that rue exterior.

  • Curled up under the somewhat oppressive weight of a blanket, Wavepool winced as her eyes cracked open, the light only seeming to make the headache she had worse. 'Ugh...what did I do last night?' This felt like a hangover, the worst she had ever had really, it hurt so much, her tongue felt like sandpaper, and she couldn't remember drinking anything last night, she didn't even drink all that much in the first place. How much did she drink if she went and forgot about everything that had happened between last night and now...how much did she drink if she couldn't even remember drinking in the first place. For that matter, why did she even have blankets right now? She could have sworn Pentious still had hers, she never used them anyways, that was why she had let the Basilisk keep hers, had she gone and gotten new ones last night or something?

Still half asleep and groggy, she pushed at the obstructive piece of cloth with her hind legs, kicking it from her body, rolling over ever so slightly to-was there something on her face, why did her face sting so much? Lifting a paw to whatever the object was, she frowned as her red paws tapped something hard on her face, something kind of...ceramic-y? Her mouth also didn't feel quite right, the shape just felt...wrong, longer then it should be, uh, this is what she got for going overboard wasn't....wait, red paws? Scrambling to sit up on her bed, she lifted a paw to her face, met with a dark red instead of the blue she expected, a small band of white circling the limb, with a white crescent under it. Water, where was her water, why did she suddenly have fur instead? This...she couldn't have shapeshifted in her sleep or something could she? She hadn't been able to do that since arriving on Agrelos, and there was something different about this body, something familiar.

"W-What-" her voice cut off almost immediately, paws flying to her mouth in horror at the voice that had just assuredly come from her own maw. Masculine, suave, a voice that even in confusion had a sort of naturally seductive undertone to it, that was not her voice, but she did recognize that voice. Asimov, that was Asimov's voice, why did she have Asimov's v-no, she didn't just have Asimov's voice, she looked like him too! Scrambling out of the bed, she searched for a mirror, something, anything to see herself in, her twin tails flailing behind her in her raw panic, two tails, he had two tails, that was right. The room looked small, so much smaller then she remembered, he was bigger then her too, wasn't he, she was smaller then most of the members of the Cartel. Finally catching sight of a mirror, she rushed over and...it was Asimov, he was staring back at her from the mirror, a paw lifted itself, and the copy in the mirror did the same. She glanced back and across her own, now much larger, much redder, and less watery form, no longer female either-no, nononono she did not need that thought right now! She was Asimov, why was she Asimov, what was this, what was going on?!

Panic settled in, she felt her heartbeat skyrocket as the terror slowly reached into her, a paw shooting to lay over her chest, bracing for the pain and...it didn't come? Where was the pain? No...there should have been at least some slight pains already, that familiar tightness, the pain, where was it? She...she was in Asimov's body, his body with a fully functioning, undamaged heart, there was no pain to be had, which meant if someone was in her body....was someone in her body?! Vaguely, the now kitsune felt something burst out of her, something that she had never felt before, and a nearby desk slammed to the ground, thrown several feet away from her, causing her to let out a shout of fear. Turning to the door, she barreled through the shut portal, nearly knocking it off its hinges as she did, rushing down the hallway towards the main foyer, wincing as every step seemed to exacerbate the headache she had, nearly tripping a few times from the dizziness and nausea she felt, WHY DID ANYONE DRINK THIS MUCH?!

Arriving at the top of the staircase, she leaned against one of the banisters as she tried to fight back the urge to vomit, a small part of her marveling at the utter lack of tiredness from running the whole way. Squinting her eyes to try and keep the sheer burning light of the sun out, she managed to make out two forms at the bottom, a far too-tall one, but slightly smaller then before, alongside a much smaller figure, Rue and...Damaskrose? It was hard to tell, everything was bleary, and the room felt like it was spinning too much, she...she felt like she was going to be sick. "R-Rue, D-Damaskr-rose, where's...where's Asimov, I...I mean where am I....ugh..." she called out, her deeper voice trailing off the further she went, body slowly slumping down from the banister to lay on her side, eyes closed with her front legs limp beside her

  • • • • Doppio’s day went like normal. He talked to the other cartelians, did some work, ate, etcetera. Eventually it grew dark, and Doppio went up to his room to sleep in the comfort of his own room. The longer he stayed in the cartel the more comfortable he was getting with all of the other people and the way everything functions. He was finally starting to get use to everything the cartel had to offer.

    Until this shit happened.

At first, Doppio was fine. He yawns, slowly opening his eyes. The moment his eyes open to reveal the scene around him, he freezes. Something felt different Did he do something last night!? He felt like he hadn’t a headache...

    ”What the hell...-“

A choked noise escapes his throat. That was not his voice. Why did he sound like that? He sounded like a girl. No.. in fact.. it almost seemed like he sounded like..

He looks down, seeing his body, and screams.

Doppio, in Scarlet’s body, dashes out of the room and towards the stairs when he hears rose scream for clove. He runs down the stairs as fast as he can without falling and breaking his- Scarlet’s- bones. He runs past Asimov and over to Damaskrose, and Rue. Doppio’s now red tail was poofed up, obviously shaken up. ”Somebody better explain to me what’s going on!” the fox exclaims.

Discomfort niggled it's way into his morning dreams and dragged him away from the welcoming embrace of slumber in the rudest way possible. He itched, he itched bad! By the great Void, did he have mites in the scales again? He strained a foreleg up to give himself a scratch, but he couldn't turn his paw in the right way to scratch properly. His brow ridges furrowed as the itch grow ever worse and he felt something... strange, a body part was moving, one that was foreign to him. Turning his head he then watched in horror as a hind paw kicked him right in the face and sent him tumbling right off of the bed.

    THUD!

In a daze he laid there on the floor with a sore cheek and nose. What the hell was going on?! Straining his head up he then looked at his body, and he honestly fainted for a few seconds. Lifting his head up again he was once again presented with his nightmare appearance. Where were his lovely glossy scales?! Why was he some horrid furry thing with itchy skin?! Wait... was that smell coming from him? He gave a gag of disgust. The only person who stank like that was... BATTERY! Oh shit! Was he in that skunk-muffin's body?! How?!

Panic gripped him and he began to squirm across the floor on his side whilst flicking his tongue out. He eventually reached the hallway and he paused and panted hard from exhaustion, though admittedly with less of an itch down one of his sides from all the shuffling and wriggling. He caught sight of someone darting past towards the stairs so he decided to follow, and... wait? He could hear everything clearly. Voices from elsewhere in the mansion, and it all seemed rather clear. Loud even. Grunting, huffing, and inching his way across the landing he soon reached the top of the stairs. Oh boy, how was he going to handle this?

Rolling onto his other side he then took the plunge as he eased himself head first over the top step. Thum-thum-thum-thum-thum-... He slid down the steps looking like a sad pancake until he arrived at the bottom where he lay like a sorry looking puddle. Though he gave a groan of sheer pleasure and it sparked his tail to start wagging against his will. Well, that had dealt with the itch just nicely.

    "Ooooh.... that hit the spot."

Now then, why was he down here again? Oh yeah, he was looking for the others so he could get some fucking help.

    "Um... is anyone around?"

He barked whilst saliva dripped from his maw. Gross.

  • Battery cursed to himself as he was awoken by screaming. As he started to stretch as he arised, that was the first time he noticed that something was amiss. In front of him were too perfectly pink front fox legs, nothing like his own hairless ones. His small little fox body seized up, ears snapping back against his skull in horror. There was only one pink fox he knew of - Doppio.

Turning around to observe his pretty pink coat, he noticed that he was spotlessly clean and donning a purple sweater. Battery started to tremble at the thought of being clean, his throat constricting as he started to hyperventilate. It felt so utterly wrong, his thick armour of grime and scabs completely gone.

"Doppio!" He snared, even more terrified when his voice was slightly higher pitched in tone. As the words left his mouth, he was aware of another presence inside of him. It felt as if two souls had been jammed into the same body. 'Who's this!' The man's voice echoed inside his head, until the strange presence he'd felt melted away.

Hitting his head against the bannister in an attempt to bring himself back to reality, he was faced with five others who all looked equally as traumatised. "Who spiked the juice?" Battery hissed. "Flying fish. I'm gonna go roll in some dirt before I puke. I smell like ice cream!"

Suddenly, he scented a smell which was overwhelmingly familiar. Before he knew it, Battery was face to face with himself. Ugh, did he really look like that? No wonder he was still a virgin. "What are you doing with my body! Who are you? Body thief!" Battery snarled at his own body, spitting on the carpet beneath him.

  • • • • He cringes as he watches whoever was in Batterychicken’s body slide down the stairs. That must feel horrible. It take some a moment, but it clicks in the fox’s head. Doppio looks at the others. "I-I think we somehow switched bodies!" the fox exclaims, trying not to cringe when he hears Scarlet’s voice replacing his own. How were they supposed to reverse this?

He watches as- oh god that was his body. Someone was walking around in his body. Seeing himself felt a lot weirder than being another person’s body. Hearing the other’s words makes Doppio gasp in horror.

Ooooh no. No no no no no no-

Of course he would have the luck of having Batterychicken in his body. He immediately grows angry, suddenly running at Batterychicken, in his own body, at full speed, and attempts to tackle him and pin him down. "Make me smell as bad as you and I’ll dump soap and water on you in your sleep!" he snarls.

  • "Some sort of virtue eh?"

"Kindness is such a simple thing" — Scarlet Rivion

When she had went to bed everything had been normal, she didn't expect anything of abnormality of this until...the next day she woke up with this uncomfortable feeling of being wet. What? Startled she sat up in her bed only to feel a lot smaller somehow and--she was a lot more fluffy and why did she feel older? Her ears snapped as she heard the screaming and she awkwardly got up and let a soft whine escape her maw as she began awkwardly walking over to crowd she noticed her body pinning Doppio down and she squeaked "G-g-get off them!" she cried out to them before flinching and sitting down, she was made out of...water, her worse fear and she gritted her teeth. She wanted to be back in her own body now "D-dad!" Scarlet cried to her dad, she felt so icky at the moment.

Out of all bodies she could of been swapped with it had to been one with water dealt with it. Well, guess she couldn't really keep it out of the bag now "I hope we can figure this out soon cuz I'm afraid of water-" she told them while her ears swerved and she looked around wondering who's body she even had in the first place. Of course the feeling of being older, a feline body...could it been Wavepool? "A-and where's wavepool?" she asked them

    "What could this be?"

    "Speak" "Thoughts"

  • 'I think we somehow switched bodies!' Turning around to observed the shocked folks around him, it all made sense. Whatever trickery this was Battery was disappointed that he hadn't been responsible for it himself. A prank, magic trick, or whatever deception this was, was on an admirably grand scale. It had managed to send the core of the Cartel into marvellous chaos.

"Of course we've switched bodies," Battery hissed, teeth snapping with frustration. Though he was in awe of the trickery of this situation, it didn't mean that he wasn't completely and utterly horrified.

Before he knew it, he was face to face with who knew to be Scarlet. However, the furious realisation painted on the other fox's face told him that wasn't, in fact, Scarlet. Doppio. As Battery was bowled over and pinned against the ground, he listed to the other's snarls with glee. The fact that he had the power to make Doppio's body as stinking and dirty as he liked made him laugh with sick satisfaction. All his grievances about being clean were momentarily forgotten.

"You mad, pink boy?" Batterychicken taunted, grinning up at the the other who'd pinned him to the ground with delight. Empowered by his complex of filth, Battery aimed to lean up and tug at the other's ear. Meanwhile he would use his front paws to kick at his chest, attempting to flip their position so he'd be on top. "Mad I'm going to make your stink like shit?"

  • - the hellhound watched as scarlet and doppio fought, and their dialogue indicated that they had switched bodies. everyone came out and were acting like madmen- so some sort of supernatural event had switched all their bodies. it got confusing fast. deciding to be an ass about it, he didn't answer scarlet's worried call, even if he wanted to. he almost broke character when he heard her, his chest tightening, but he had dedicated himself entirely to this act now.

even stranger was glancing over and seeing himself. he blinked. wow, i am really hot, he thought, and a cruel thought emerged in his mind. grinning, he made his way over in rue's large hellhound body. "... asimov, sir, i've had something i must admit to you," he spoke, rue's voice still a bit unusual for the man to hear coming out of his throne. "you're amazing. your muscles are so sculpted, you're incredibly intelligent and so, so humble,"

and before wavepool could protest, asimov had lowered his head to place rue's mouth against his own body's lips. he figured whoever was in his body would scramble out of his way, but for the moment their lips locked, asimov thought wow, i am also an amazing kisser.

  • Waking up had been an interesting experience. Why is the ceiling closer? He thought as he stared up from where he had conked out the night before. After returning to the Cartel, he found that he could finally get some shut-eye without being woken up by screaming and yelling.

Actually - never mind, he could hear people yelling.

Makariy briefly frowned then made a move to roll over in order to stand up. It was then that he spotted the sheen of metal where his paws were supposed to be. He blankly stared at the prosthetic for a good few minutes. "...What-" He choked on his spit. He quickly scrambled to his paws and slapped them over his mouth in surprise. He recognized the voice immediately. Yelly Man. Panic surged in his chest and he unsteadily got up to search for a mirror. He had to look through three rooms before he finally found one.

Horror flashed in his face as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. There, in all his glory, was the Godfather himself. His brain struggled to comprehend the image until it settled on one conclusion: I'm like Cairo. I'm Yelly Man's mushroom son. Just like Cairo had slowly began to look like Father (or was it Asimov now? Was Breakout 'Father?' Was he related to the Crying Man?), Makariy woke up and turned into Breakout's splitting image.

"No," he shook his head. That didn't make sense; Makariy didn't have scars like Yelly Man. Or piercings. Or a metal leg. There had to be another reason.

His attention once again turned back to the yelling and he peeked out into the hall. He caught snippets of the conversation and his expression morphed into one of understanding. So they had switched bodies? Makariy's nose crinkled. I don't want ass horns, he glumly thought.

He lumbered over to the scene, eyeing the gathered animals. His expression very slowly transformed into one of pure, unadulterated glee. Everyone was so tiny. It was at this moment that he experienced his first bout of smug pride. He caught a glimpse of Father - tiny form dwarfed by both him and Rue. Pity filled his eyes. "I'm so sorry," he said solemnly. He didn't elaborate.

Since he was now the Yelly Man, did that mean he was in charge? Ideas sparked in his mind. Makariy cleared his throat. "Everyone outside, NOW!" He made sure to add a growl to the end of his sentence, intent on perfectly mimicking Breakout's booming voice.

Penny was about to introduce himself to the original owner of the body he had unfortunately found himself in, but then his chance to speak was robbed from him by Scarlet's body moving to jump Doppio's. So... was Doppio attacking Battery? Jeez, this was a fucking headache! This was going to end in tears if someone didn't rally the troops, and he had no idea where the other Capos, Angel or Breakout were... in a spiritual sense at least.

He was about to holler when someone else beat him to it. Penny squinted over in the direction of... Breakout? No, just Breakout's body. If it was really the Godfather there would be swear words being shared like raining confetti. Well, still a good plan all the same.

"Alright, you heard the man, everyone outside and line up! We are getting this mess sorted out! Someone bring some labels and a pen, we'll make name tags. And could someone please pick me up, I've never had legs before!"

He didn't fancy wasting even more energy wriggling around across the floor. This was ridiculous! Him, trapped in a smelly mammal's body! As his anxiety grew ever worse he began to flick his tongue in and out in a frantic manner in a vain attempt to calm down.

THEY'RE WRITTEN DOWN FOR ALL ETERNITY

BUT YOU'LL NEVER SEE THE PRICE IT COSTS

Angel groaned as she rolled out of bed, rolling straight off of it and to the ground with a light thump. Whining softly, the catsune brought her paw to her head only to notice it definitely was metal and was totally flesh. Her eyes snapped open as she looked at the offending limb, her eyes widening at the toffee brown and chocolate colored limb before her. Her now emerald green hues roaved along her new body, groaning as she smacked her forehead to the ground. Greeeeat, another body swap.

Angel stood to her much shorter stature and made her way down the stairs, having to pay extra mind to her footfalls so she didn't tumble down the much larger stairs in a less than graceful manner. Emeralds lazily flicked from one Cartelian to another, most in a high state of panic as they tried to identify who they were and who had their body. She felt rather numb about the fact that she stood in her nephew's body, although rather concerned as to who had ended up with her body. The rest of the Celestial System must be freaking the fuck out about a new owner in the body. She had to find herself, and fast.

"Anyone know where Angelbeats is? Or Clove? There are six other entities in Angel's body that are probably throwing mad shit about me not being in there for some Helios forsaken reason." She called through the lobby before her ears swiveled to catch Breakout's voice. She could only hope her leader was still in his own body as she filed out onto the porch with everyone else. Angel doubted this however, no way would this be that simple.

    "Angel"  "Mimi"  "Honey" "Ali-Bee"

  • Laying at the top of the stairs, Wavepool tried her best to fight down the horrible nausea she felt, how did Asimov even get up in the morning if this was how he felt some days? He did it to himself, but still, to keep doing this to yourself, knowing you were going to wake up and feel awful, what drove him to continue drinking, she would have quit the first time! Hearing the faint sound of pawsteps nearby, she lifts her head and opens her eyes just a crack to see Scarlet rush by her and down the stairs, only to start shouting at the bottom. Wincing as the screams drove nails further into her skull, she weakly shifted her legs to try and cover her ears, why did Asimov have to have such big ears?

Rolling over back to her stomach, she gave a groan as she pushed herself back upright, leaning against the banister as she did, wishing this entire day could just be over, she had just woken up and now she wanted to go back to sleep until this was all settled. Her body was still out there though, and it was the least she could do to try and make sure no one did any damage to it...well, any more damage to it. Finally standing on shaky legs, she was once again startled by an odd noise nearby, turning to find Battery...just...crawling along the ground like a worm...wait, hold on, was that Pentious then, in Battery's body? Was this...was this just happening to everyone in the Cartel, was there anyone who wasn't the same?!

Watching Battery...er, Pentious slide down the stairs, but you know, as Battery was weird, there was nothing about this whole situation that wasn't outright bizarre. Seeing Battery-Pentious land next to Doppio, only to have the fox cry out something about a body thief, she had the benefit of knowing that, out of all those who could have been in her body, at least it wasn't Battery. Slowly making her way down the stairs the sounds of Doppio-Battery, and, who she could only assume was the real Doppio, in Scarlet's body, fighting reached her, ah, she could understand that one, she would have hated to get any mud out of her own pelt herself if Battery had ended up in it. "C-Could you...c-could you b-both stop....please" All this noise just made everything so much worse, it was getting better, little by little, but this whole experience was still just awful for her.

Hearing her own voice calling out, when she hadn't spoken herself was utterly terrifying, worse, it was calling out to her, to Asimov, calling him dad. That meant...well, it could have been a lot of people really, Asimov had a lot of kids, but the bit about being scared of water let her know just who was in her body. Scarlet, out of all the bodies she could have got, Scarlet had gotten hers, coated in a layer of the exact thing that she was afraid of. "Over here S-Scarlet, I'm Wavepool...uh, h-hi." This..this was just all kinds of awkward, Scarlet was in her body, and she was in Scarlet's father's body. "Scarlet y-you...I need you t-to calm down, it's j-just water, it's a p-part of me, um, of y-you, just...j-just stop panicking, y-you're going to h-hurt yourself."

Hearing someone approach her, she turned and found herself gazing down her now red muzzle at Rue...er...who was Rue right now, exactly? Was Rue still herself or was she someone else? Ah, this whole entire thing was just so confusing! When the hellhound started speaking though, her eyes widened and she felt her jaw drop for a moment, shying away from the much larger, approaching female. "R-Rue, this is r-really not the t-time, I'm W-Wave and...w-wait, Asi-" This wasn't Rue, it was Asimov in her body, and as soon as the words started to leave her mouth, he leaned over, and planted his lips right onto hers. She was frozen, eyes widening to their utmost limits, lips locked with Rue, she was kissing her, Asimov was kissing her, he was kissing himself. Her mind filled with static, her body, Asimov's body, frozen in place as the kiss continued, her mind vaguely registering the sounds of Doppio and Battery fighting in the background, and Breakout yelling something in the background. As she stared in wide eyed shock at Asimov throughout the kiss however, she realized that some part of her liked this, and she couldn't help but think 'He's a really good kisser'

*:・゚✦ Spinning on her heel as Rue appeared beside her, Clove suddenly felt very very small. The other woman was already twice the size of Clove’s actual body, and now that she was as small as Damaskrose...it was as if she were looking at a giant.

“I think she has something of mine.” grumbled the hellhound under her breath, tortoiseshell ears flattening against her head. Clove’s heterochromatic gaze suspiciously strayed to Rue’s face, searching the other for any signs of discomfort or confusion - but saw nothing. It looked like the femme had escaped the same predicament as Clove, and that made things a little awkward.

Then she heard Asimov call from the top of the stairs, and Clove’s eyes bulged as she listened to her half-sibling stutter and then promptly collapse. What he had said was telling - ‘where’s Asimov?’. She wasn’t alone in her situation after all.

And then came Scarlet, red fur a blur as she bombed down the stairs towards Clove. The hellhound helped and skittered down the last few steps so she could stand on the marble floor, crouched defensively as the larger animals began to gather. Barely a second had passed before Batterychicken came rolling down the stairs as if his legs weren’t working, finally landing in a messy heap beside Clove. The girl clasped a small paw to her face in exasperation, and let out a groan; it hadn’t taken long for things to get out of control.

And then Scarlet - or whoever was within her body - launched herself towards Doppio, the next person to arrive on the scene. This was just ridiculous.

“Stop it! Everyone needs to calm down!” shrieked the pup, but her voice was too faint to be heard above the two foxes’ snarls. They continued to pummel one another as Wavepool arrived, and at that point, Clove gave up. This wasn’t going anywhere until everyone got the shock out of their systems.

Her own body hadn’t walked in yet, so that was a bit worrying. Where was it exactly? Seating herself down in the middle of the chaos and beginning to lick her paws, Clove decided that waiting for the disorder to blow over was her best option. She jumped in surprise as Breakout’s roar cut above the voices, and turned to peer up the staircase to where the Godfather was standing. Was it still him in there?

Helios, he looked massive now. Her attention was shifted as Batterychicken ordered everyone out, and with a sigh, Clove rose to her paws and began to patter out of the foyer and into the morning sun. Perhaps it was for the best she hadn’t witnessed Asimov, in Rue’s body, kissing Wavepool, in Asimov’s body. Things were already weird enough.

  • • • • An angry growl escapes the fox's lips, his lips pulling up into a snarl. He should have killed Battery at the border when he found him. He should have ripped his throat out and left him buried in his trash, though the idea of biting into his mangy skin made him want to gag. The happy and friendly fox that Doppio usually was is gone, replaced with a furious feral creature. Diavolo was usually around to calm him down or front the body when he got this angry, but not now.

He almost did bite into the other's flesh, but he still had enough in his head to remember that Battery was in his body. If he attacked him in his body, then he would have to suffer the consequences later when they switched their bodies back. "Make me smell like shit and I'll beat you to a fucking pulp." Maybe not now, but he could once they were back in their bodies.

A snarl escapes his lips when his ear is tugged on, but he freezes when he hears Breakout's voice. For a moment he snaps out of it, lifting his head to see the leader. Then, he is kicked by Battery and their position is flipped. A yelp escapes his throat when he is suddenly met with the floor. He immediately starts thrashing, all paws and teeth and angry, almost like he was rabid. He did not enjoy being pinned down.

With all this chaos and everything she flinched a bit, she glared at Wavepool "I-it is not--" her head snapped back towards where Doppio and Battery was and she awkwardly trotted over them before she placed her paw in front of her to prevent them from fighting only to shoot water at them both "STOP FIGHTING IN MY BODY WHOEVER THAT IS!" she shouted at both of them. She was still panicked and uncomfortable but she was mad, real mad because that was her body and if there was damage on it she was not going to be happy and not only that if the water had landed on both her body and doppio's that mean she would have to come back to wet fur and she was not okay with that. Anger rolled in the eyes that were normally that of Wavepool, she hoped they figure this out quickly because by god Scarlet would not want to spend another minute in this body and she was afraid something bad would happen that both fighting would regret.

  • Battery could almost feel the rage that rolled off Doppio. It was almost like he'd gone rabid with anger. It gave him sick satisfaction that he was able to wind up Doppio so much the other seemed to be losing his mind. He got off on the power trip his newfound possession of Doppio's body gave him and how it maddened Doppio with anger.

"Oh yeah? You're gonna beat yourself up?" Battery continued to taunt, with a flood of hyena-like laughs. Vaguely he registered a booming command for everyone to go outside, but he ignored it. Battery was a little too preoccupied with the trashing mad man beneath him, trying to avoid the snapping sets of teeth aimed at him.

Suddenly, he felt a shockingly cold slap of water against his side. It knocked him off of Doppio and he skidded across the floor. With a sinking, horrid realisation, he noticed that his pink pelt was soaking wet. Fear clogged at his throat, so he was unable to snarl out at whoever had shot him with water.

All he could think of was to get himself dirty. With extreme urgency, Batterychicken leapt up and dashed outside. While the others started to line up, he scrambled off the porch and onto the earth. Wasting no time, he dropped onto the ground, beginning to roll around in a patch of mud. It stuck to his pink coat rather well, as he was sopping wet, turning him into more of a brown looking creature. He didn't even think about how satisfying it would be to see Doppio even more enraged at his body being dunked in mud, no, he was too busy with trying to rid himself of the squeaky clean pink coat.

  • • • • Another yelp escapes him when he is suddenly sprayed with more water. He squirms away from Batterychicken, shivering from the cold water sticking to his pelt. He looks over at Wavepool. Ah- that might actually Scarlet. His eyes widen. "R-right. Sorry." He says, his ears pinned down to the back of his head. For a moment, he actually considers ignoring Battery for now.

Until he rushes outside and straight into the mud.

"NO-! YOU FUCKING- STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!" Doppio screeches, immediately running after him. He sees him rolling around in the mud. Doppio growls, but eventually just sighs. He’ll just wash himself up after all of this is over. Still, he hated that Battery was getting away with ruining his coat.

She watches as the events take place, her ears swerving to flatten upon her skull as Battery-who was in Doppio's body ran into the mud, she felt bad now, she just wanted to stop the fighting and her gaze flicked to look over at Doppio, who she didn't realize was in her body and she was about to say she was sorry for splashing them with water when, all of a sudden he rushed after Battery which made her squeak and wobbly follow after them, flinching a bit at the awkward feeling of being made out of water. She hated this, and it was just...so bad...how did Wavepool deal with this. Luckily though, Doppio paused and decided not to go after them which made her relax a bit and she sighed a bit "D-doppio is that you?" she asked them nervously. Well, of course, why else would they go after whoever was in their own body, rolling in the mud. She hoped they could get back in after the fur was dried as Scarlet wasn't sure how she would feel about being in a sopping wet body.
