    Sarah gently took the Oreo between her lips and took a bite before holding it “deal..but if I have to run away. To protect Kira. I will”she put the Oreo down since she wasn’t hungry. “I..I’m still really sorry for running away before..”

    "Ah, dont mention it, you came back." Alexei said with understanding. There was no bone in his body that mad at Sarah, he simply wanted to love her. "Is it time to sleep for us too?" He asks, the dark bags under his eyes seemingly having gotten worse since the day before.

    Sarah gently got off him before taking his hand and led him to their room “it’s defiantly time for rest love”she changed into some shorts and vest and got into bed with a yawn “well figure this out eventually yea lex? Then we can be a normal family”she sighed gently before falling asleep.

    Alexei nodded and followed Sarah to bed, still wearing his shirt and jeans as he laid on his stomach. Alexei was awake for an hour, thinking for a while before falling asleep with her.


    The next morning, he woke up to an empty bed, causing him to groan and roll over. Was it all some lucid dream? What was going on.

    Sarah was out in the yard with Kira. She sat on the grass as Kira played with a ball. Sarah had been woken up by Kira who had a bad dream about Helena. So she was half awake watching her with lazy eyes as she relaxed more.


    Eventually she came inside and Kira rushed to Alex and got in bed with him “morning dad”she hummed gently “mums making us breakfast”

    Alexei hugged his daughter, smiling softly as he woke up. "Hello, dear." He murmured, still hf asleep. "Howd you sleep?" The. ew father further inquired, fully invested in his daughters health.

    Kira hummed and hugged back some "I slept ok..I had this dream that some man hurt Aunty Helena though.."She huffed some and closed her eyes. Sarah was just finishing breakfast when she saw a red pickup pull up. Instantly she knew who it was so she opened the door to see her mother. "Sarah dear. You call this hiding?"Her Irish accent asked some with a raised brow. Sarah simply sighed "I should of known.."She walked back to the kitchen with a sigh.

    Alexei didnt know who the truck belonged to, so he came into the hallway with his handgun after Kira had spoken. "Hi, might you tell me your name, preferably before I fill you with bullets." He threatened, ready to engage at any given moment

    Siobhan raised her hands slightly before looking to Sarah as if to question why another man was around her after she had met Paul. "Siobhan sadler.."She replied. Kira peeked from behind her dads legs before smiling "Mrs.s!"She said before rushing to the woman and Siobhan hugged her gently "Oh hello chicken.."She beamed. Sarah gently took Lex's hand with a sigh "She tracked me.."She whispered since she knew if her mother could do it, they could.

    "well, thats nice. Mrs. S, I'm Lial." He said, giving only his last name for the time being. Looking to Sarah, he nodded once, knowing what she meant. "Close the door. Thats an extra line of sight I don't want us to be exposed to." Alexei stated,.holstering his handgun

    Sarah nodded some and shut the door before sighing gently. “How about me and Kira go on a little exploration with me. And you two can uh. Compare Irish whiskey”she replied and mrs.s caught on “I think you’d have a nice time. Is that ok with you lial?”she wondered gently.

    "Yeah, sure. Sounds nice." Alexei said and got out a bottle of said alcohol. "So, Mrs. S, is it? You're Sarah's mother?" He asks, pouring a glass for himself, preferring it neat. After he did so, he poured one for her, the same as his.

    Sarah took mrs a truck and left with her and Siobhan noticed “foster mother.”she replied “and your kiras dad it seems.”she hummed “I got some files on you from an insider..quite impressive. I’d thank ya for covering her tracks but then again. We don’t have time for that”she sipped her drink “what’s the plan?”she asked some. “I need to know that if anything happens you have a plan to keep Kira out of this” she was straight to the point. It was clear to see where Sarah got her strength from.

    "Alexei Lial. Yes, I'm Kira's father, and Sarah's... boyfriend? There's no labels." He said and nodded. "My plan is to go to the mafia houses, then work my way into the black, all the while killing whoever they send. So, basically, its just the usual." Alexei answered, sipping the whiskey.

    “Mafia”she sighed “I have a pipeline. The birdwatchers have a safe house. Then I can get on a flight with Kira to the uk if needed..”she bit her lip “Sarah asked me to track down Ethan Duncan. The professor who helped create this..she wants to find awnsers for her sisters. You can’t expect her to live a quiet life while you kill intruders.”she wasn’t judging him mostly giving him advice. “She’s going to kick and scream till they are burnt down. And her sisters are safe and cured”

    "Okay, well, I didn't plan on Sarah coming back. I planned on fighting a solo guerilla war. So any help is appreciated." Alexei said simply and nodded. "Id appreciate the help, so you can have free reign."

    “I just think we all need to be in this. It’s a huge company against us. Don’t tell sarah...but. Dyad. There was a bunch of European clones. It’s called Helsinki. They hired a cleaner to eliminate them all because they became self aware and wanted to rebel.”she handed over a folder. Photos of dead bodies scattered around. “Twenty three project Leda clones.”she breathed “twenty three of my Sarah’s”she bit her lip “I need you to promise me that I’ll be kept in the loop. Whatever happens. If they find you. I need to know so kira can be taken away from it”she was being deadly serious.

    "youre not just in the loop, you are the loop." Alexei said simply. "What is it you know about me?" He asks, needing to know what it known. "As soon as anything happens, I'll get Kira to you. I dont want to lose my daughter."

    She raised a brow when he said she was the loop she breathed out “good well I’m more of a firewall”she joked and looked at him “I know that for six years you’ve been awol and on Sarah’s tracks.”she replied “my mole tells me that you’ve killed several dyad retrieval agents. And that’s why I’m glad your kiras father”she smiled finally “that’s a man in love if I’ve seen one. And for Sarah to come back..seems you two aren’t going to be apart anytime soon”
