Veronica nodded slightly, glancing to their hands.

Shane did also blushing. He held her hand firmly as he was walking with her.

Veronica smiled shyly as she looked to him, she wasn’t sure she would have ever been able to confess her feelings to him if he hadn’t kissed her first.

Shane had no plans as he was just happy to he there with her.

Veronica didn't mind, she was just happy to be there with him too. The only plan she wanted was the one she'd have to come up with to get out of her engagement.

Shane just was happy to be there with her and would figure out how to free her from that engagement.

Veronica bit her lip but she leaned over to kiss his cheek gently. “I would like to sneak out to be with you more.” She admitted.

Shane nodded and smiled some as he looked around. "Same here."

Veronica lit up with delight and walked happily at his side.

Shane was enjoying his time with her surprised nobody said nothing about the two of them holding hands.

Veronica didn’t care what anyone thought as long as they didn’t tell Logan.

Shane was enjoying himself as he soon went to buy her some ice cream. It was when he was gone someone walked over to Veronica. "I thought you were with your boyfriend Logan?"

“What? No, I wanted to hang out with one of my friends.” Veronica told them vaguely, hoping they hadn’t seen her holding hands with Shane. Logan couldn’t know until they were broken up.

The person raised a eyebrow and crossed their hands. "Then who is the one Logan is trying to hang out with in your room hmm? You said you had to study and locked yourself in your room."

“I left when he gave up.” Veronica gave the excuse.

The student glared and shrugged. "Whatever. Guess Logan will just be lonely." And they left as Shane walked up blinking.

Veronica scowled at the student, only speaking when she knew they couldn’t hear her. “As if I care.”

Shane smirked some and handed her a ice cream cone. "Well its whatever to me. I could take Logan down if I wanted to."

Veronica’s cheeks warmed gently but she smiled as she took the ice cream. “Thank you...” she murmured.
