  • cottonkit was feeling rather bored, which was hardly anything new for an energetic kitten who was forced to remain in a confined space 24/7. the small bubble of the windclan camp was far too cramped, trapping down the part of her that desperately ached to see the same endless moors she had stumbled upon when she first arrived. as time passed the memories of having the freedom to go where she wanted were fading away, but the longing still remained.

the child wanted to go explore someplace that was beyond the walls of the camp, and she had an (supposedly) smart, fool-proof plan to break her out. "howdy, lilypetal!" the kit snuck up on the warrior, throwing her legs over the cat's side and grinning widely up at her. "sorry i messed up yer feathers the other day," she pouted, feigning guilt and blinking her mismatched eyes in a way that would make anyone melt. then she quickly moved on and eagerly asked, "take me outside of camp? please?"

Cottonkit - she had frustrated Lilypetal a little when she had messed up her perfectly placed feathers during the race, but she was adorable, and Lilypetal had already long forgiven her. There had been no need for an apology, and yet, here the child was, blinking her eyes in the cutest way possible. "Aaaaawwww Cottonkit, it's okay! You didn't know that the feathers were-" she cut off upon hearing Cottonkit's question. The smart little rat! Lilypetal thought to herself, immediately looking away from the adorable kitten. Man, she was so cute, Lilypetal just wanted to squeeze her cheeks and cuddle her forever and ever... but she was deceptive, that was for sure!

"You're smart," the cream point admitted, glancing briefly at Cottonkit and her adorable, heart melting face. She could get away with murder with that face, no questions asked. Lilypetal knew that there were WindClanners with an even softer heart than hers, who would have already given in to the cunning child's question. Lilypetal herself knew it was only a matter of time before she gave in to Cottonkit too - she was sure she could look after her, she was just one kit! But she wasn't going to give in quite yet. Hopefully if she refused her once, it would be enough to get Cottonkit to go away. Here's to hoping. "But that's not gonna fool me, you cute ball of fluff! No way you're leaving the camp!" Her voice shook slightly as she spoke, her resolve already starting to crumble, and she shut her eyes tight, trying her best to not even catch a glimpse of the adorable child and her puppy dog eyes.

    "Listen to me..."
