    "I think brutality is enough for me.."She offered a small smile "I'll be with the army then, see if I need to address somethings."She ate what she could before leaving. She wished that Gabriel would be able to be her full time guard and not her husbands one since he was full of magic like Jonah. But she couldn't complain, little did she know she was already pregnant.


    After a few weeks of being content with her marriage the queen got sick. She woke up in the morning and puked only for the maid to get her the healer. "It seems you are with child."He announced as he felt her stomach. "Congratulations."He bowed before leaving. Anna was in some shock, she had wished for more time than a month or two to prepare. She got dressed and headed down to breakfast silently not looking at anyone.

    Gabriel was in the dinning hall, standing in his spot as he waited for the queen to arrive. Today was a more relaxed day for the guard so he managed to be able to get away to see her for a bit. However as she came in the look on her face made him grow concerened...


    As Anna and Joanh ate brakfast together, bith Gabriel and Markus (the german guard) stoos side by side the room felt a bit tense,

    "Anna whats the matter?"


    Joanh questioned as he leaned back in his chair slightly

    Anna breathed some as she ate very little since she still felt sick she glanced at him and bit her lip. She had no idea how he would react. So she was a little tense. “I just found out this morning”she started as she glanced at him again “I’m with child..”


    she had hope that he would think positively since if they had a son their kingdom would be strong. But at the same time she knew this meant her life was lockdowned. She couldn’t change paths now. She was pregnant and married. And now she was stuck in a marriage we’re her husband didn’t love her deeply.

    Joanh took no mind to the announcement, he was actually very casual when told,

    "It was suspected. Go rest for the day, ill take over the schedule"


    He said simply as he stood up and streched.


    Gabriel however felt like a bull just ran him down, she was pregnant... with his child. And he didnt seem to care!! Containing himself for the time being he looked to her, and waited to see were she would go

    When he didn’t seem bothered she stood up and went to her private chambers. She was upset fo course and the hormones didn’t help. So she got in bed and hid her face in the pillow to cry it out. She should of expected this yet it still hurt her deep. She always tried to see the good in people and yet all she got was hurt.

    Gabriel followed her to her room and watxhed her go inside. Giving her a secons to heraelf before knocking on the door, he came inside,

    "Anna..."


    He whsipered softly as he came ina nd shut the door behind him, walking to her ans sitting down beside her on the bed,

    "Hey talk to me..."


    Speaking quietly as he glanced back to the door for a moment before baxk at her

    Anna breathed when he came in she dhoook her head some “it’d judt all my emotions at once..”she knew she was weak right now and crying probably want good for the child. “I thought I could see good and I was wrong. It’s going to be boring. “She sniffled and wiped her face “I’m doomed to it forever”


    She rubbed her face some more as tears streamed down some more "Now that Im with child..hes going to take charge of everything and tell me to rest."She scoffed some as the maid came in with hot milk "Please..you need to stay calm.."She glanced at Gabriel with worry. "You may be distressed with his reaction but at least it wasn't a bad one.."She tried to soothe her and Anna sighed "Thats true.."

    Gabriel frowned as he watxhed her, looking over to the maid as she handed her the glass of milk. This was insane and he had a gut feelin that it was only going to get worse fron here on out. Joanh wasnt going to allow her to be out and about as normal, now he had a reason to keep her in door so he could start rearranging this whole kingdom and mess with its rules!


    He was quiet for a long while before looking to her stomach, he hadnt much time before this kid would get here and he needed to get to the strength to defend them both,

    "Anna everything going to be okay... we will figure this out"


    He tried to reassure her even though at this point it all seemed useless

    For a month or two Anna managed to still do her duties. But trouble was rising. France were threatening war. Now with a growing bump it was harder for Anna to defend herself walking around. The stress of war was another good reason for her to not be involved.


    Although little did Jonah know he was pushing her into Gabriel’s arms more. She woke up with a huff to see a doctor examining her. “Am I okay?”she asked and the doctor nodded “your husband has ordered I check on you and the child every week. Said it’s tradition in Germany.”he replied and soon Anna grew concerned. She let the doctor leave before sighing gently.

    Gabriel walked in just as the doctor left and sighed as he walked over to her. He had been doing alot of extra training, so of it bwing with an older resident of the village out in the field. The man that was attempting to teain Gabriel use to be apart of the royal court before Annas dad had become kind many, many years ago. He was trained in dark arts and blood magic. None of which were even legal anymore but Gabriel conviced him that if he didnt learn how to do this then the kingdom was to fall...

    "How are you feeling?"


    He questioned her, his dark circles sticking out on his face and the amount of bruises and blisters on his handa an arms showed since he wasnt wearin the armor much anymore

    Anna had no clue, she was half awake when he came in and she noticed how bad he looked "Oh Gabriel..you haven't been over doing it have you?"She could see how he was now, despite her own situation. She pulled the covers up some more to hide it as if she was ashamed that Gabriel wasn't the father. "I've had his guard follow me around..demanding I rest.."She rana hand through her combed long hair, it wasn't styled since she just woke up. "I just need to know whats been happening..Jonah tells me nothing..but his guard keeps looking at my belly as if im carrying pure gold.."


    She breathed some "I don't feel good Im sorry to offload onto you..but this child..it wont be normal.."She knew that if Jonah increased the doctor visits then something was up, and it was Jonahs rare gift.

    Gabriel shook his head a bit and smiled,

    "Its going to be okay... im going to make sure everything goes back to how it should be..."


    He said softly as he looked at her. His bosy wasnt reacting that greatly to the dark magic, seeing that it was more along the lines of giving up your soul for that type of power but it was a process and not an easy one at that. If not carful Gabriel could die, his will had to be stronger than most to be ablw to even contain the powers themselves

    When all he did was say that in response she scoffed “just get out I’d rather be alone”her hormones were all over the place. She never felt more isolated.


    Eventually the day came when Annabelle went into labour. It was a long process for her to endure. She woke in the middle of the night and by the next night she had given birth to a son. She lay exhausted as a maid swaddled him and lay him beside her. “Well done your majesty”she smiled before leaving to ring the bell to say it was over.
    when news spread the castle fired emitted blue smoke so the kingdom would also know.

    Once all was said and done Joanh came in to see her. Grinning big as he saw his son,

    "You did good Annabelle"


    He chuckled softly before picking up the baby and starting to look him off,

    "He looks like you"


    Joanh hummed softly as he unwrapped the child to see if he beared any markings but so far seeing none,

    "Those will show with time..."


    He whispered before wrapping the baby back up and glancing over at her,

    "What did you name him"

    Annabelle breathed gently as she stayed calm “Vincent”she replied at the name. She was surprised to have a son but the fact she conceived quickly and had him was a good sign.


    “Markings like yours?”she asked quietly as she thought over it. He would be trained like Jonah. That scared her some since she knew Gabriel was going through it incase something went wrong.


    “It seems we were lucky. A son first..”she breathed out some “the doctor said I need two weeks rest before I can go back to my duties”she knew that Jonah wouldn’t want that. When there was a war with France on the horizon.
    Vince was half awake but gurgled some at being moved around.

    Joanh didnt answer her question as he continued to stare down at his son, a blank expression coming over him before glaring over at the door to see Gabriel coming inside,

    "Hmm..."


    He scowled as the two met eyes, the room feeling very heavy for a moment,

    "I thought you were training the guard..."


    Joanh questioned,

    "No actual, Markus is at the moment. I camw to just on the queen... you know doing my job?"


    He bit back. The two keeping eye contact for a moment longer before Joanh set the baby back down with Anna and left without another word. Gabriel sighed as he held his chest for second before walking over to her. His skin slightly pale and the injures still literring his body, some of them bwing more fresh than others,

    "How are you feeling?"


    He questioned as he slwoly sat down beside her and smiled as he looked down at the baby

    Anna noticed how quiet he seemed and she breathed "Hes content..I think hes going to try to invade France..ruining all my fathers work."She sighed as she got more comfy and held her son close to her chest "Im relieved its over..it was longer than I imagined.."She scoffed "But meet Vincent..hes perfectly fine.."She was in love with him. She hadn't expected it after all the time she spent in agony and dealing with changes. But to have him..she wouldn't let anything bad happen to him.

    "You look worse than before."She whispered as Maria came in and tended to the room.


    Being her most loyal maid she saw Gabriel and bit her lip "Your sure this blood magic wont kill you?"She cared for him as a friend, she knew of the love he had for his princess. So she had promised to keep an eye on the queen when he couldn't. "I'll patch you up later."She hummed before seeing the baby "Will you care for him or will you have a wet nurse?"She asked as Anna let her hold him. "Both..the sooner I get to work the better. I just hope I don't fall with child again..thats the only way Jonah can keep me away from my duty.."She sighed gently "But I wont let him belong to the crown..hes my son. He will know me and know love.."

    Gabriel glanced over to the maid and shook his head,

    "It wont kill me if i dont let it..."


    He sighed before leaning agiant the headboard beside the queen,

    "Hes not going to let you go back to work Anna... him and markus talk about it often... hes already changed so much and has been doing a very good job to keep me busy and away from you... hes changed the training and the events, all of it is off now..."


    He informed her, his eyes shifting from several colors as he spoke,

    "Hes going to make sure that you have little to no say in almost everything..."


    He mumbled before shutting his eyes a bit, squeezing them as black markinga traveling up his neck a bit before suddwnly disappearing. Opening his eyes again he looked iver at the baby,

    "But besides all the bad news... hes beautiful"


    Gabriel said softly as he looked onto the child, the baby stare right back at him and cooing softly

    Anna sighed at the news “but he can’t. When I’m back The board will listen to me over him..”she breathed and the maid sighed “unless he takes you to bed. And you fall with child again..”she hummed and saw Gabriel’s eyes change “we need to get Gabriel stronger to defend you..”


    Anna sighed as she rubbed Vincent’s back. “hes beautiful..but..”she sighed gently “I can’t have Jonah ruling. I either put him for magic. And my son gets punished. Or I catch him with a woman. And he gets executed. There’s no way I can leave this marriage”Anna sighed gently.

    Gabriel frowned as he listened to her,

    "Or treason happens umong the kingdom and aomwbody kurders the king... it will leave you widowed but free along side with your child..."


    He said quietly as he looked to her,

    "Nobody will think that you involved since on the outside you two have happy marriage... it would work Anna..."


    He said softly as he looked to the baby
