    Maria listened and she could tell how stressed he was. She breathed some “I can keep her safe and oblivious. I can’t guarantee that about this unborn child. I mean she fully collapsed. She’s not even six months along”she sighed gently and tried to keep calm.


    “Jonahs starting to suspect me too..but Anna’s keeping me safe somewhat. I think she’s still fighting it..”she wanted him to have hope. “They may have her mind but not her heart”she bit her lip “I’ll see you..just don’t die..your her only hope”


    she went up to the castle and stayed in the chamber. Anna was fast asleep most of the day. She was only awoken to eat dinner.
    “Maria..do you think I’m a good mother?”she asked quietly as she watched Vincent sleep. “Your more hands on than other queens my lady..”


    “Jonah says I’m good..”Anna hummed “but two kids might be a challenge”she rubbed her stomach before she thought she heard a noise. Maria hummed “Jonah has arranged a tournament tonight to celebrate. The men are fighting rather furiously in hopes of a girl”she lied.

    Gabriel had made his mark as the night camw closer, hoping that Maria could keeo her busy he lwt the village know that it was time. Making his way into the castle be was suddenly snatched from behind and throqn against the wall, it was markus,

    "How did you get back in here"


    He growled but only to be shocked as Gabriel disappeared into the wall,

    "What the! How did you... there bo way you could have survived that!"


    He yelled as hw punched a massive hoke in the wall in attempts to find him. Just then Gabriel reappeared behind markus, wrapping his around around his neck and covering his mouth as he had to be sure he was somwhat quiet,

    "Becuase you two have threatened my home, kicked me out, and made my princess see me as the threat... i survived off of the pure hatred and pain i let build within me and now im taming my home back..."


    He whisperwd in markus ear before a evil grin camw to Gabriel's features. His shadow creatures coming from the hand that covered Markus moyth and them flowing inside of him. Gabriel carfull to muffle his screamed as the creatures devoured him from the inside out bwfore he was finally just an empty shell,

    "Maria... markus is down, has she changed any?"


    He questioned as he made his voice travel to her, only Maria able to hear him speak

    Maria and Anna were mid conversation when Anna seemed to freeze. She frowned some and held her head “oh...oh god it hurts..”Anna breathed and Maria frowned “what hurts?”she asked gently. “My head..I..it’s pounding”Anna breathed and Maria rang a bell for the doctor to come in.


    Maria heard his voice and breathed “it seems to be working..her head hurts but the doctors here..I just hope it hasn’t alerted Jonah” she replied as the doctor gave Anna some meds “drink quickly. It will stop the pain”he advised as Anna drank what she could. Maria took hold of Vincent to make sure he was safe.

    Gabriel nodded slightly before disappearing again, off on his way to hunt down Joanh before he figured out what was truley going on,

    "Just keep me updated to be sure shes okay..."


    He whispered to Maria before heading to the garden to find Joanh and at least twenty other guards. Gabriel stepped out openly as they glared at one another,

    "Gabriel.... you look different... was she really worth selling your soul over?"


    He questioned as he crossed his arms over his chest,

    "Shes worth more Joanh... if you wouldnt have treated her like scum you would know this..."


    Gabriel snipped back as began to walk toward him,

    "But it doesnt matter now does it? I wont my home back and my princess happy"


    He growled as his shower creatures formed his own littlw army behind him, Joanh backing up slightly as he began to relized the situarion at hand,

    "Wow Gabriel... you really arw just the royal dog arent you?"


    Joanh growled before waving his hand in the air, sending the guards charging toward them, Gabriel disappearing and reappeared infront of Joanh, the battle getting more harsh ad the seconds went by. Joanh hwaling abilities keeping up with every hit Gabriel through at him but he could tell he was getting tired, they both were. Magic was easy to use in large quantities and was very difficult on the mind and body,

    "Maria how is anna??"


    Gabriel questioned the maid as he fought Joanh, tryin his best to get him down

    Maria breathed as she saw Anna fell worse, she looked to the doctor "Shes under a spell..if we don't do something it will hurt her more.."She urged and the doctor sighed "I can try my best.."He started to inject her with things as Anna soon went lifeless, the sedatives worked in her blood. "Shes been sedated...she should sleep through..whatever you are doing to Jonah is affecting her..shes in pain but..maybe thats just the spell.."She reported back.


    Anna was dreaming again, she walked down the castle halls and into the garden where she saw Gabriel, before all this happened. She took hold of his hand and smiled "Im here again..Im safe like you asked..you just need to fight this and then its all over.."She whispered gently. "We can be together...we can be at peace with France.."She hummed.

    Gabriel felt alittle relieved from Maria's report but worried all the same. It however hmgave him mroe motivation to get this guy out of their lives. Grabbing ahold of Joanh he pinned him down to the ground, putting his hand to the other mans chest before purple and black smoke began to emit from it, forcing Joanh to scream out in pain,

    "S-stop! You dont understand what your getting yourself into!"


    Joanh tried to talk with Gabriel but to no avail no his end,

    "Those kids, they will never be yours! The power they will contain will destory not only you but her as well! You dont understand what your getting yourself into!"


    Gabriel looked at him slightly, before leaning down, blood streaming down his face as he felt his whole body shaking,

    "Those kids will be fine under my wing... i will teach them to control their abilities and all will be fine... you are no longer going to be in the picture Joanh... im taking what was supposed to be mine in the first place back"


    He hissed before everything went black. The sky exploded with purple and black clouds and for a while there the whole city was in darkness. Then as the clouds faded away, jonah's body disagrated under the pure force of what had just happened and Gabriel stood in the stop he had been in before,

    "Maria... its done"


    He mumbled before falling backward and eventually passing out

    Anna would wake only a week after the events. She breathed some as she woke to her old chambers. She had gotten it all out of her system, but her body still ached. She breathed and sat up "What...what on earth.."She felt so lost like she had no clue what had happened.


    Maria rushed to her side "My lady..Jonah was executed for treason.."She replied and Anna frowned "What happened?"She asked even more scared now as Maria filled her in. It seemed the spell had been in the works the moment they had threatened her with Vince.


    Anna stood up "Wheres Gabriel?"She asked and Maria sighed "Medic bay..hes..hes healing."She said but it didn't stop her from going to the medic bay. Seeing her own stomach she then only realized she was pregnant again. It was like she was on auto pilot the entire time. She went to his room and straight to his bedside with a sigh.

    Gabriel laid in bed, his breath low but he seemed healthy, a small little shadow mouse was sitting on his chest when Anna came to be beside him,

    "Anna! Its good to see you awake!"


    The small mouse squeeked at her before looking to Gabriel,

    "The battle was very hard on his body, used alot to get him gone but he should be up soon. How are you feeling?"


    The shadow questioned as he walked over to the edge of the bed to be a bit closer to her, putting its tiny paw on her belly

    Anna breathed still a little shocked about the shadow creature and she sat down and bit her lip "I..guess..still rather sleepy and achy but good.."She frooze at the thing touching her belly and she breathed out "I..I had no clue. I guess whatever they did was so powerful I was on auto.."She rubbed her face and took Gabriel's hand in hers "He'll be fine.."She sighed gently as she thought over it "I..I need to talk to my people..I need to fix everything"She was a little overwhelmed.

    The mouse frowned slightly as she watched her,

    "My lady please dont stress over it to much, the people are the ones that helped Gabriel ao he could get things fixed. They know you are resting and are patiently waiting for you, so please no rush"


    The mouse said softly before it suddenly disappeared, Gabriel eyes opening quickly and him looked around the room as he sat up,

    "What..."


    He stopped and took in a deep breath before he realized he was awake finally, but he felt somebody holding his hand. Looking iver to see Anna was almost like a blessing,

    "Anna..."


    Gabriel pulled his hand from hers carfully before hugging her, being gentle to not press on ehr stomach as he did so

    Anna hurriedly hugged him to her as she started to cry "You..you stupid man.."She breathed "I can't believe you did that all for me.."She buried her head in his neck as she tried to stay calm "I..I had no idea what happened."She sighed some before pulling away "You can't go back to normal can you..now that you've done this.."


    "Are you going to be ok?"She wondered "I don't need to worry about you dying on me?"She made sure as her green eyes scanned him "Also..that shadow mouse..I need to get used to it talking "She joked some afterwards.

    Gabriel smiled slightly as she spoke,

    "Ill be fine Anna and as for the mouse ive decided to name her Kat. Shes my voice when im unable to speak, but do let her fool you, shes an ass"


    He laughed a he before letting out a lobg breath, just so glad it was over,

    "How are you feelin? Hows the kids? I know maria should have Vincent right now since your here"


    He said as he tossed the blankets off of him and sat at the edge of the bed, yawn in ng slightly as he shook his head

    Anna sighed gently when he spoke of Kat, she decided to nod for now since she was still in shock. "I..I don't know. I saw you first..Vincent was fine before I passed out. And my baby.."She felt a bit foolish now but knew that she was under his spell so she hadn't wanted another child with him. "I think its okay.."She sighed "But then again I just hope I get through this and they are healthy.."

    Gabriel watched her for a moment, seeing the expression on her face and slowly reaching over and grabbing her hand,

    "You and the kids will be fine"


    He said softly as he slwoly got to his feet,

    "Lwts go see vincent and then we can talk about the kingdom? Sound good?"


    Gabriel asked soflty as he gently cupped her cheek, offering a small smile to her before looking over toward the door, a guard standing and greeting them,

    "Your majesty, we are glad to see you are well. As well as you Gabriel, nice to have you back. I was told to come check on yall to be sure you were in good health"


    The guard with a small smile before giving a nod and walking away

    Anna slowly stood up and nodded "Sounds like a plan"She breathed as she tried to keep focused but she was still a little weak and perplexed. She walked with him to the nursery to see Maria with him, Maria chuckled and hugged them both before leaving. Anna smiled seeing him "Hello monkey"She gently picked him up and rocked with him "Oh how I've missed you my little prince."She pecked his head a few times.

    Gabriel smiled as she watched the two, walking iver to the window and leaning his back to it,

    "Now, when your rested wouls you like me to set up a town meeting?"


    He questioned as he lwt out another yawn

    Anna hummed "We will tomorrow."She decided.


    The next day she sat in the meeting hall and watched all the townsfolk that helped run her country. She sighed gently "I first of all wish to end this thing with France...invite the king over for peace talks.."She hummed "And whatever Jonah has passed with my permission.undo..I will fix whatever has been forgotten once the main boulder has been removed."She wathed them all walk around and passing documents around before she sighed. She was about to risk it all.


    "I wish to Marry..and I will not be marrying for power or gain. But for love."She declared "The kingdom needs love just as much as I do, when the time comes...when I am bethrothed again. You will all be happy for me."She stood up and walked out now that she had said her peace. She walked to her room to relax and spend time with Vincent.

    Gabriel was back in his armor once again, standing by her side as he had missed doing before she called the meeting to an end. Upon her last statement, he noticed the whispers, some bad, some happy for her decision, it would just have to be watched as the time pressed forward.


    Following his queen to her room, watching her as she sat down and pulled vincent out of his cot he coulsnt help but smile,

    "Your a good leader, you know that right?"


    He said softly as he looked out the window to a now peaceful town

    Anna watched him and could tell he was happier with being her guard again, she liked it when he was happy. "I never got the chance to be a leader..Jonah made sure of that"She smiled gently as Vincent opened his eyes and they were red. "Oh gosh.."She breathed some a little scared as Vince started to cry as he felt really warm. Anna had to hand him over before the boy burst into a red tangy flame.

    Gabriel took the baby and gently laid him against his chest and he back to walk around the room, soothing the angry child,

    "Yeah, but now evwrytbinga up to you. You may have to fix alot of stuff but at least we'll be at peace again"


    He said as he casually stolled around the room with the flaming child
