I SEE NO ONE LIKE ME —
A gentle breeze blew in the air, his fur moving along in the wind. The Yawning Grotto, that was where he was headed. His home was experiencing pain, and he decided he was going to visit the Yawning Grotto. He head heard that this was the place where you should go to interact directly with the great spirit, Naleren. It was high up on a cliff, which made him nervous, as he broke his leg falling off a mountain before, but even if it killed him, he was going to go deliver a prayer. Against a side was a leather bag, inside was a few different flowers, non medical of course, and a few different trinkets he had available. A necklace and some sort of band that would go on the head. They weren't anything fancy, but he would still offer them. He was going to offer anything he had for his home, as he couldn't do much else. Once he reached the cliff where the Yawning Grotto laid, he entered the series of caves. Above his head stalactites hung, clinging onto the ceiling, rocky streams were under foot, leading deeper into the mountain. He didn't go too far in, but he went far enough that the entrance was but a light in the distance, where he settled down onto his stomach, eyes closed and snout touching the cold cave floor. Please, Naleren, I beg you, please hear my prayer, he thought to himself. "Great spirit Naleren, please accept these gifts I bring for you," he said in a low voice as flowers gently floated out of his bag, and were gently placed in front of his snout, the same with the trinkets he brought with him. He continued his prayer. "The people I care for, the people that are where I live are... suffering. It is like a darkness is here for us, that we can't escape from. I ask for your guidance, as I don't know what to do. I can't help them, and I can't do anything for them besides watch them suffer and get injured day in and day out," he said in a shaky voice, and breathed out. Once he finished with his prayers, he got up, dipped his head, and left, leaving his offering inside the cave for Naleren. His paws padded down the cliff-side as he slowly made his way back home.
