    Doctorsleep King

    — An alias associated with his Shining works, his abilities are related to death, able to see those who are dying and those who have already passed. Due to his extremely sympathetic nature, he often uses his Shining to help coax others into peacefully passing away, helping them gently fall asleep until they eventually come back to haunt him as ghosts

    — Fully known as Daniel "Danny" Anthony King, this is never a name he will address himself by. He may acknowledge his brother if this name is used, but anyone else will be ignored. Will rarely tell others this name if he completely trusts them. The name Daniel comes from Hebrew origin, din meaning to judge and el meaning "God." This means his name fully translates to "God is my judge." It's unlikely that his parents knew what this meant when naming him, despite any semblance it may have to his life now

    APPEARANCE

    — Despite his large size, Danny lacks the ability to seem threatening, and he believes this is a trait that would carry on even if he could shapeshift. Long-haired, well-groomed, and fluffy, it's not that he takes pride in his appearance but that not taking care of his appearance reminds him of worse times. He always looks clean and put together. His fur is primarily white, aside from the light beige areas on his cheeks which trail up his head towards his ears. This light beige continues onto his back, stopping and coating the entirety of his tail in the same color. If you look closely enough, around his eyes and mouth are a few patches of grey coming in due to his age. Aside from that, Danny has large, blue eyes. They're beautiful but often look beyond the people he's talking to, as if seeing something that isn't truly there. That paired with a pink nose gives him a beautiful, almost cute look. Despite how well managed he seems now, he wasn't always. Which is why he's so particular with keeping his appearance in check.

    PERSONALITY

    — Danny could simply be described as someone who is always trying to improve. His past haunts him more than he often lets on, visions of his father and mother, his alcoholism which he recovered from, among other things are his main motivators in life. He wants to be happy more than anything else, to one day settle down with a family and do better than his father ever could, but he knows that's impossible for him currently. Still plagued by ghosts, both literally and of his own past he's less put together than he appears. Anxious and depressed, he struggles with wanting security but being unable to properly obtain it. Feeling safe and loved is what he wants. Yet, he still has nightmares and tends to see things that aren't always there to the common eye, making him seem a bit eccentric and odd at times.


    Despite his rarities, he is extremely kind. He loves children, the elderly, and absolutely adores nature. Having a cause that he can motivate himself to is something he loves. Perhaps it's because he was never able to help his father, but a lot of his time is spent helping those in need. He's sympathetic at best, a pushover at worst. As anger is something that scares him. When he got drunk he was angry, his father was angry. He doesn't want feel angry anymore. Despite being sensitive and prone to negative mood swings, he won't mention if anyone hurts his feelings, nor will he seek any type of change to make himself feel better. Stability is something he needs in order to keep calm. He won't make huge risks unless someone else is in danger.


    Secretive and shy, he will never be the type to jump into a crowd and enjoy talking. He prefers to keep to himself or the company of a few others. He has issues with self doubt and can't stand being the center of attention, to the point he will change the topic to focus on someone else. Trust isn't something easily earned with him, he's been hurt more times than he can count, especially by those he loves. Not to mention he's terrified of losing the few people he devotes himself to. Still, he makes a friend like no other, as his loyalty and caring nature has no bounds.


    MISCELLANEOUS

    ✧ Powers The sight [20%], telepathy [10%], project and manipulate emotions [10%], memory manipulation [10%], and sleep spores [40%] combine into a total of 90%.

    — Considered a "Shiner." His abilities are located primarily around death and the past. He's able to see ghosts he's never met, although he's mainly haunted by people he knows, as he can also tell when someone is close to death. Due to his ability to sense when people are dying, he often uses his sleep spores to help them pass away in their sleep. Or he will simply manipulate their memories and emotions to remind them of better, kinder times. He will never use these powers offensively

    — Is haunted by the ghost of his father

    — Violence and anger is a trigger for him, both due to his father and his own past. Due to this he refuses to fight and will not join any battles or raids, nor will he ever start a fight. He will defend himself if needed be
