His brother was safe and sound asleep within the nursey so this was Mudkit's chance to slip out without having to direct his thoughts to Oleanderkit. The Havana brown poked his head out of the nursery, his green hues scanning for any signs of life but all was still in the night with only the sounds of the gentle sleeping breaths from his company within the den. He'd glance one last time towards his brother's sleeping form before making his great escape out. There was no direction for the young tom, just a sense of needing to be alone.. It was draining in a way that he had to pull a face for everyone just to appear normal. Kits were normally filled with curiosity and wonder for the world but him? There were still questions he held about things but not like a child would, his mind was empty of emotion and only thoughts consumed him as he lived his life in his head. Father gave him a code to live by, he was the only one that knew of Mudkit's disorder.. Not even his brother could know.

First part, he had to pretend. Solid brown paws took steps as if they commanded him and not the other way around, he stepped into the wide spread land of the moor- But he didn't really see it as again, he only lived inside his own head. He couldn't hesitate too long on selecting an emotion to portray or the jig would be up, he had to run a quick analysis on what everyone around him looked like before acting in the same way. There was a lot of times that he'd have a blank stare for moments at a time before conforming to his signature lopsided smile, he was seen as a chipper tom and jokester.

It would take him too long until he realized that the wide open space had been replaced with an eerie fogged terrain and large trees looming overhead, almost canceling out the light of the stars. Mudkit would halt his trek, green orbs flickering around these different land markings. He should head back.. The solid brown tom would look over his shoulder, back towards the way he had come. He had all night though, didn't he? If he timed himself well enough then no one will even notice that he had left. The young tom lulled the thought over as he looked ahead, then his paws started moving once again. He took the time to soak in the new sights instead of diving back into his mind, he was allowed now not to force a grin upon himself in these moments of solitude.
