She giggled, she took more of her medicine. Cassie took her time in finishing her omelet.
-
Austin finished eating and cleaned up when he was done. "What are you most excited to make at the bakery?"
-
"Sounds horrible but cake. I have never really been good at baking cakes or decorating them." Cassie answered finishing her dish. She went to the sink to wash dishes.
-
Austin nodded. “I bet someone there will help you get better.” He said.
-
"Fingers crossed." She said finishing the dishes.
-
Austin helped Cassie with the dishes. Whenever they finished, Austin squeezed Cassie’s hand. “Ready?” He yawned.
-
"Are you still tired?" She asked in a teasing tone. Cassie took his hand in hers.
-
Austin nodded. “Yeah.” He laughed. Austin kissed her hand.
-
She smiled, "If you want to take a nap, we can stay home."
-
Austin shook his head. “No, you should go to the bakery. It’ll be good for you.”
-
"Are you coming, or do you want to go lay back down?" Cassie asked him.
-
Austin kissed her cheek. “I’ll walk you there and come back to take a nap. Sound like a deal?” He asked.
-
"That's fine with me, but if you're tired you don't have to walk with me." Cassie said.
-
Austin shook his head. “No, I want to walk you. I don’t mind.” He said and started walking out of the house. “You’ve taken your medicine, right?”
-
"Yes, sir." She said as she followed him out.
-
Austin laughed at the nickname. He held her hand as they started walking. “I bet you’ll teach them a lot of things there.” He said.
-
"Oh, I don't know, I mean they have a bakery. They will have a lot to teach me." Cassie said walking beside him.
-
Austin rolled his eyes. "Oh come on." He said. "You're so good, Cassie. There's something you know that they don't, I'm sure."
-
"Maybe. " She said, "But I just want to bake and cook."
