  • Austin was exploring the house more closely. So far, he liked this place. He sat down at the table and relaxed before Cassie approached. “Thanks, babe.” He said. Caiden waited until she sat down to take a bite. His eyes went wide. “Cas... this is awesome.” Austin laughed. “Don’t ever let me cook unless you’re ill.”

  • Cassie sat across from him. She took a sip of water as Austin took his first bite. She laughed at his comment. "I had a lot of time to teach myself." She took a bite and smiled. "Nate never said anything about my cooking, just what he wanted to eat. Thank you." Cassie said and continued to eat. When she finished she waited for him. "I normally like making dessert three times a week, as a treat. I didn't have enough time to bake, I should have started earlier."

  • Austin nodded. “I’ll help you make desert tomorrow then.” He said. When Austin finished, he took their plates and cleaned them off. “It’ll be a fun bonding experience. You’ll see me mess up a bunch and Imll be right there if you hurt yourself.”

  • Cassie giggled, "I don't know, as you can see I'm pretty good in the kitchen." Cassie watched him clean the kitchen. "Thank you sweetie." Cassie appreciated that he took their plates. She began busying herself with the pots and pans and the rest of the kitchen. While cooking she had been thinking. "I think I want to find something to do." Cassie said. "I know they don't have jobs here but I want something to do."

  • Austin smiled at her. “Yeah? I was thinking about working somewhere too.” He said. “Madison always made sure I had something to do. It feels weird not doing something, ya know?”

  • Cassie nodded, she knew what he meant. It would drive her crazy to be in any house all day long. It was late and nothing was going to happen now. Cassie finished cleaning and moved to Austin, "I'm going to change and get ready for bed." She had thoughts about his response but she wasn't looking for anything. She just wanted to be ready for the day coming. Plus she hadn't had a chance to change her clothes in sometime. She walked off to the bedroom and found some ladies nightgowns. She choose a simple cut light blue nightgown with lace trimmings, and changed.

  • Austin nodded. “I’ll see you in a bit then.” He told her and watched her go. Austin finished up cleaning and then went to meet Cassie in bed. He crawled on top of her and kissed her for a bit before laying down beside her. Austin wrapped his arms around his girlfriend and kissed her again. “I love you.” He said.

  • Cassie returned every kiss. She felt her body light up with every touch. When he moved she was slightly disappointed, but smiled as he remained close to her. "I love you Austin." She laid her hand on his chest.

  • Cassie blushed. "That's not true, you're too good to me." She took his hand in hers. "Thank you." She said softly. "Thank you for saving me." She moved closer to him and cuddled up to him. "You're my hero, Austin. I'm happy to be with you. I would be very happy to have a family with you."

  • Austin shrugged. "I don't know." He said. "Maybe I should ask David? I mean, where we came from, you could possibly get killed. Everyone seems so happy here though. Why was that the one rules they kept?"

  • Cassie didn't think about asking David, it would be the right thing to do but she worried about what David would think. Cassie sighed, "You're right." She stayed curled up with him and closed her eyes for the night. It took her some time to fall asleep, there was so much changing so quickly in her life it would take some adjustments.

  • (ooo interesting!)

Austin noticed how warm she was. It freaked him out. Austin sat up and felt her forehead. He pulled away quickly feeling the heat. Austin got up and changed clothes quickly and put a hat on. He returned by Cassie and sat down by her. He didn’t want to wake her up.

  • Cassie rolled over to her other side. She had started sweating. Her eyes fluttered open yet her eye lids were still heavy. She looked at Austin. "Austin, I don't feel good. My cut hurts really bad." She said as she used her arms to push herself the sit up.
