☾ Batpaw was very excited to lead her own patrol. She hopped into the middle of camp and settled in the dust. "Patrol! Come on!" she called out with a smile.

*:・゚✦ LAVENDERSPINE
muscles still aching from the cold nursery, lavenderspine blinks as sudden dust spurs into her face from batpaws jump. coughing lightly against it, yellow hues blink down on the excitable apprentice. she would need warriors on the patrol should something happen, riverclan had been slightly tense to them of late. "ill be coming to chaperone the apprentices - which border are we heading for?" her heart fluttered to think of the darkclan border.

❝ MY DIRTY WORDS ❞
mistpaw stepped closer, her small frame a little tensed up and her head tipping to the side slightly. she was tagging along and it was obvious when she sat down, her full attention on the two other cats. she didn't need words to get that across. she suddenly realized that maybe joining would be a mistake because of her anxiety around hunting, but also perhaps she could get a bit of help and reassurance? she would probably just be dead weight, though; a petrified apprentice with no drive to hunt or fight. that, and she wouldn't even open her mouth to express herself. she couldn't.
❝ I NEED TO GET MY MOUTH WASHED OUT! ❞

☾ Batpaw gazed up to Lavenderspine and smiled. "Not sure.. was thinking.. Thunderclan. Or Darkclan.. which one is better to go to, in your opinion?" she hummed. She looked to Mistpaw and smiled again; Mistpaw was quiet, but it reminded Batpaw of her uncle Maddog. "I'm glad you're coming!" she said as she patted Mistpaw on the back.

"uh, didn't they tell you which border to patrol?" stagpaw asks as he reluctantly padded up beside mistpaw, giving his sister a friendly shoulder bump in greeting. once again, his mentor had nagged him about his duties and responsibilities as an apprentice. at the sound of a patrol being called, they were all up on his case, leading to the situation he'd found himself in now. joining a patrol... at least it wasn't a hunting patrol. walking to and from the border was still a lot of work, but it was a hell of a lot easier than tracking down and chasing after a rabbit. "...anyways, i'm tagging along too, i guess."

"I can also tag along." the young warrior says as she makes her way over. A patrol sounded rather nice at the moment. Even with her stomach growling. Velvetpelt looks at the cats who were also coming along. Wondering if they would see anything interesting while out of camp.windclan § warrior § 15 moons § girl § luna x rulindil § tags

among the strong selection of apprentices and warriors who walked forward to volunteer, there seemed to be an odd cat out. "howdy!" the kit who frantically threw herself in the middle of the gathering of felines was clumsy, as if she was unused to the functions of her legs. despite being extremely small her eyes were bright and determined, unwilling to take 'no' as an answer to her following question. "can i join?" although she didn't know what a patrol was, cottonkit seemed to realize that a patrol equaled leaving the camp. after living by herself for so long, free to roam around as she pleased, the confines of the windclan camp was suffocating to her— she was eager to go outside and look at the endless moors once more, unbound by the rules of a clan.

"Thank you for finding my error, Stagpaw," the she-cat approached with a smile to join the small gathering of cats that were congregating around Batpaw. "I did not specify which border," she explained, for she had been the one to give this out to Batpaw as her weekly task- but they could always have supposed that her choice had been purposeful, in order to let Batpaw make the choices and grow as a warrior. Or, well, she could be Honeyflower and admit the truth honestly. She had forgotten, made a little mistake, and she wasn't afraid to admit that. "I'll join you as well," she added after a moment, sending a smile to the group around them, though she did pause slightly upon hearing Cottonkit's voice. They were always a bit of an enigma. A former barn-cat turned Clan-cat, and the rules for kittens were rather strict when it came to leaving the camp, much less a border patrol to other territories. Honeyflower briefly glanced to Lavenderspine and Velvetpelt, beseeching the thoughts of the other warriors present. "Ah, Cottonkit.. This patrol is going to go to the very edges of WindClan's territory to refresh the borders that we share with our allies and neutral clans- that is, friends and people that we're neither friends nor enemies with. And I made the choice to let Batpaw, one of our apprentices, lead it. It might be better for this patrol in particular if you stayed in camp." After all, it was one thing to make an apprentice responsible for leading, it was another to expect them to lead in unorthodox conditions with an especially young cat to keep an eye on and keep them out of harm's way. Still, her gaze hesitated on the other warriors, silently asking if they agreed with her words or not. "...Unless anyone else has stronger opinions on the matter, kits like you, Cottonkit, are too important to put in harm's way."
