Welp, my other RP hasn't exactly taken off, so let's do something else entirely for a change! (
That other one is still open, however, for those curious)
I've decided to do kind of a Kirby Air Ride RP, just to see if it takes off better (
Seriously, I haven't RP-ed in literal AGES). There isn't really a set plot, but I'm open to almost anything happening, honestly.
So let's just get right into it!
Welcome, to the Remote Island of City Trial! A cozy, urban paradise teeming with sun, sand, and LITERAL SURF... And by surf, we're not just talking the saltwater. Throughout known history, this land has gradually become known as an Air Ride HOTSPOT, and the very face of Air Ride as we know it on the Planet Pop Star today!
Throughout your stay, you can expect to find unique festivities, diverse biomes to explore (including a forest, dormant volcano, and ice-cave), and even some of the finest foods we have to offer in the famous Castle Hall's 5-star restaurant! But if those don't satisfy, the place is rife with plenty of other activity, opportunity, and events just to meet your interests.
As expected, that includes Air Ride related sport! From races, to stunts, to even a bit of chaotic "stadium prep" sessions established within the city's borders once every so often, you can never grow bored of brandishing that board!

If you'd like to learn more and get started with Air Ride, beneath the city's primary residential area lies your best shot: right at our Ship-Shop-- your one and only stop to rent, purchase, repair and even retrieve lost Air Ride Machines! So certainly check it out if you're interested!
Lastly, if ever any case of emergency comes up, we have plenty of facilities in order to meet your needs! A Hospital lies just at the South end of the city (just above the residential area), there is a Police Dept. HQ beneath the woods, and if something becomes dire enough to require special attention, you can even contact pro Air-Riders known as the "Turbo Team", who are dedicated to protecting this Island -and just about anyone- with their lives!
Although hardly a danger touches the Island enough, we are certainly no strangers to knowing how to take necessary precautions and handle any situation that may arise, and would like you to rest assured that you are in good hands. Your safety AND satisfaction are our top priority.
So go on and make yourselves at home, right in the heart of Air Ride central!

3. Furthermore, you generally cannot determine the states or statuses of other RP-er's characters. Always ask the targeted user's consent for anything too drastic, or wheel-taking in nature (kooky magic possession, Air-Ride malfunctions from external sources, etc. )
4. I highly would discourage death for this Roleplay, as it is not seen as necessary in order to advance anything.

Here are some of the locations you can feel free to explore!
The City as we know it is the heart of many festivals, and houses most of the places our residents gather their general necessities, among many things. Here is a brief overview of some of the most notable buildings and their purposes
Light Orange Building:
Sitting just next to the Ship Shop's West Entrance, this is where you can get most things for day-to-day living and entertainment. Food, Toiletries, Tools... This place has it all! There's even a Magic Shop on the top floor/roof!
Just North of the previous-mentioned building, this place is a hotspot for focused career-training and various arts (visual, music, performance, magic, etc)... It is especially recommended for those who distaste in piles of irrelevant prerequisites!
Large White Building*:
This multi-purpose building is 80% hotel, 5% bank, and 15% other, if you want to get super technical about it. The tunnel-structures through the building's base serves as a good side-road, and are an often used spot for Festivals or Parades!
(*Not to be confused with the smaller white building, or the grey one beside it)
Soft Aqua Building:
Sitting just below the Ship Shop's East Entrance, but conveniently near the Main Residential Area, is the hospital.
City Trial's Main Residential Area -strewn all over the south-most end of the Island- consists of patchy-looking metal houses. Don't let that hard and unsightly exterior fool you! These homes are true survivors, designed to take on almost any disaster, even if something were to crack their lofty entrances to pieces!
That's right, many live underneath the ground, since most Air Ride events require a lot of space to begin with! It should come to almost no surprise, all things considered.
The Ship Shop is your number one stop for any and all Air Ride needs! It boasts all the how there is to know, and all the hard work behind Air Ride Machines, as well as their maintenance takes place only here (at least, in any official capacity). In addition to being able to purchase or rent a vessel, or even drop any off for repairs, this place also serves as a "lost and found" for those whose Air Ride Machines have gone missing.
The area, for general ease of access, harbors a North, South, East, and West entrance (conveniently doubling as jump-ramps for any passing Rider), and two extra ramps for those on-foot who need a quick shortcut... As well as some warp pads to carry any satisfied customer and their "sweet ride" back to the streets above!
The City Wharf is the sole port of the town, and a general welcome-spot for new arrivals, sitting just to the east of the island.
Whatever the occasion, we will be sure to receive you with open arms, and an open mind!
The only thing that truly stands out on the Wharf is the Express Rail, connecting this location with the Castle Hall up North, and the Electric Lounge down South.
City Trial's Electric Lounge is a hot spot for special interests and activities, just off the island's South shoreline!
Each floor boasts a special purpose to satisfy the Air Ride itches you just may be suffering.
Floor 1: Green
This First Floor is surveyed and sponsored by personnel from the Ship Shop, and is known simply as the "Beginner's Floor". It is the perfect place to start from in learning the basics of Air Ride!
Floor 2: Blue
Although this floor has not been officially declared for any purpose, it harbors an Express Rail connecting it to the City Wharf to the East, and the Green Canvas to the West.
Floor 3: Yellow
Known as "The Extreme Stunts Club". Here is where you can push the magnificent art of Air Riding past its known limits! This certainly is not recommended for the faint of heart, nor for any tragically inexperienced Riders!
Floor 4: Red
The topmost floor, home to a group of heroic Air Riders known as the "Turbo Team", who guard and protect this Island from harm --often in tandem with the City Trial Police Department. Word has it their leader, Seth, is best friends with the Police Dept.'s head officer!
The Green Canvas is lush and rife with foliage! Perfect for picnics by the river, or tree-climbing... Or... whatever else you do in forests that won't hurt anything!
A lively stream courses from the North to South end of these plains in a slightly crooked fashion, all the way to a magnificent water wheel that is capable of giving any Air Riders a fun lift to an elevated cliff for a splendid ocean view!
More toward the center of the plains, and up past stray rocks, are two large golf-holes drilled into the ground --word has it they'll launch an Air Rider straight into the air (give it a shot, if you dare~)! And just nearby, is an Express Rail connecting the South's Electric Lounge, and the Northern Heat Top above.
Not least importantly, there is an outdoor school for young children sitting at the North-most part, taught by a tree who simply prefers to be called "Mr. Woods".
Say.... Where is that Police Department? Surely the brochure said something about a Forest Cave...
Heat Top consists of not one, but two whole mountains with a rope bridge connecting them a little precariously. The roar of the flame is very close on this bridge, thanks to two mysterious heat dragons who tirelessly leap back and forth in the deep melty red below... It is beyond recommended to try and start a conversation with one, and petting either is nowhere near advised, presently.
Between the two, the Landform sitting Northwest is the most accessible, via a roundabout ramp, and sitting just on top is an Express Rail connecting the Green Canvas South of this location, and the Castle Hall establishment due East.
The Northmost landform, not counting the stray cliff that partially borders this area, is a "somewhat dormant Volcano". Any Rider who attempts to glide or jump over the gaping crater at its peak will be cast into the sky, where they can take in a lovely view of the Island while airborne... And perhaps, a bit more...
Can't take the heat? Well, you're in luck! Sitting just beneath all of this is a glimmering ice cave! Just gotta find that darned secret entrance...
City Trial's Castle Hall is famously known for the Restaurant inside, where you can order almost anything to your heart's content, as well as unique dishes, desserts, and beverages based on things that make the whole Island special (sweets based on Air Ride Machines, Whole Pizzas based on the Island's locations, a Heavenly Salad Bowl, and so on)!
Still Hungry? Be sure to grab something to go home with, as you are entirely welcome to take out! This place also delivers, and the delivery times are STELLAR! The boxes are adorably colorful, too~!
Cutting between the kitchen and the Restaurant floor is the Express Rail connecting the Heat Top due west, and the City Wharf just shortly South. Servers are specially trained to know when any traffic is coming, and how to time or hold themselves back accordingly, for their safety.
The beach strip between Castle Hall and the Wharf is littered in sparkling coral, and is a popular spot for all kinds of summer fun! There also appear to be isolated, small-scale whirlpools that perpetually keep spinning along, and don't seem to be very strong most days anyway... What keeps them going is not yet known.
The Garden in the Sky has long withstood the test of time, and is said to have been hovering above the Island since even before the City really emerged.
Few venture up there, but those who have often compare it with a Dream....
Some say that in the most dire situations, the Sky Structure may bring some kind of protection to this Island... Though this has not been thoroughly observed or studied by most.
Other Notable Landmarks include The Star Tower just off-center of the entire Island, The Lighthouse just North of the Electric Lounge, and two lone flowers each hidden in obscure or hard-to-reach places...
