  • Rose chuckled. "Let them have their fun, Caiden. We'll catch up with them later anyway." As she spoke, Dexter appeared from the back. He looked at Caiden, seemed confused, and turned and walked back the way he came. Rose could not stop herself from laughing. "That dog..."

Penny was surprised when Zach paid for hers. She smiled as she took the ice cream from him. "Thanks Zach," she said softly.

  • Caiden laughed. “Guess he thought I was Zach.” He said. Caiden kissed her cheek. “You’re so perfect.” He told her.

Zach smiled. “Yeah, of course.” He said. Zach tried his ice cream and laughed. “I’m always going to listen to your suggestions.”

  • Caiden smiled and shook his head. “That’s far from true.” He said. “Thank you though.”

Zach smiled and nodded. “You don’t think so?” He laughed. “I trust your opinion, really.”

  • Caiden laughed. “Lying? Why would I do that?” He teased.

Zach blushed at her compliment. “R-Really?” He said shyly. “You probably haven’t met a whole lot of people then.”

  • Caiden stopped and stood up, walking off to tease her like she did with him. he hid in the bathroom and waited to see if she would find him.

Zach was somewhat relived she was just as nervous as him. "I really appreciate it." He said. Zach bit his lip. "To be honest, no one's ever affected me like you have."

  • Rose knew what he was doing immediately, and she would not fall for it. She remained sitting on the couch.

Penny looked up at him, clearly surprised. "That makes two of us," she whispered.

  • Caiden hid for a while until he gave up. He returned to couch whining. “Prim, this isn’t fair.” He said.

Zach looked back at her and blushed even more if that was possible for him. He bit his lip. “Do you want to go on a date sometime?” He asked.

  • Caiden gave her a look. “Uh huh.” He said, pretending to be annoyed.

Zach smiled. “Really?” He said, surprised she agreed to it. Zach messed with his hair, unsure what to do now that wasn’t jumping in joy. “You’re not a picky eater, are you?” He asked.

  • Rose crossed her arms. She matched his look. Two could play that game.

Penny chuckled some as she nodded. "Really," she assured him. When he asked about her eating, she shook her head. "I'm pretty much game for anything."

  • Caiden gave her a playful glare. “Don’t copy me.” He said. “I’m the mad one, not you.”

Zach smiled and nodded. “Good.” He said. “So, sushi is okay?” He asked.

  • Caiden glared at her again. “Why would you be mad? I’ve done nothing to make you mad.” He told her.

Zach smiled. “I’m the same way. You’ll be fine.” He said. Zach finished his ice cream and then offered to throw hers away

  • Caiden wasn't buying it. He stood up and walked into the kitchen and started cooking.

Zach returned next to her and smiled back. "Ready to go?" He asked. "We don't have to go back to the house if you don't want to. I just want to spend time with you somehow."
