    ASPEN

    Aspen flattens her ears "i am not attached just hate upsetting others" she murmurs

    To Kassidy it sounded like they were fighting so she called Caleb "Hey, you need to come get them, I think they'll be good" she told him then just hung up

    Scout glanced at the gate. “You seem to be okay with upsetting me.” He said sadly.


    Sarah showed up instead of Caleb so he could get more sleep. She knocked on the door. It felt weird being here already.

    ASPEN

    Aspen whines done with this conversation as she sits away from him.

    Kassidy opens the door not really surprised "First door on the right...their fighting so be warned" walking away to take eight formula bottle upstairs.

    Sarah stepped inside and watched her for a bit. It was clear she was upset about something and was very troubled over it. "I'm not mad at you." She told her. "I'm not mad at Caleb either." The girl crossed her arms in a more self-hug way. "Can we sit and talk?"

    ASPEN

    Kassidy pauses on the stairs and looks at the woman "Lemme put it this way, I am married to my job and have eight babies waiting upstairs for their lunch." then she took a breath. She set the bucket of bottles down and walks into her living room "What do you want to talk about?"she questions. Walls were up so high she was a skyscraper and was just trying to be polite to the pregnant woman in her home.

    ASPEN

    Kassidy rose her brow "I know fur babies it'll take me at least two hours to get them all to eat. Sometimes they just wanna play or are tired of the bottle. So now" leaning from the behind the couch.

    Sarah nodded and took a bit to gather her thoughts. “I know you and Caleb have always had a connection. Anytime you were in the room together. You just had something we didn’t have...” She paused to wipe a tear from her cheek. “I’m divorcing him when I get back home. I heard you should marry your best friend and I always thought that was Caleb. He’s been different ever since Aspen and Scout came back. I thought it was me doing something wrong, but it was you.” Sarah explained and got up. “You’re welcome to have him now. He’s happier with you. I know he is. Don’t be scared to call him.”

    ASPEN

    Kassidy looked very confused and suddenly her walls fell and she moves sitting next to the woman. "I'm sorry...I know you may not want it but can I give you a hug? Or at least my vet care is always free for you, alright?" telling her gently. Though she doubted she would call Caleb more like wait cause he left, she was not gonna chase after him.

    Sarah nodded and hugged Kassidy. "He deserves you." She told her. "You're so kind and loving like. I've always been bossy and stubborn." Sarah chuckled. "Where are the animals again?" She asked.

    Sarah shook her head. "I think Scout and Aspen's plan was to let us take the ones we wanted and give the other four to the wolf. You're still welcome to take one if you want to." She told Kassidy.

    Sarah nodded and looked down at her stomach. "I'm trying to get her back on her feet now. I cant baby her anymore. She starts therapy soon and she'll get a job two weeks later. We'll see how it goes from there." Sarah told her and sighed. "I'll have to find an online job or something." She said.

    ASPEN

    Kassidy bites her lips hearing her plan "When Emily is ready send her my way...I'll have a job just right for her" offering a smile. "I don't want to leave my fellow women in the dust. Anything just ask and I'll do my best, alright. IN the mean time, you pick your puppy I'll fetch mine. You need as much calmness as possible"

    Sarah smiled a bit. She was thankful Kassidy was being nice about this. "Thank you. I was going to take Roman of the wolf pups. It's up to Caleb now about what to do with the dog pups when they'll old enough. He'll probably take Aspen and Scout and I can't separate them from the pups." She answered. "Did any of the wolf pups spark your interest at all? I can bring them back and you can choose if you want. No rush to make up your mind. Emily wants Willow."

    ASPEN

    Kassidy was actually enjoying this conversation "Jenna sparked my interest quite the feisty little one" she giggles. "Um the dog pups I am gonna try and see if I can find the father actually. See if I can get him into a breeding program that will take care of him" she explains. "just a side project" smiling some.
