  • Contemplation had been his life for the last several months. After leaving Saturnstar and the others, he had wandered alone for a long while. He needed to figure out who he was and where he belonged. Unfortunately, he hadn't been able to come to terms with anything on his own. He kept feeling as if he needed to return to where he started; maybe there would be something here that would trigger his memory. He knew that before, this had been his home, not just once but many times. Most of the people he had loved had come from here. It was his best chance.

After leaving the Rogues, Ghost had taken a plain white body with three blue eyes; it wasn't unlike the majority of his life, or lives, or whatever his existence might be called. It was somewhat younger than he was, but not drastically. The body he took was about three and a half years old, while he himself was approximately ten months older. It felt strange the be in something older when he was used the younger bodies of his reincarnations, but it also felt... right.

The feline took a seat on the border, trying to rid himself of the clutter of thoughts in his head. He awaited someone's approach, clearly tired, not just in body but in mind. He needed rest, and hopefully it would be granted to him.

Dio hated greeting joiners. Nothing against them personally, he was sure - and knew for a fact - that they were all very nice people who deserved warm greetings. But the thing was - Dioscuri couldn't provide them a first friendly face. Barking out contradictions in almost every sentence, switching between anxious to overzealous and back again in a matter of moments, and the fact that he came out with a face entirely wrapped in bandages like a half-finished mummy - he was a pretty bad first impression for someone to have of the Hyperian Isles group.

Still, practice had to make perfect...right? When Dioscuri saw the three-eyed cat at the border, he almost walked right past, to head home to tell someone else to handle it. But the need to work on his weird issues burned in him like an itch he just couldn't ignore. So, with a sigh, the liger male makes his way over.

smiling politely, he greets, " Er - um - hello. Welcome to Hyperian isles - name and business?" he pauses, then adds, " please?" He tugs at his bandages, making sure the wrapping is tight. So far so good...

  • Past lives and reincarnation was a whole mess that frankly seemed quite daunting to Mike. He didn't like to think about it because it just confused him at times. Something about trying to wrap his head around the soul or whatever coming back and latching onto a new body without memories. That's what he'd always been told reincarnation was, but apparently there were different variations? He had an even harder time trying to believe that. It all just sounded like fancy and more complicated possession. But who was he to speak? He wasn't the expert in spiritual matters. It wasn't his problem.

But greeting people at the border was his problem. Came with the job and he hated it. Standing beside his shorter but definitely bulkier clanmate the hybrid stared blankly down at the small three-eyed feline, a flicker of curiosity bulleting across his indifferent brown gaze.

The serval once wished for reincarnation or anything to bring back the dead. For her mother. But that was years ago and she knew Tama was never coming back. But, she still missed her from time to time. Cosmicshadow didn't know what would happen after she dies. Maybe she would be slapped back with another body. But honestly, she just hoped to find some peace. Her purple hues looked around when she noticed the stranger at the border. Making her way over, her metal paw thumping against the forest floor. The standard questions had been asked, so now she waited for an answer. ""

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ Aphrodite joins the group nonchalantly, coming to stand beside Mikhal, her icy eyes transfixed on the stranger. A gentle smile curls her lips, inviting them with an aura of friendliness. For the most part, she is quiet as she stands there, waiting patiently for them to answer the questions being asked. After that, she could get to introducing herself.

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ spiritline had reincarnated. twice, actually. one in his past life, and then once more to get to here. agrelos. upon coming to, it had taken him quite a while to get used to this body. to go from being human to being...this, was no small change. it didn't help that his muscles seemed to remember how to fight, but he couldn't quite channel that energy in the proper directions. only did months and months of training hone his previous skills to fit his new body, and he still often felt out of place, with no real memory as to why. spiritline wants to say he can feel a similar energy coming from the unnamed joiner, and the vulpine settles for eyeing ghost quietly from aphrodite's side.

  • A good number of Hyperians came to mark his arrival, and yet not a single one that he recognized. That was fine; it had been a long time, and besides, he didn't look exactly the same as he once had. Only one spoke, and so his attention turned towards him rather than the number of silent creatures around him.

"My name is Ghost," he introduced himself, slightly hesitant with his words but not enough for it to seem too strange. "This is Blizz—ah... Hyperia, yes?" He was quick to correct himself before he finished; this wasn't the place it used to be, he knew that. He paused for a moment, and would continue once he received a confirmation. "I'd like to join, if that's alright," He was sure it would be; nobody really turned anyone away. Not in the past, and not now.

Her ear twitched as they almost say Blizzardclan. Yes, that was their old name. A time before merging with the tribe, a time before the world changed. Hyperian Isles was a new name but many had already forgotten about the days of Blizzardclan. Cosmicshadow would never forget, since that was her birth place. She looks them over for a moment before being the first one to speak up after his introduction. "I don't see why not. I'm Cosmicshadow." she looks away for a moment. Wondering if this was a place they use to call home. Were they returning or joining. It didn't really matter she guessed. "I'm sure someone like Aphrodite or Spiritline can give you a nice friendly tour of the place."
