    Greetings:

    Hello! My names Lissiebug (obvious, I know), you can call me Lissie or Liss or Liz (;p) and I'm super excited to jump back into roleplaying! FF used to be like my second home until life got in the way, you know how it is. Anyways, when I was leaving, something got ahold of me to delete a lot of my old threads so now I'm back at square one! Now that you've gotten to know me a little I suppose it's time to jump into the fun part.


    Thread Overview:

    This thread is a My Hero Academia inspired roleplay! It will take place at U.A high, after dormitories have been implemented, and also after entrance exams(you all made it! Congrats! Oh and bonus- you all made class 1A! Wow!). Well that's it, not much I know but I like to keep it short and sweet! The rest of the plot will take place with the remaining time at school. Conflicts will arise, friendships will be built, and a rowdy bunch of kids will become heros!

    I have a few thoughts on villains and arcs but I'm entirely open to ideas.


    Rules:

    Not many, so listen close.

    1.) Only 1 of a certain type of quirk, so first come first serve. Each quirk must be unlike another.

    2.) No one character can become overpowered, each character has to have their share of weaknesses.

    3.) For the characters forms- You can add as much as you want, but at least please fill out what's provided.

    4.) No OOC drama

    5.) If you are going to be inactive please make it known!!!

    6.) You can NOT kill other characters unless they are one of yours or it's been agreed upon.

    7.) Basic site rules (duh)

    No skill level required. However, please post more than a sentence per action or dialogue. Of course some exceptions can be made. But for the most part try to be as Juicy as possible!

    Quirk Type: Warp

    Quirk Description: Allows user to create opening(s) to another dimension. Can also be used for teleportation. For this user, when using her quirk, it normally appears as black stary disk that resembles the night sky. When objects pass through her ‘voids’ they can either temporarily become trapped in a sort of suspended animation inside the void or immediately be released through another opening.


    Strengths: Kana is youthful and nimble. Her flexibility and agility aid her in fast maneuvers. She can open up points of teleportation without having to physically touch said point. Along with teleportation her quirk can also be used to contain objects. Her aim for fame and entrance into UA high led her down a path of tetious study which has made her very booksmart.

    Weaknesses: She’s very petite, meaning she doesn't have much physical strength and can’t pack a punch. Like many other quirks, using her quirk too much drains her energy so she can only use void in moderate amounts. Void also doesn't not possess unlimited distance and as of currently that distance is around 50m max. Along with the teleportation aspect of her quirk, the ‘containment’ aspect also has its limitation. If an object is inside the void for too long it will begin phaze back into our dimension. The amount of time she can contain something depends on her concentration, energy level, and some other external factors; making her containment ability unpredictable and highly unreliable. While being booksmart has made Kana a high ranking student, all her time spent studying has made her awkward to social situations.


    Personality Traits: Bubbly, Fritzy, Stubborn, Friendly

    Backstory: Kana grew up in a moderately sized town with few attractions and even fewer things to do on days off, so most of her childhood was spent inside reading or coloring. She didn’t really meet other kids, this led to her father becoming her closest friend. Kana’s father was a stay at home dad who painted as a hobby and only ever left the house to sell his art in the city. The two of them were practically the same person. They both were homebodies who loved books and art, but hated broccoli. Kana and her father were inseparable and life was simple.

    At a young age Kana, like most other children, started developing a quirk. However, this was a little shocking to her parents given they both were second generation of entirely quirkless families. While this unforeseen obstacle was new to them, her parents did their best to let life continue on normally. And that it did for a time. Kana would attend school in the morning and then return home in the afternoon to ‘help’ her father paint. At night her father would help nurture her rare and flashy quirk. He’d often muse to her and express his desire for her to become a hero. He’d explain to her how rare and useful her quirk would be in the hero business. But the hero path never really stuck much interest in her. Instead she would exclaim that she’d be an artist, just like him. This always managed to put a smile on her father's face, even though that smile hid a twinge of sadness. His whole life he’d spend obsessed with heros. Infact in his youth he’d wanted nothing more than to become a pro hero, but that dream was soon crushed with the reality quirklessness carried with it. Unable to live out his dream he found new passions, such as art, but somehow he was alway pulled back to his hero obsession, one way or another.

    While on one of her father’s weekend trips to the city there was a villain attack just a few blocks away from his gallery. Kana and her now pregnant mother sat glued to the T.V. as reports of destruction filled the room. They waited for hours for some kind of news on her father. He never returned home. A distraught day passed. Her mother wanted nothing more than to go out and search through the rubble herself, but she was unable to in her current state. Eventually a police officer showed up at their door, informing them that her father had died a hero. He recited a tale of how her father had bravely ventured into a burning building dragging countless people from the flames, saving their lives. The man said even after her father had been informed that the building was no longer stable, he continued to trek into the smoke. He had just reentered the building when it collapsed.

    Her father was honored as the “quirkless man who became a hero”. No matter where she and her mother went they were thanked and honored or pursued by the media. The stress and grief caused her mother to go into early labor, birthering her kid-brother Niko, who they named after her father. Kana was 10 at the time voguing she would become a pro hero, so no one would ever have to die the way her father did.

    Quirk Name: Blood Manipulation

    Quirk Type: (Not sure exactly what type it would be, only other one I can think of is like Bloodcurdle?)

    Quirk Description: Blood Manipulation is as it sounds, it allows Chara to manipulate the blood of others how she wishes. She can pull blood from cuts or other orifices from a person and use it as a weapon such as a whip or needles, she will often coat other weapons like her sword or knives with the blood to better hit her target with surprise attacks. She can also manipulate the blood within a person's body; not enough to move limbs, but enough to upset organs or blood flow.


    Strengths: Chara is best with close combat, practicing with a sword most of her life. She is very instinctual and often acts on reflex rather than thought. With her Quirk, she can easily take on a single opponent. She is more athletically inclined than academically, though she gets by well enough. She exceeds in physical activity.

    Weaknesses: Though Chara's Quirk is powerful, it takes both a physical and emotional toll on her. Should she use it on herself and use her own blood, the effects of both using the Quirk and the blood loss put quite a strain on her body and exhausts her much faster. Using someone else's blood is easier on her physically, but not on her mentality. She often uses her own blood more than others due to the guilt and fear she feels if trying to use someone else's, she could easily kill someone with her Quirk if she made the wrong move(such as making them bleed to death if she takes too much from their body) and that fear weighs heavily on her conscience, though she would never let it show. Though she tries her best to think otherwise, she believes herself to be a monster because of what she can do, and someone could easily use that fear against her if they knew about it.

    With her Quirk, she can control another person's blood for only 30 minutes at a time before her hold on it diminishes and she either has to fight another way, or use another's blood. She can only control one person's blood at a time, never multiple. Should she release her hold on one's blood even before the time limit runs out, she must still wait half an hour before being able to grab hold of the same person again.


    Personality Traits: Quiet, Kind, Thoughtful, Friendly, Awkward.

    Backstory: Chara was raised her whole life to become a Hero and to do good by her mother, who pushed her into training so much growing up. Her father was a notorious Villain who had been arrested not long after she was born, her mother had been horrified to find out what Chara's father had done and who he truly was, so as the baby girl grew, her mother watched for signs that a Quirk was manifesting, hoping and praying that the child would develop her mother's Quirk over her father's. Fate had other plans, however, for when the little girl did start showing signs, it was her father's deemed evil Quirk that showed. Scared of what her daughter could do and become, she rigorously and strictly trained Chara everyday, warning her of what her Quirk was capable of, and instilling fear into the girl's very own core. Her mother raised her to do good, and even pushed her to become a Hero to prove that she was-nor would she ever be-like her father.

    Quirk Description: Aiko always appears to be sickly, but it's really part of her quirk. She is constantly coughing out sparks of electricity. If she raises her voice (which rarely occurs), a massive bolt of energy shoots from her throat and at whoever is unfortunate enough to be standing in front of her. Medication will ease the constant tingling irritation that comes with her quirk, but makes it less strong.


    Strengths: Apart from her quirk, Aiko is also a skilled programmer and has hacked into several underdeveloped security systems (including her middle school's). Being half blind gives her a heightened sense of hearing.

    Weaknesses: (should have twice as many weaknesses as strengths) Her quirk has not only given her a constant itch in her throat, but asthma as well. She is not good with athletics, and can't run far without erupting into a coughing fit. She's also somewhat blind without glasses and doesn't wear any.


    Personality Traits: (short list of adjectives) Quiet, intelligent, angry, cold and sarcastic

    Backstory: (optional)(doesn't have to be anything too crazy long, just let us get to know them a bit.) Her parents worried over her and babied her for her entire life. She was homeschooled until she was finally allowed to attend a public middle school when she turned 13. But after a half-year of bullying and getting sympathetic looks from teachers and students alike, she ran away from it all. Soon after, she came upon the League of Villains and is now trying to prove herself as their newest recruit.
