  • Lisette is currently complaining to me about something as I cut up a cucumber. "Shikashi, watashi wa shitai. Kare no han'nō o mite mitai." I shake my head. "Īe. Kore de saigodesu." I poke her with the tip of my knife to emphasize my point and she jerks back with a small cry of surprise. She glares at me. "Cora! That hurt!" I had turned slightly away from her so my back was to her and noticed the blood on the very tip of the knife. Not very much, but I still dare to try it. It's delicious. I turn back to her, "Sorry. I didn't mean to." She whines slightly and turns back to finish the tea. I quickly swipe my finger along the prick that has beaded up with blood and lick the blood off. The warm taste floods through my mouth and I smile slightly. She didn't notice, so I simply turn to the sink and wash off the knife, then go back to cutting the cucumber. I'm surprisingly able to keep myself mostly under control. The worst thing that happens is a sudden craving for her blood more than what it already was, but it's easily ignorable at the moment.

  • Upon seeing the event that had transpired, I gave Cora an almost unnoticeable warning look. My jaw twitched ever so slightly at the unexpected scent of fresh blood, but I paid it no heed. As long as Cora controlled herself, things could still go smoothly.

  • The two of us work easily in the kitchen together. We both have knives and peelers out at different times, yet no one gets hurt after that last event. I keep myself under control, in fact smiling through most of it. In the end, we bring a tray of some nice japanese china that must be centuries old. We both give gentle and respectful bows of our heads to Allanon at the same time. "Enjoy," we say, then I lead Lisette away towards the bathroom. "Come on, we're getting that injury bandaged."

  • I blink a little, surprised at how they'd gone out of their way to prepare something for me. I gave a respectful dip of my head in return, a gentle smile still gracing my lips as I looked at the food in front of me. "Thank you for the meal," I murmured.

  • I begin to push Lisette towards the bathroom and she whines, "Stop pushing me." I roll my eyes and chuckle, grabbing her arm and begnning to pull her along. "Well, I don't care how much you hate it, I'm bandaging that injury for you." She whines as I get her to sit on the toilet and then go to pull out the things I'll need. The first thing heard is Lisette's whimper, "Agh, it hurts...."

  • As I listen to the girls going back and forth about the injury, I continued to pet Samurai, satisfied with the current state of things. I took a bite on the food that had been prepared and enjoyed the flavors. Vampire's could still enjoy mortal food, though it wouldn't satiate their appetite. It was like dumping water in a bottomless well. Still, he let himself enjoy it, memories playing out in his mind.

  • I don't respond for a moment before saying, "It's not like I can do this painlessly. I don't know how and I'm not a magician." Lisette grumbles in reluctant agreeance and I chuckle. "Okay, gonna do it again," I warn, then Lisette gives a whimper that is a lot less pain filled and is quieter. "See? Feels better this time." A few moments of silence pass and then we both come out, Lisette bandaged where I'd accidentally stabbed her. She takes the corner seat of the couch, so I really have no choice but to sit next to Allanon. Needless to say, I'm struggling to maintain a polite gap between us.

  • I turned to look at the two girls, a polite look of interest adorning my face. "Well, how kind of you ladies to join us," I teased, still sounding somewhat reserved as I pet Samurai. Force of habit really, but I tried to pay it no mind. "My compliments to you both on a dish well done."

  • I chuckle at his tease and then smile happily. "We do take great pride in culinary arts in this - well, I guess household? -" I look to Lisette and she shrugs as if to say she doesn't know what they should call it. I chuckle, "Yeah, I guess it'd be called a household." Lisette chuckles, "That's what happens when you get a japanese for a roommate."

  • I chuckled, amused by their interactions. "Well, your culinary arts skils are certainly well developed," I complimented, enjoying their company more than I had really expected.

  • I smiled and nodded to Allanon, then playfully and halfheartedly glared at Lisette. "Are you saying that's a bad thing?" Lisette giggles, "You'll never know." I raise a brow. "Are you testing me?" Lisette watches, gauging me. "I think Fae and Tim will have a new project tonight, hm?" I say, smiling darkly. Lisette blinks, looking genuinely scared, "No! It's not a bad thing! I promise." My smile becomes more genuine. "Good."

  • As the girls shared their banter, I watched quietly, taking another bite of food. This was nice, enjoying the company of others. Perhaps some day, he could get used to it.

  • I simply observed them, wishing I knew how to join in. Unfortunately, interactions such as this had escaped me for a very long time. I was incredibly rusty at social connections, aside from the formal business agenda.

  • Lisette peeks out from behind Allanon. "How is it a gift?" I chuckle, "Well wouldn't you want a terrifying partner more than a friendly one?" Lisette raises a brow, "Oh, well I didn't know you were a lesbian, you little pervert." My eyes widen, "Oh, my god, Lisette! That is NOT what I meant!" Lisette laughs, liking that she'd managed to fluster me.

  • I felt my face heat up at their conversation due to unexpected mental images, even though I didn't react very noticeably outwardly. Oh man, things would be interesting at this rate.

  • I growl slightly and get up grabbing the chest off the table that Samurai had been guarding. I pull my necklace out from under my shirt to reveal a key of sorts which I use to unlock the chest. Lisette gets up and starts to back away from me and I chuckle. I open the chest and grab a handful of the dust inside it. I dart towards Lisette and blow it in her face before she can react. In less than two seconds, she's out cold and I press a single, hidden button on the key which causes her to disappear. Most likely teleportation of a sort. I close and lock the chest, putting it back as I take my place sitting next to Allanon again. "That oughta teach her to make comments like that."

  • I sat there, all my motions ceased at I leveled the most utterly confused look on Cora I could remember wearing. "Excuse me," I finally managed after some time, "what the hell just happened?" With a shake of my head as if to clear it, I focused on Cora once more.

  • After Cora said that, I relaxed slightly, before becoming more conscious of us alone, as well as the more...exposing position she had assumed next to me. I averted my gaze, attempting to ignore it.
