。・゚゚・ Cass liked these neat throwing knives she got from Freyja. But she wasn't a fighter type, so she had to find an alternate reason to throw knives about. And with her limited communication ability, she knew exactly what. Into the wooden handle of one of the knives, she carefully carved in Roman-style blocky lettering, Salve! and tossed it at the side of her house. She missed her target, as big as it was, and the knife fell harmlessly into a snowbank. Well, she should practice that little bit.

But! Carving messages is way more fun! Maybe some personalized ones? She got started carefully carving another that said 'Heya, Freyja!' and laughed at her work. Though maybe she should bury that particular one. Oh well. Shall we continue? 'Ave, Amelia!' 'Shalom, stranger!' but they weren't all greetings. 'Look out!' and 'Go away' were carved, and then there were no more knives. She only had the five. Uh oh. That means it's time to try the throwing part. However a feline without opposable thumbs throws a knife. Maybe she should get Freyja's help, but she'd feel so stupid if she couldn't hit the broad side of... her house. Especially in the presence of skills-at-everything Freyja. So she threw the Freyja knife at her house again and its hilt bounced off the wall. But at least it landed on the large, discolored spot she was specifically aiming for.

  • Amelia had been making a back and forth trip from the Infirmary to the Nursery, moving things around and, well, nesting. Her stomach kept swelling and made her walk more of a waddle, and her instincts told her that, not only did she need to rest, but she needed to make a soft, warm spot to give birth in. She had seen her apprentice scratching at something a few times as she traveled, but didn't divert from her path until just before Cass threw another knife. She flinched at the action but, given how close she was to Cass, didn't turn around and walk away.

"Are you having fun?" Amy hummed, trying to not feel fear of her apprentice.

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ Cass better watch where she's throwing those things. Thought Oz as he approaches, catching Amelia flinching. He comes to his girlfriend's side, bumping her gently with the tip of his cold nose before his gaze turns to Cass. He didn't care much for weapons, he had his powers and his bite and that was all he needed. "Where'd you get those from?" He asks.

。・゚゚・ Cass stuffed the knives conspicuously into the snow when Amelia came up and went to pick up the knife she just threw. "Depends your idea of fun. I'm throwing knives at my own house. And they're not even hitting!" Her eyes locked on Oz for a moment as he approached and nuzzled Amelia. Honestly the two of them are just so cute together. "Uh, Freyja gave them to me. Kind of. Maybe a mistake to take them." she answered. Latin

  • Ozy's scent found her before he did, hence why she didn't flinch at his touch. Instead, Amy leaned into it, moving back to press her body into his arm. He had been a bit busy lately, from what she could remember, but she would cherish every moment she had with him. Still, she kept her eyes on her apprentice as she tried to hide each of her knives, "If you're having fun, you shouldn't think of it as a mistake," she murmured to the girl, though quickly found that her words could be twisted and used against her, should she speak out again, "As long as you're careful, Cass," she added, knowing that it didn't solve all of her problems, but seemingly enough for her to rest easy.
