I swam across the water. When i got to shore you were talking to another she cat. I thought in my mind I think their mates. I was going to give it a chance. When I reached you my coat was dry. Than I greeted you. I whisperd in your ear quiely i love you. -

Moonlight dappled her fur as she stared up at Silver Pelt. She was alone for another night, and fearing she would stay like this forever, she felt emotions smack her in the face.
She felt the tears swell.

A wiggling tiny red kit clouded the water around it with blood. It was her. "Mother!" She howled. She couldn't swim. A larger cat, her mother hauled her to shore. The tint cat watched as she was mauled by the Blood Clan cats... No... Mama... the kitten was running now. Mama...
She saw her reflection in the water and saw the cat she never wanted to be. Pathetic. Tears never solved a thing. The kind of cat that did nothing but sulk. Who gave in, accepted fate, and never tried to change anything.
Water kills flames.
So why, was the burning she-cat a River clan?
She needed to figure herself out before she started falling in love.
