She perked and slowly looked to him, eyes widening slightly in surprise.

“Course, once you got together with Joey, I stopped attempting to flirt.”

He nodded “I loved you even when we first met. We had so much in common, I thought getting together would be easy... but your heart led to somebody else”

“Heh... it’s ok Cry’s... your heart led you to someone else and you were happy... that’s all that matters” he managed a weak smile

Her eyes weakened, ears flattening sadly.
"I didn't realise..."
