Environment: A low – middle class family, the Young family preached that education and family are very important. To seek a well-paying job to be happy, being parents who could only provide for their children through the means of their small business. The Youngs are very family oriented, nothing is stronger, nor does anyone love you more than your family.

Religious Beliefs: The Youngs raised their children on Christian beliefs while also having parts of their family specifically Catholic. Jackie personally thinks that Catholicism is hypocritical, and even the loosest kinds of Christianity. Ultimately, he is not very religious, unconvinced whether there is or is not a God. He doesn’t make this open to anyone in his family besides his brother and allows them to think what they do on his beliefs.

Political Attitude: Jackie hates politics, they are annoying to him and the fat that people mislabel strong opinions about anything as politics makes him aggravated. He doesn’t believe they should be one and the same, to him politics are about who is running for senate, governor, president, and I am sure you get the idea. He doesn’t categorize himself in anything, though I would say he is liberal.

Movement: A casual, unmeasured pace. He can move like a ghost, you are either unaware of him or simply know his presence is there but otherwise unaffected, neither encouraged nor discouraged to approach him. Then there are also times where he may feel like a parasite or a leech.

Posture: His posture is dependent on his environment. In school and crowded places, he is almost always a tad hunched over his desk or table, stiff, tight. At the apartment however he is more likely to be lazy, loose, and outstretched on the furniture. He is most relaxed and “poised” when working on his art. Hair: blonde with darker roots, brown when wet, either styled or messy, medium-short in length, thick but rich and soft, when maintained you an run your hands through it, but don’t expect the same ease after just waking up or going through something like a hurricane, it’s easily knotted and tangled in circumstances like that, he is liable to dye his hair though when and for how long he sustains the color is unpredictable.

Eyes: brown, nothing amazing, they seem depthless; however, Jackie also wears contacts so his eye color can change.

Skin: Jackie has some red but predominantly yellow undertones, with his skin ranging from fair light to tan, depending on how much sun he gets, he used to white wash but doesn’t anymore, his skin isn’t without it’s imperfections, sightings of far spaced freckles and moles here and there, though they become difficult to detect when he’s tan.

Piercings: Jackie has pierced ears, although he does not always wear earrings, you may notice he only makes a habit of wearing them to events, such as art shows. Multiple points of his ears are pierced for different placements, he does not have gauges.

Tattoos: (1) a black outline of a flip-flop or sandal with the word survivor inside it, located on the right ankle above the lateral malleolus (above the natural protrusion on the outside is your ankle).

Scarring: small cuts on his wrists that have healed but are still perceivable if look at hard enough.

Relationship w/ Relatives: He is closes with his older brother, Jin. What things Jackie cannot share or feel safe sharing with his family he most often can with Jin. Jin has helped Jackie through many things in his life.

Friends: Jackie doesn't like the word friends, and chooses not to have any, though people who would otherwise believe themselves his friends are referred to as 'people he knows' and if he thinks nothing of you than you are someone he does not know. This way of thinking will be understood and explained in character. (open, slow burn- you will not be referred to as a friend even after he has accepted you as a friend**)

Lovers: He has had a couple lovers prior to his current one. Currently he has a (NPC) boyfriend. They seem to have their ups and downs.

Therapist: She is extremely happy, patient, and overwhelmingly positive; it's annoying to Jackie, and he is likely the most cynical with her, he wants to hate her but know he can't because she seems she want's to genuinely help him. Though he constantly knocks her on her job and how therapy just makes him feel more defected.

Pets/Animals: Jackie has been deemed incapable of owning/caring for a pet but he is made to visit a pet cafe as per his therapist

Future Plots: His boyfriend and he will be breaking up at some point. Sometime during the post break-up period his older brother will be flying down to check on his well being and pretty much babysit which Jackie will hate, it'll be funny I swear.

Plot Ideas: After a week or something, the get robbed, or thieves attempt to rob them but a handful if not all of the roommates are still at the apartment.

Notes/Extras:

- "Blondie" is a nickname/tease he was given by earlier classmates and family members when he first died his hair blonde and decided to take it and use it as his Artist name and now signs all his work "Blondie"

- "(My) Brew" is an endearing pet-name used in place of "Dude, Bro, etc" between Jackie and his older brother, Jin.

- The tattoo Jackie has is shared, in the same spot on Jin's ankle. In case you found it confusing it means they've survived years ans instances of being swatted with their mother's shoe.

-He can afford the bills, school and corresponding resources just barely, with that said he can afford instant and pre-made foods eating a cooked meal about once a weak. His favorite instant foods are ramen and mac n cheese, and likes anything home cooked.

-His brother, Jin young, is seen to have his life together, having passed through college and on his way to be a lawyer, having a girlfriend of about 2 years, and a decent living space. His parents often compare them, and try to use it as encouraging Jackie to s different more bread-winning career, unhappy with his choice to change his major in art.
