Claire was a bit worried for the following morning but she got ready for bed like usual and went to sleep.

Nicholas was up most of the night before going to get ready before heading over to Claire's home

Claire woke the next morning, debating a moment as to whether she should try to look a bit nicer for Nicholas before deciding that she would. Although she hoped he wasn’t coming over to break things off with her.

Nicholas mentally prepared what he was going to say. He knew he had to tell her he was a vampire, he just didn't expect this so soon. He did dress up a bit for her thinking it might help

Claire pulled her hair into a bun before waiting for him to arrive.

Nicholas arrived in front of her house parking in front before getting out. "Morning Claire

Claire smiled softly as she saw him, feeling as though he dressed up a bit like she had. “Good morning... do you want to come inside?” She offered.

"I'd love to Claire" Nicholas smiled, his fangs a tad bit more visible"

Claire smiled softly, stepping back to let him in then. She thought she saw his teeth were sharper than most and she recalled the note saying he wasn’t human... but she had to be making things up because of the note, righ? “Come on in,” she offered.

Nicholas walked in nervous about how this would actually go

Claire followed him then, her stomach feeling like it was in knots as her mind went through everything that could happen right now.

Nicholas walked in and sat down. "Claire...promise you won't freak out about what I'm going to do?"

Claire hesitated. "What are you going to do?" She wanted to trust him, and she supposed he couldn't hurt her while he was sitting there. "Okay..."

"Claire...I haven't been fully honest with you. I'm not a human, I'm a vampire and have been alive since the 1500s"

Claire felt her face pale slightly. "So the note was right?" She didn't think he was going to hurt her, she doubted he would have taken her on a date if he was going to.

"Note? What note?" Nicholas asked looking at her confused

Claire went to her room, grabbing the note that had been stuck to her door, giving it to him. "This was on my door when you dropped me off last night."

Nicholas looked at it concerned. "I see the coven's been trying to scare you off"

"The coven?" Claire asked softly, glancing to the note. "I was just going to ignore the note." She admitted.
