  • What happens when a fallen angel and a runaway demon cross paths? Amira was once one of the most respected demons in hell raising to the rank almost equivalent to a general. She was recognized far and wide in hell and even known by a few of the older angel's, Some she's crossed path's with before. After being framed of treason by her lieutenant in an attempt to take her place and imprisoned she,

with the help of a couple of demon still loyal to her, escaped and vanished to earth. For awhile she wondered from place to place avoiding those who once served under her. After awhile the search for her was called off and she found a large city to settle in. Though it may not be as exiting as her old life she found learned to replay on the petty drama of humans to keep her amused. Amira continued to live normally among them until one fateful night she happens across a fallen angel (you can decide the reason.).

Despite being angel and demon they clicked really well. As the two grew closer tension between heaven and hell were also on the rise. With the threat of another war on the horizon the two may once again get dragged into trouble that could have consequence's for both of them.

    AMIRA

  • Okay, so my primary question is who's going to post first IC?

  • I'm ready. And it's fine, I'm not used to PAFP threads since I primarily do group threads, so this is my first in awhile.

  • You, right now I'm a little busy planning out some stuff for the group thread I own. It's already at 7 members in the RP and will probably be at 10 sometime soon if things fall into place as I hope, so as you can imagine I'm putting a lot of my time towards making a small pseudo-community.

  • The one I got going has been relatively active for a few weeks now, sad to say it's started to lose momentum since people are becoming less active than before :(

  • Amira strolled casually through the bright city streets. It was a late Saturday night and the city was bustling with the usual late night crowed full of all sorts of precarious souls. While most people may not appreciate the load, lively, environment of the city life she did. In a small way it reminded her of a form of controlled chaos, much like home. It may not be as exciting but it was certainly freeing.

Amira started to hummed a tune to herself as she slowly started into a less crowed part of the town. Since they were mostly business building the only people around were the few people whom were the unlucky enough to have to work late or those who, like her were simply passing through. She was on her way to work on the other side of the business district.

"I played with fire, I burned it all down... I've made more mistakes than you could count...

The bridges I burned did not stem from me... but rather from those they called the 'enemy'..."

IC: In the middle of an alleyway sat a figure along with his pet bird... At least, that's as they appeared to human eyes. The angels muscular physic and angelic wings didn't show themselves as of the moment, along with the fiery flames around the phoenix accompanying him. For the most part angels and demons looked like normal people to humans when they hid their true forms, allowing him to better blend into society. Though it also meant that he had to pretend to be a homeless man with his malnourished pet bird, the fallen angel slowly lifting himself off of the ground before sighing. The clothes he wore were completely worn and filthy, his hair covered in dirt and grease and his eyes a light grayish blue; more than enough to make him unrecognizable from his angelic form. Not that it mattered, no one on the Earth could recognize him, with the exception of Amira. He yawned and whistled to Chazar before beginning to walk towards the northern part of the business district, waddling along as his stomach started to rumble loudly. Not a feeling he was familiar with, but then again those in the heavens didn't have to worry about eating. It was paradise after all.

"Really got to hate an empty stomach... Hopefully we can find something to eat that isn't rotten or moldy, I could do without the vomiting..." Cinder spoke quietly at his companion before rubbing underneath of the birds chin, an affectionate caw coming from Chazar's beak as the two made their way forward.

  • Amira continued to hum her jazzy 1930's tune as she got further into the high towering buildings. She looked around, observing around her. There wasn't much going on as to be expected. Upon getting close to the northern part she had seen only a hand full of people. Two drunks lost whiling trying to stumbling home, a disheveled business man muttering how his "prick" of a boss was making his life hell (If he only knew) and a cop asleep in his car.

She found herself sighing with mild disappointment compared to last week, when a funny human man tried and miserably failed to mug her. Being away from hell for the past 15 or so years may have left her less powerful then her former self but she still got power and reserve for worst case scenarios. Amira was distracted as she rounded the next corner almost running into a man. Surprised it was a last second effort before she stopped herself just short of him and a few more seconds before she actually looked and noticed him and the bird.

IC: Cinder had a similar reaction upon crossing paths with Amira, though unlike her he began stumbling backwards and fell down; hitting his head on the handle to a dumpster on his way down before groaning in pain. Chazar by that point had jumped from his shoulder and cawed at him, the former angel slowly getting back up as he held a hand to his head. His face was now wincing in pain with an embarrassed undertone hidden beneath, his bird returning to his shoulder and nuzzled against his head sympathetically; his vision now blurred by the tears forming in his eyes.

"Ow that hurt like hell..." He groaned in a painful tone, slowly regaining his sight as he looked at Amira; a slightly puzzled expression forming on his face. He knew that she looked familiar but couldn't remember where... "Sorry if I had startled you... I wasn't expecting anyone to be walking through here." He apologized before continuing forward, though Chazar began to act up a little as he immediately recognized her. He slid past her and kept walking down the alleyway, unbeknownst to him however the wound on his head began to visibly heal itself in a whiteish glow. An immediate red flag indicating he was anything but human. He continued along and navigated the alleyways as if he knew them like the back of his hand, which he technically did from all of the times he watched the humans and their world; heading to a spot he usually frequented for food. Not a restaurant, but a trash bin filled with food from the Chinese Buffet that it sat next to, with a locked up abandoned apartment building. It was the closest thing he had for a home, though he didn't stick around long as the city had began remodeling and repairing the interior; meaning if he stuck around for too long he'd be found and kicked out. He at least made sure that no one knew of his existence in the area outside of the few people too focused on themselves, his slender yet strong hands prying open the trash bin and finding some perfectly good chicken before consuming it; then climbing one of the water drains elegantly and popping in through one of the open windows.

  • Amira watched the man get back up from his fall. The man himself seemed normal, clearly in some need but normal, the bird however seemed less then happy by her. Dismissing the bird she watch the man continue past her after his apology and excuse. It was as she was watching him walk away that she notice something most interesting. She saw the wound from his fall heal in a glow. A small smirk appeared on her lips.

This could be very entertaining or very bad. "It couldn't possibly..." She mumbled to herself. Leaving was probably the smartest option. Risking getting involved could ruin what she has going here but at the same time this is a unquiet opportunity that seems to good to pass up. Against her better judgement Amira fallowed after him. She kept her distance as not to be seen but close enough to fallow.

Unfortunely, she clearly wasn't as familiar with this area as her none human friend. There was never a reason through dark alleyway's. For a short moment she lost sight of him but after a little skill (luck) she found him again as he started climbing through the empty apartment building.

    OOC:

IC: By the time Cinder had reached the top he panted a little bit, feeling a rush of energy flow through him as his angelic wings came out of his back; a little bit more of his power coming to him. Part of the reason he hadn't tried improving his lifestyle was that it allowed him to remain undetected, and eating the food humans wasted provided a benefit to the Earth they lived on; allowing him to refuel his powers as needed. It would make sense after all: Angels become stronger by doing good deeds, and Demons become stronger by committing crimes. Eating what humans did not was enough to keep his power at the same level that he first arrived on Earth, alongside hiding his true form meant that he was slowly gaining power as time progressed; hence allowing him to become stronger and be able to heal himself after an injury as such. He tidied up his hair a bit before sitting down on a worn down mattress, while Chazar revealed his true form as well; the smell of ash lingering towards the window as its flaming wings provided heat for the otherwise cold and empty building. His gaze fell towards the window as he felt Amira's presence, raising an eyebrow as he sighed out of boredom.

"If you're going to follow me, you need to do a better job at it." He called out as he made it apparent that he knew of her presence, sitting up and crossing his legs before awaiting for her to enter through the open window. How he knew her he still didn't know, but at least now he knew that something was off about her. His wings vanished and Chazar returned to his disguised form as well, making them both seem like regular beings simply chilling together.

  • With a small chuckle Amira quickly mad her way up and through the window. Once inside she stood against the wall near where she just cam in from. Replaying the his comment she gave a shrug. She may be a little out of practice but that's neither here nor there. She glanced around the room. "Lovely place you have." The sarcasm evident in her tone. Amira enjoyed the finer things in life and she used all her skills to accomplish that so the idea of someone choosing to live such a life was astounding.

She glanced over the bird the fade scent of ash lingering. Moving on from the bird her gaze landed on the main target of her inquiry. Instead of talking to him right away she simply stared at him with her head slightly tilted. After what seemed like forever of silence she finally addressed him directly. "I was worried today was going to be dull. But then I ran into someone the most fascinating." She paused for a moment with an amused look on her face.

"Or 'something' I suppose is more appropriate to say then someone."

IC: "The only 'something' in this room is the mattress I sit upon, unless you're bold enough to suggest I'm anything but human." Cinder stated in a confused and curious tone, the look in his eye unreadable as he tried to understand who the woman before him was. Unlikely another angel, otherwise he'd be dead since he was still on the run; equally unlikely would her being a demon. That meant that she was either a normal human, or one of the many creatures with magic but live on Earth in secret. "But yes, this apartment is quite cozy once you get used to the dust and lack of proper heating or plumbing, but I'm not one to complain about what I don't have. Especially since everything I once held dear was taken from me, aside from my companion." He retorted in an almost playful tone, Chazar singing briefly as it flew over onto his shoulder. One of its feathers fell off from its wing and floated into the floorboards, now hidden from sight as it turned to ash. The man looked into Amira's eyes as the gears began to turn like clockwork, her face still coming up empty in his memories as she lacked a few key features for it to click. "So what brought you to the resting place of my homeless self? Because I doubt you went through the trouble of climbing up three stories worth of building just to say hi or to talk to me."
