Everyone had their own ways in handling grief, hers was to stand strong and try to do her best in not break down-or distract herself from reality by working extra hard in the clan, so when she had looked at the fresh-kill pile which didn't really need much she hummed and stood up padding into the clearing. "Hey guys Im organizing a hunting patrol-anyone want to go?" she asked. She knew they didn't need to do a hunting patrol but there was no harm in doing one right? Besides she needed to keep her mind off of Moonstar's death-her mentor, friend and motherly figure. Moonstar had been there her whole entire life and now...she was gone-she couldn't comprehend all of this, and every step she took upon this ground she wondered if Moonstar was watching over them, proud of how they're handling everything or attempting to comfort them, Starclan knows-but Featherlight knew they had to stay strong even if it hurt to know their leader was gone from this world and joined starclan-she also knew she had left them in charge with Sheepskin, who she knew would be an amazing leader.
"Im a fool"
She missed Moonstar. The senior warrior had spent the last couple of days thinking about the recent passing of their leader. Sunspots had known them as a warrior and deputy before leader. They had been strong and kind, even helped her when their raid was attacked by rats. But that was moons ago and she was the only one of those warriors left from that patrol. Moonstar and Rosewater were dead, hunting in Starclan. She hoped they were catching things better than rats. That thought brought a light smile to her features.
