  • right??? i did go to cvs when i got off cause i needed a few things but it’s not the same /: people had masks and everything on

I’m sorry.” Collin let his arms hang loosely though he did it with a smile. He knew he could a little aggressive when his affection came rushing out the way it had. “I forget you’re still a little broken.” He smiled a little and straightened the end of Alexander’s shirt that hung around his waist. He had pulled it up a little by mistake. The laughter from Alexander only made it grow wider. “Well didn’t you take advantage of little old me too?” Collin took a step back and tapped the edge of his chin as if he were in deep thought. “I remember a day or so after you came back from the hospital, you asked me to help you take a shower and do you remember what you did then?” Reaching out, he nudged Alexander’s hip gently. “Because I sure do remember what you did. What we did.” Collin leaned in and kissed him quickly after he said it.

Collin watched Alexander turn the tv up, a knowing smile on his face. His fingers dug into the comforter somewhat impatient. They itched to be around his boyfriend. He shifted while Alexander advanced on him, that familiar thrill running through him again. Collin caught his hips and rugged him into his lap then dropped his hands so they rested on the bed below. Alexander could do as he pleased.

    /just leave them to

  • i just needs some normalcy))

Alexander shook his head a little bit then, the smile still on his face. “It’s okay. I can tell you didn’t mean it. You just got to be so excited you couldn’t help yourself any.” He promised. He could completely understand why the other male was hugging him that tightly. He would’ve done the same thing if he was completely healthy. “I will be healed soon enough.” He promised. It was hopefully just a month or so more until he was actually fully healed from this all. He couldn’t wait for that to happen and it showed. He didn’t seem to care about the messiness of his shirt as he didn’t even care trying to fix it. He let out a gentle hum as he heard his words. “Listen, you could’ve stopped me if you truly hated it. But look where it led us.” He pointed out with a big smile.

He did everything that he normally liked to do when he had sex. He made sure to hit every single thing that he could to make Collin happy. He rolled off of him, laying back on the bed. He was panting some, unable to help himself any. “Oh my god, that was the best yet. You—“ He broke off as he let out a happy sound. He rolled to his side so that he was able to look at him. “You were amazing baby. God I love you so much.” He whispered. He pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek then. He knew he needed to get his boxers back on, but he didn’t have the motivation to. “Was it as good as I told you it was going to be? Worth the wait?” He continued to tease some. He was sure that Collin had enjoyed it. The other male had acted like he enjoyed it.

  • maybe if they shut down it’ll run its course and end

You’ll be fine soon.” Collin reached up to brush some of Alexander’s hair. It wasn’t out of place, he just wanted to touch it. “Then we’ll go out, we’ll eat... Spend the day out. You still owe me that hike.” He dropped his hands again and briefly leaned against Alexander, sighing heavily. “I still want to get in touch with mum and dad so they can meet you. We’ll do it tomorrow morning, if that’s okay. I text her earlier and told her we would and she did really. So anytime between eight and eleven in the morning should be fine .” Collin would need to remember that. He missed his parents and was excited to hear their voices and see them again. Collin was excited to let them meet Alexander he too. He found himself gazing at him again, knowing full well that they were going to love him and be excited to meet him. “Oh I never said I hated it baby. Trust me. I couldn’t get you out of the shower and to your room fast enough. But you already know that.” Collin never would have stopped him.

Collin groaned softly when Alexander’s wright was rolled off of him. He moved immediately, grabbing him around the waist and pulling him back into his side. “You are incredible...”, Collin mumbled, his lips brushing the back of his neck. It took his lungs a minute to catch up with his heaving chest. “Fuck.” Rolling over to his side, Collin clutched himself to Alexander’s hot body. No one had ever made him feel that way before. He pushed himself up on one arm and leaned over so he could kiss his boyfriend, stopping to rest his forehead against Alexander’s when he did. “I love you so much...” Collin could have raved over Alexander then but he settled for holding him close in the mess they had made of the bed. He was hot but still held Alexander close to him, murmuring sweet nothings and kissing any part of him he could reach. “Well worth the wait”, Collin added. He smiled even though Alexander couldn’t see and sighed happily as his breathing evened out.

  • that is what i am hoping!))

“Trust me, I can’t wait for that day. When I am fully healed and fully back to normal, we are going to be able to do so much. We can go hiking. We might be able to even go camping if we want.” Alexander’s mind was going through all of the different possibilities that they had. “We could even go to the library and have sex like we wanted. Now that is going to be one of my favorite moments. You have no clue how long I have been wanting to do that.” He admitted. He knew it was an odd thing to look forward too, but he really was so excited. He was just grateful that Collin wasn’t too judgy about it. “That would be nice! I can’t wait to talk with them. Do they speak any English?” He asked curiously. He had no clue if they did or not. He was sure Collin could help translate for him. The more he thought on this all, the more excited he was getting. He raised an eyebrow a little bit as he heard his words. “Mm, I did know that.”

He looked to the other male, feeling as he was pulled over towards Collin. Both of their bodies were sticky with sweat, but it was comfortable for him. “Thank you. I have been saving up to do that for a really long time now. That was just the beginning though baby. I can do so much more. I just need to get back into how I had been before. That will really blow you away.” He admitted in a murmur. His own body was fully relaxed by that point. He really was so happy to have the other male being this close to him once more. “I love you so much too. I’m grateful we worked things out.” He whispered. He shifted to pull the blanket over their lower half’s. He didn’t want for his parents to find out what they had done. “Now we need to restart the movie. It is my favorite and I want you to experience it.”

  • Camping?” The word caught Collin’s attention and he repeated it again. “Camping? I’ve never gone camping before.” The idea of sleeping in any kind of tent had never appealed to his mother and it hadn’t been her first choice of things to do. Collin had always wanted to go but he wouldn’t go alone and his father wouldn’t leave his mother long enough. He smiled at the words. “Sounds like we need to make a trip to the library don’t we? A trip to the library, we fool around- maybe get a book to make our trip less odd - then we could take a weekend for ourselves. Go camping, take a hike... It’s getting warmer so we won’t freeze while we’re messing around.” Collin smirked and kissed Alexander on the head once more. It sounded like a good plan to him. “They can speak a little english. Whatever they can’t understand, I can translate between us and them. Don’t worry about that.” They had had no real reason to learn the language because they weren’t the ones coming to America. But they knew enough to be able to communicate with Alexander as long as it wasn’t too complicated.

Collin lifted his arm enough to let Alexander tug the blanket up over their lower halves before he placed it securely back around him. “You’re going to destroy me, aren’t you...”, he mumbled, kissing the back of his neck a few times. Collin could have lain there with him and slept after that, the movie was nowhere near his mind then. “I love you baby...” At Alexander’s words, Collin pulled his arm from out around him and nodded. He slipped from under the blanket and drug his boxers back up around his hips, the elastic clapping against his skin when he met it go. “I’ll get it.” Collin knelt in front of the tv to be able to restart the movie. It took him a minute- the controls weren’t familiar - but eventually the beginning credits started over. Collin made his way back to the bed and flopped down. The blankets hadn’t settled when he was sliding back under it with Alexander. Collin put his arm right back around him just as he had before he had left the bed.

  • Alexander quickly nodded his head as he heard his words. “Yeah, camping. I think it would be a lot of fun. It could just be the two of us too. There are some really nice cabins we could rent out or we could get a tent. What do you think?” He asked curiously. It was a bit of a far-fetched idea, but he knew that it would be nice for them to experience something like that together. It was beginning to finally warm up there too which was helpful for them. They would be able to not get frostbite if they wanted to do more than what was on a normal itinerary. “That might work out well for us. I’m sure my parents wouldn’t mind for us to be out fo the house for a weekend.” He agreed. The idea of this all was bringing a bright smile onto his face. There was so much that they would finally be able to do together. He hated that he had been forced to be injured at the beginning of their relationship.

He nodded his head some as he heard his words. “As long as I am able to communicate food with them.” He stated. He let out a laugh laugh at his next words. “Maybe, maybe not. You are just going to feel so pleasures you won’t know what to do.” He added happily. He didn’t plan on hurting Collin any whenever they did things like that. He always tried to be nice and gentle. “I love you too.” He whispered. He shifted to get up and pull the boxers on. He immediately moved to lay back down. The comfort of the bed was really nice after everything that they had some. “You are getting to be really good with all of this stuff. It is surprising.” He teased. He expected for the other male to have some issues learning everything over time. He adapted much quicker than he had thought. He moved to cuddle with Collin like he normally did then. “You are so amazing baby.”

  • A small cabin would be perfect. You wouldn’t get cold like that”, Collin mused with a smile. He didn’t mind it either way, tent or cabin, he just wanted to spend the time with Alexander. “I know it’s cooler at night... We could cook, maybe make s’mores outside... Have you ever been fishing?” Collin had enjoyed the activity back at home though he hadn’t had many people aside from his father that had wanted to go with him. “I went bike riding a few times too, I enjoy it.” Collin liked being inside in general but he had taken to spending a lot of time with Alexander indoors. He loved being close to him and having in his arms. Collin would trade holding him over riding a bike down a trail any day. “I don’t see why they would mind. I think i’ve shown them i’m more than capable of taking care of you.” Beating James had worked out for Collin in more ways than one and part of him was glad he had done it. And he would do it again if he ever caught him out, especially with the games he was playing now.

Ill help. Don’t worry. It pays to be bilingual.” He smiled. “Make sure you give me a couple hours warning. I need to be sure that i’m well hydrated. Wouldn’t want to pass out and catch a cramp, would I?” Collin glanced over his shoulder when he heard the rustling of Alexander getting up out of the bed. He watched him for a few moments, admiring his boyfriend with a small smile before turning back. “I just mash buttons until it does what I want”, he admitted with a laugh as he was laying back down. “I can’t understand what some of the buttons say and I like to act like an know what i’m doing.” Collin sat up in the bed while Alexander cane closer to him. He preferred to lie down and hold him but he knew that Alexander had wanted to watch the movie. “Here...” Taking Alexander around the shoulders and waist, Collin tugged him a little higher onto his chest so that he was able too see. “You think i’m amazing...”, he murmured as he watched it. Collin played in Alexander’s already messy hair while he did.

  • “Yeah. It can get really cold and night and I don’t want for either of us to get a chill. It would suck if we got sick on top of this all.” Alexander admitted with a chuckle. This all would be quite a bit of fun though. It would just be nice to get away with the other male though. “S’mores sounds great. I have been fishing when I was really young. I don’t remember it, but we can try to go fishing again.” He offered. He was sure that Collin would be fine with doing it as well, especially since he mentioned it. “There are some really nice biking trails near here too. Some of the views are really nice from them. I am sure we can get bikes and go out biking.” He assured. All of the suggestions the other male was giving out made him feel even more excited. He nodded a little as he shifted to look at him easier. “That’s true. I doubt that they would mind us going at all. We just need to ask them.”

A bright smile came to his lips. “It does help. I will make sure that you are plenty hydrated too. We can hydrate you in more than one way.” He winked started him. It was clear to see what he meant with his words. He let out a laugh and leaned over to kiss his cheek. He could feel his eyes on him when he stood, but didn’t comment on it. He stated at Collin’s body just as much as the other male stated at him. It was one of the perks of the two of them dating. He raised an eyebrow as he crawled back into the bed. “Really? Well you look really confident when you take care of everything. You just ruined your confident exterior.” He teased lightly then. He appreciated the way that he shifted to hold him so that they both were able to see the movie. “I know you are amazing. I could tell you why, but then you won’t have anything else to hear later on.” He whispered. The playing with his hair helped a lot.

  • Maybe we ought to get a tent then.” Collin nudged him. “If you’re cold and i’m cold then we have even more of a reason to be closer.” But he would admit that sleeping in a cabin where the door locked and they were together in a soft bed with hotel quality sheets sounded much more appealing. “Maybe next weekend we can go. We can call ahead and set it up, get the food in the way so we don’t have to leave once we’re there.” Collin pictured what he thought the cabin would have looked like. There was a back porch that would open to the lake that he could watch from the steps. The cabin itself would be small; a single bedroom with a bathroom, a tiny kitchen that they would have to dance around one another to move through it. There would be a small cozy area, smaller than a regular living room. It would be small and comfortable; perfect for them. “We have to do it now. That can be our first trip together, what do you think?” They needed to make memories and that seemed like a good place to add.

Collin, surprised by the blunt statement, laughed out loud and shook his head. “That is something I didn’t expect to hear you say but I like it”, he finally said when the red had faded from his cheeks. Collin adjusted the blankets around them once more. He liked the feeling of Alexander’s bare skin, warm against his own, as they relaxed. He watched the movie, occasionally looking between the tv and his boyfriend. It was okay. It wasn’t too far in and he knew he needed to give it a chance. “Tell me later. Let’s watch this.” He knew Alexander was excited to show it to him. Collin kissed his head and tried to focus on the tv.

  • sorry! I thought I responded to this and breaking bad!))

Alexander shrugged his shoulders slightly as he heard his words. “Honestly I am fine with whatever you want to do. We can get either a tent or a cabin. I’m just looking forward to getting to spend a weekend alone with you.” His words were sincere. He was looking over at him with a light smile on his face. “We could just make the cabin super cold and cuddle that way.” He offered. He was leaning towards renting a cabin a bit more than using a tent. The cabin was a lot safer and he wouldn’t have any worries about anyone finding them, much less James. “That sounds amazing. We will get a cabin and set it all up. I’ll ask my parents to help find a really nice one for us.” He commented. He was able to picture everything that they could do that weekend too. It was easy to see that he was already looking forward to it and it hadn’t even been booked yet. “I can’t wait.”

His smile spread to a grin when he saw Collin’s reaction to his words. He loved being able to surprise people, especially Collin. He made a mental note to try and get the cabin set up in a very romantic style for the two of them. It would be a nice treat for the other male, that much he was sure of. “Always expect the unexpected babe. That is something you will need to get used to when you are with me.” He murmured. He shifted to be closer to him, adjusting his head some more so that it was a bit more comfortable as well. His eyes were completely focused onto the screen though. He even mouthed along to parts of the movie. There were so many movies that he wanted to show the other male. He was sure they could spend an entire week having a movie marathon together.

  • no worries!

//do you mind if i skip ahead to the next morning? collin can go to get his clothes out of the dryer - because he’s based very much off of myself and forgot - and he passes, he can see something in the kitchen? i was thinking a base of flowers and a kite from james? because he always got alex flowers after he was mean to him (in the beginning before it got bad)

  • i don’t know what the hell was wrong with me when i was typing that because i didn’t see any of the word and spelling errors until just now

Collin had spent the rest of the evening wrapped up with Alexander. They had watched the movie- it wasn’t what he would call a favorite but he did smile and nod when Alexander asked if he had liked it. Collin was more of a horror and thriller type guy. They had watched the sequel before Collin suggested they watch something else, maybe an action movie. A few hours passed before Mary had knocked on the door to tell them dinner was ready. The conversation at the table was much more relaxed than the morning and he was relieved. When they finished, Collin volunteered to clean the kitchen before he went and crawled back into Alexander’s arms. He liked to hold his boyfriend but sometimes Collin wanted to be held too. He had dozed off for awhile before Alexander woke him so they could get ready for bed. They had bid the parents goodnight and went to bed together. Collin, with both arms curled protectively around Alexander, slept better that night than he had in days.

Collin woke early that next morning, before nine. He lifted his head to see that he had rolled over in his sleep and was half on top of Alexander, his left arm and leg tossed over him while his head rested on the pillow above his right shoulder. Ive probably been squishing him all night he thought with a smile. Collin kissed his cheek before pulling away, careful not to wake him. He adjusted the blankets again before leaving the room and heading to the bathroom. Collin used and brushed his teeth and cleaned his face while his was in there. He had intentions of taking a shower but couldn’t; his clothes were still downstairs. “Of course I forgot...”, Collin muttered. His feet made no sound as he took the stairs two at time to get to the bottom. Nothing sounded from the kitchen and he couldnt smell any coffee. Collin knew he was the only one awake that early. He passed through the doorway to the kitchen because he had to get through to the dryer from there. Something caught his eye as he passed but it didn’t register until he was opening the dryer door. Collin frowned and backtracked. Flipping the kitchen light on showed him exactly what he had seen. Morning light cast a rainbow shadow on the counter as it passed through the crystal vase that sat there. Collin could see green stems inside, clipped at angle on the bottom. The flowers were carnations if every color, a very pretty arrangement. But he didn’t smile. Collin could see a small note sticking out from the top. He took it, feeling a nervous knot form in his stomach. It was addressed to Alexander. Collin dropped it. Again, he had the first thought to throw them away and hide them but he had made a promise. Collin turned and hurried to Edward and Mary’s closed door and knocked but didn’t wait for answer. They would get up and see that the kitchen light was on. He took the stairs two at a time again until he was back in he room they had shared. Collin swallowed and sat in the small space beside Alexander. “Baby... You need to wake up...” Collin shook him gently, admiring the peaceful look on his face. He knew it would be gone in five minutes.

  • i honestly didn’t notice any??? cx))

Alexander truly had appreciated the low-key night that the two of them had shared together. It was exactly what they had needed after the crazy day that had been spent together. He was so pleased to hear that Collin liked Back To The Future that he had just gotten up and slid the sequel in before the other male could speak. He seemed to enjoy it as well, but he wouldn’t push to make him watch the third one just yet. That was until his mother got them for dinner. He went downstairs and ate more than he had earlier. It was obvious that he was feeling ten times better than he had before. He just cuddled him when they were finally back to the bed. They adjusted fully before they decided to go to sleep that night. He didn’t mind being the one held. It made all of his worries go out of his mind and he actually slept ten times better than he had in a very long time.

He didn’t notice that the other male had rolled over to lay halfway on him over night. He was just so comfortable and so relaxed that it made him really content. He woke up only when the other male shook him. A soft frown came onto his lips. “Mm, what’s up baby?” He asked softly. He was clearly still half asleep. He reached a hand up to rub at his eyes then. His voice was gruff with the sleep that he still felt. He slowly sat up and then carefully got himself standing. He leaned closer to the other male as they walked. “Why are we going to the kitchen? Did you make me breakfast?” He asked in a teasing tone. He slowly pulled away from him when he saw the flower. He walked forward and then grabbed the note. He read through it then. He quickly dropped it and stumbled back to Collin.

  • Collin didn’t reply to Alexander while he followed him down. His fingers, holding the banister, scratched into the dark wood until he reached the end of it. I wish it was breakfast that I had fixed. I wish that was why i’m waking you up. He stayed behind Alexander, eyes finding the note over the top of his shoulder. He hadn’t opened it, he didn’t want too. Collin didn’t want to know what was written on that small slice of paper. He reached Alexander just as he stumbled back. Collin caught him and immediately wrapped his strong around him, keeping him in place so he wouldn’t fall. “I just found these...”, Collin muttered, twining his own fingers together around Alexander so hopefully he wouldn’t break free and hurt himself. “I... I don’t know how he got in...” He didn’t know what to say- the words wouldn’t come. Collin could see the fear on Alexander’s face. It looked like it was fear. It looked the same as it did on Collin’s face. He could see his reflection on the plastic cover on the outside of the microwave. Behind him, the sound of the other door opening came. Collin didn’t turn.

The sharp knock on the door had woken Mary before her husband. She stirred, checking the time and calling to ask if everything was okay. When no answer came, she shook her husband and woke him. “Ed, get up.” Mary was pulling her robe on and leaving the room when he got up. Edward moved faster when he heard her gasp. He could hear Collin speaking. From behind his bedroom door, he grabbed his gun and ran out, still groggy from sleep. “Wha’is it...?” Edwards vision cleared slowly and when it did, he could clearly see the crystal vase sitting on the counter. At first he thought it was Collin but he could see by the pajamas that still hung around the guys shoulder that that wasn’t the case. Edward frowned and sat the gun on the counter. He grabbed the note and without opening it, ripped it into shreds. Throwing it into the counter, Edward took the vase and threw it. It shattered into a million pieces, the flowers dropping to the floor. “How the fuck is he getting into our house! Mary, call the police. Now.” Edward turned to where Collin was holding his son.

  • Alexander’s expression was tired as he walked down the stairs with the other male. It was tired, but it was happy. Having Collin back beside him made him feel so much more relaxed. It was almost like nothing could go wrong. That is why he thought going downstairs with his boyfriend would lead to something really good for him. Little did he know that it was the exact opposite. His mood quickly changed and he looked terrified as he stumbled back into Collin’s arms. His eyes had watered and widened. His body was shaking some as well. He shook his head a little bit as the other male continued to speak to him. He wanted to try and break away so that he could run upstairs back to his bedroom. He wanted to hide away under his covers and act like this never happened. He wanted to just forget about James. He leaned back into Collin more then.

“He used to leave me a vase of flowers whenever he was rude to me and tried to apologize. He did that before he became a jerk though. I don’t know why he would do it now.” He whispered. It made absolutely no sense. He turned his head to look towards the entrance to the kitchen when his parents rushed into the room. He was shocked to see that his father was carrying a gun. His father never brought the gun out. It made him really worried. He just moved closer to Collin then. He needed his comfort now more than ever. It didn’t help when his father threw the vase. He winced, getting reminders of what James used to do to him. The tears began to fall then. The yelling didn’t help either. “I can’t be here. I-I need to get out of here.” He whispered. His voice held some panic and it was obvious to see the effects of it all now.

  • Collin, take Alexander. Anywhere but here.” Turning, he saw Mary leaning away from him. Collin looked back down at Alexander, hearing the words he was saying. So it wasn’t the first time that James had left flowers about for him. He could see Mary leave the room from the corner of his eye. She returned just as quick with her phone, glancing at Collin before she lit the screen.’Take my car and go’ she mouthed. Mary looked to be waiting for something and Collin took that as his cue to go. “I’ll get you out of here. Come on.” Collin took Alexander by the hand and pulled him from the room, away from the shattered vase and broken flowers and the shredded note. He tugged Alexander back upstairs and helped him sit. Collin went to the closet immediately and grabbed one of his heavy hoodies that had ended up there. “Pull this on.” He grabbed the next one he saw- a black one- and put it on. Collin wouldn’t bother changing out of his pajamas. He wanted to get out of the house before the police arrived and tried to ask him ten thousand questions about James. Or the vase. Or anything else that had happened.

Collin grabbed his phone then Alexander’s and snatched his charger from the wall- both of their wallets- before grabbing Alexander’s hand again and taking him from the room. “I think we’ll spend the next few nights out at one of those cabins”, he said when they neared the bottom. Collin could see Mary’s silver car key hanging alongside the house key on the table by the door. He didn’t know how they would get clothes and toiletries but he would worry about that later. Collin brought Alexander out of the house and straight for the car, unlocking it before he got in. He kept himself in a hurry until they were out on the road. “Baby... I need you to tell me where to go...”, he said after they had been gone for five minutes. Collin reached across and took his hand, leaning across the console long enough to kiss it. “Tell me where to go to rent one of the cabins baby. We’ll stay there for a few day’s, just me and you, okay?” Collin couldn’t do much to comfort him in the car. He had been able to hear the panic in Alexander’s voice.

  • Alexander could barely hear his mother and father’s words. His mind had gone into full shut down and panic mode. Normally seeing flowers like that made him feel really happy, even in a vase like that. They were so beautiful, but this all was just so terrible now. He doubted he would be able to see flowers the same way now. The situation was quickly growing to be urgent and he could see that this was probably the worst thing that James had done so far. He broke into their house and had put this here. It could be considered very threatening. He hoped that the police saw it that way. “Thank you.” He whispered. He hurried up the stairs with him. The situation made him feel numb. He didn’t know how to react to any of it now. He felt speechless.

He carefully put the hoodie on that the other male had given him. Collin’s familiar scent hit him. It was enough to relax him some more. He allowed the other male to drag him out of the room and to the car. He didn’t even seem conscious to everything that was happening around him anymore. He snapped out of it when the cold air hit him. A light frown came to his lips, but he carefully got into the car. He buckled up then. He held onto his hand tightly as they drove off towards the cabins. “Um, keep taking this until the highway. Turn right onto it and head that way for like seven miles. Take the exit. Turn left and we will be in the National Park. They will have to see my park pass, but they will let us go to the cabins. There will be the main building and you can go in and get a cabin for us.” He directed him every step of the way. His voice was a bit monotone. He carefully got out when they were finally at the cabin. He didn’t bother getting out when Collin went in to get them a cabin. He just began to stumble towards the door.

  • Collin did as he was told, driving quickly and never missing a turn when Alexnader pointed it out. Clouds gathered in the sky above them and were growing darker when he stepped out of the car to go into the main building. “Lock it behind me”, he had said before closing his door. Alexander’s park pass was in his had. Collin had taken it from his wallet before leaving the vehicle and going inside. There weren’t many people: one was leaving the counter and another was chatting with a woman behind the counter. Collin shifted his weight back and forth impatiently on his heels before he got his turn. “I... I would like a cabin...” Collin hadn’t done anything by himself in the States, much less rested a cabin. Had he said it right? The man behind the counter lifted his gaze when he heard the foreign accent but nodded. “Would you like it with a view of the lake or surrounded by the woods?” Collin chose the one by the lake. It looked more open judging by the pictures and he could keep an eye on their surroundings easier. The man told him the total and Collin passed three larger bills to him, still unsure of the currency. He was surprised but took what he needed then gave Collin the change and the keys.

Once in the car, he followed the black signs around curves and small speed bumps until he came to the cabin that had the same number as the key. “Here we are...”, he murmured softly. Stopping the car, he put it in park before leaving. He hurried to Alexander’s side and held his hand out. When he had taken it, Collin led him up the steps and unlocked it. The cabin was warm and comfortable when he closed the door behind them. Collin locked it, immediately moving around the small area to check all of the windows and the door that led out of the back. Everything was locked tight. He dropped their wallets onto the counter along with the key before he turned to his boyfriend. Collin moved and took him tight in his arms, tugging him to the couch where he sat. He brought Alexander into his lap so he could hold him. “You know i’m going to protect you from him babe...”, Collin murmured. He kissed his head and murmured something else before nudging his head up. Alexander was quieter than usual; he understood why. “I know I haven’t done all that good and i’m sorry for that....” He realized James had gotten into the house twice since Collin had said he would protect him. He suddenly felt guilty.

  • Alexander stayed as quiet as he could the entire drive except for giving the instructions that he needed to tell him. His mind was still in a complete state of numbness and panic. He knew that this was completely over-the-top from James. The other male had actually broken into the house to put the flowers there for him. The note had been vague and he couldn’t decide if it was an apology or a death sentence. He quickly locked the door when he was told to, waiting for his boyfriend to return. His body began to shake without him even realizing. His breaths were growing more uneven too. He refused to cry though. He wouldn’t shed more tears on James. He adjusted his arms to hug onto the hoodie that was on him. He unlocked the doors when Collin finally came back to him. He still didn’t speak though.

He looked to the cabin when they finally pulled up. He unbuckled and took Collin’s hand. He stuck as close to him as he could as they asked. He appreciated the fact that Collin locked everything and checked to make sure that other things were locked. He didn’t want for anyone to come in on them anymore. He needed to just finally get away from James. He stood awkwardly as the other male rushed around to check everything. He finally relaxed some when he came back and tugged him towards the couch. He pulled his legs up on the couch with him. He stayed on his lap, resting his face in the crook of his neck. “Don’t apologize. He is just crazy. You can’t do anything to stop him from breaking in. T-Thank you for bring me here.” He whispered. He turned his head to look up at him then. He offered him half of a smile.
