If people are intimidated by the man's appearance then they certainly better watch out for his personality. Elias often appears cold, gruff and uncaring so as to avoid unwanted attention and to distance himself from folk. The man radiates with an authoritative nature and occasionally throws it around to get his own way. Elias is hot-headed, thus incredibly quick to anger and is not afraid to get his fists out.

Anti-hero is a good trope to describe him. Elias will help the poor and downtrodden as much as he can, ideally without making it known that it was him.

Elias is brimming with sarcasm and has a snarky remark for most things. Those that know him speak of his sense of humour, though the man only shows it off when he feels like it. Most people wouldn't know it, but the man is actively trying to mellow himself out.

History:

Elias was born in the waters of Bassenthwaite Lake in the Lake District, England. His father, an established sea-captain, brought his young family over to the American colonies in the hopes of establishing a merfolk haven. His father hid his children inside the boat, only letting them out at night where he and his wife taught them the vital lessons of the sea. When the twins appeared visibly to be 4 years old, they were finally allowed into the human world.

Elias took to life on deck like, well, a fish to water. He spent years travelling with his family or the steadily building crew of merfolk across the waves to many exotic and interesting countries. However, of course, disaster struck. A particularly well co-ordinated attack by pirates left Elias alone. His father was confirmed to have died in the attack, though his twin sister and older brother remain unaccounted for to this day.

Troubled by the great losses in his family, the boy was afraid to return home to his mother. Instead, he chose to join other boats and succumbed to the alluring embrace of alcohol and gambling. He grew to be more and more aggressive, more hateful and more sloppy in concealing his true form.

A drunken brawl on the docks of Port Royal sent he and his three attackers tumbling into the water. Being intoxicated, the man couldn't fight off the change. The many onlookers of the fight, as well as just about the whole of Port Royal became aware of a merman in their midst. Elias fled and ended up far from his original crew. His interest was piqued by the cryptic notice and has decided this is his 2nd 5th chance.

Personality: One word could be used to summarize Keigo: easygoing. Want one of his feathers? Yeah, sure, go for it. Feel like ranting? He's willing to lend an ear. Romantic and sexual advances? Hell yeah, dude. Random note promising adventure? Count him in. He's a "live in the moment" type of guy, existing without a care for the impending future. He's quite gregarious and he loves to talk—so much, in fact, that he can uphold a one-sided conversation with himself. He's also got a flair for the dramatics; if there's any given opportunity for a dramatic entrance, he'll definitely take it. Despite his laid-back attitude, he's quite a considerate person and harbors immeasurable faith in humanity.

History: As far as he can remember, Keigo has always been interested in weaponry—especially because it impresses both chicks and dudes. It wasn't a surprise to anyone when he decided to pursue his interests; the decision came as easily as flying did to him. And his path to weaponry led to boredly viewing the town's notice board, where a small slip of paper attracted his attention.

Personality: persephone is a picture perfect representation for a stone cold bitch. her facial expression is, for lack of a better term, of indifference. persephone is quiet, not because she is shy, but because she prefers not to get involved. reserved, frosty, and distant, percy doesn't like to meddle in the affair of others, preferring to stay on the sidelines and watch things progress from afar, however if she needs to step in, she won't hesitate, punishing the wrongdoer without hesitation. she tends to come off as unfeeling and cold-hearted, she doesn't really care what happens to others, as long as she prevails in the end. if it's not obvious, she lacks in loyalty, often switching side to those in favor of winning at that particular moment. she is blunt and honest and will tell you exactly what she is thinking, she won't hold anything back. brisk, impatient and often in a hurry, she can lack in subtlety and tolerance, becoming quite carried away at times. autonomous, frank and direct, she doesn't give in easily and can be argumentative. proud and conceited, she would like to be the best at everything. if she doesn't manage to land the role she desires, she will still win in a way by becoming the leader of the opposition. she can be uncompromising and is hardly submissive; however she only admires and respects those who she judges to be stronger than her.

History(opt): lady persephone was born to the marquess demetrius calder and his former mistress, lady elodie darling. she was born into a long-line of dragon breeders and tamers, so it came as no surprise when the young lady had a knack when it came to dragons. she would often spend most of her time with the dragons rather than with her family. the marquess often dismissed his youngest daughter, which made her connection towards dragons stronger. at the age of sixteen, her mother passed away. she was an ill woman who simply could go on no longer. her mother was the only thing keeping her tied to the place of her birth, so when elodie passed away, she took the dragon she had helped hatched and claimed as her own, solas, as left her home in search of something new.

Personality: "hahahahaha, yeah sure. you're a funny one, ya know that?" faustus is an extraordinarily rambunctious individual, what with his slurred and thick irish dialect, his raging alcoholism, and inability to sit still for more than two minutes. he's outrageously mischievous and quick-witted, easily able to talk himself out of things. he's the kind of guy to talk himself in and out of trouble actually, and that wide mouth of his has gotten him into some nasty fights. he doesn't clean himself much, and he can't live without rum. he always wears this large tattered crimson coat no matter what the weather, because 'red don't look too bad with blood on it.' he's an outrageous character with so much love and fierce protectiveness in his heart. speaking of love, the man will sleep with anyone who gives him even the slightest glimpse of affection.
