Muse A is excited to finally be out of college and have her degree. To celebrate she calls up her best friend Muse B to go on a little vacation. It wasn't uncommon for the two of them to travel around due to the fact Muse B was raised in a rich family. No one had expected Muse A and B to be friends due to their conflicting backgrounds. Muse A grew up in a middle class family who worked hard to get where they were, while Muse B lived in a nice neighborhood with old family money in the back. She was not a snob, she worked hard to find her own path in life without her parents help. Muse A is not the most social person and can be a bit rude at times, but Muse B loves her either way. The two of have been together since they were in the second grade, so they have behaved more like sisters.
Anyway, back to that vacation. Muse A and B love to travel, they like to explore the different cultures across the world. The pair have yet to visit China (other options are Korea and Japan) though, and this because of one tiny problem. They don't know the language. The pair like to be at least somewhat knowledgeable on the language before they go to the new country so they at least know the basics. This time Muse A and B decided to bit the bullet and go anyway, plus they could just hire someone to show them around who knows English. They get there and everything is going great. Their guide is nice and answers all their questions. Then things start to roll down hill. Muse A and B loose their guide and so now they are wandering the streets with the little knowledge on the language they have. Along they way they wander their way into a little shop. Working the counter is a sweet little old lady bonus she speaks English, course she is saying weird things about destiny and changing one's fate. Be the end of the visit Muse A and B are throughly freaked out and decide it is time try and find their way back to the hotel.
Once Muse A and B step outside the tiny shop they are no longer in the beautifully lit up city instead they were standing on a dirt path. Surrounded by buildings that looked they came out of history documentary. After a brief panic they rush back into the shop to ask granny what the hell just happened. The Grandma explains to them that they have been transported to feudal China (or Korean, or Japan). Their task is play match maker. Introducing Muse C and D. Muse C the heir to throne doesn't really want to be king because he doesn't believe he will properly lead the people. Muse D is the prince's personal body guard, basically a slave to the royal family to ensure his families safety. These two men happen to be in love with the same girl. Muse A and B have to find a way to find which is the girl's true love in order to go home. In process they most avoid death due to corrupt royals and nobles.
Muse C and D meet the two girls by complete accident really but they find themselves drifting away from the other girl and over to the stranger foreigners. Even though these foreigners barely speak their language.
Pairing ideas (can be changed):
Muse A x Muse C
Reason: Muse C is charmed by the not so social middle class girl. Finding her smarts intriguing. He is curious about how her life was since she grew up middle class. He finds her a little strange and her lack of knowledge on the language cute.
Muse B x Muse D
Reason: Muse B is basically a princess with the way she grew up. At first Muse D doesn't really like Muse B because he thinks she is a brat even if he has never properly talked to her. He begins to like her after she stands up for him despite not knowing what to say.
Notes-
- For the characters, I would like to ask for realistic face claims
- My writing level, is semi-advanced to advanced
- I'm kind of chatty ooc so I hope you don't mind
- I decided to do feudal China, Korea, or Japan because I think that time period is a fun time and I don't see it all that often.
