Muse A was born and raised with a perfect life, a rich girl. Everything she needed in life was provided by her parents. She never had to work a day in her life, only had to do what her parents said and live a life of luxury. So when she was set up with a parents' friend and they were very quickly engaged, everyone expected Muse A to go through with the wedding.

But Muse A has always wanted free, and so instead of going through with the i do's, she runs away from her wedding, gets on a bus, and heads to the nearest big city.

Muse B owns a coffee shop. She's an honest, hard worker who's been through it all. When a ragged girl in a wedding dress appears in her shop and asks for a job and a place to stay, Muse B knows its a bad idea to give the girl what she wants. But she's foolishly kind enough to help out the poor woman.

This is going to be interesting.

//so basically your character (muse a) has run away from her wedding and ends up in my character (muse b)'s coffee shop, looking for a new life. the two will stay together while my character teaches yours to live in the real world, and soon a romance will start to bloom. leave a short form for muse a and we can get started :)

    Tia Wiles

The morning was like any other, a part of the simple and easy routine that Tia had let herself fall into. The girl woke before dawn and jumped up as soon as she was concious, rushing to get ready and head down the stairs of her apartment into the coffee shop below. The store that was her safe haven. It was serene as she put down the chairs and wiped off the tables and made sure the coffee and soda machines were working. One thing after another, the girl went down the list of small chores until the store was ready to open. She flicked on the glowing OPEN sign with a feeling of triumph and stepped behind the counter.

Most mornings were slow; Soon businessmen would come in for their morning cup of Joe, and college students from the nearby university would grab some caffeine and sit down to do some homework. But for the first half hour, there was rarely a customer who came in, and her other employees wouldn't be showing up for while.

So when the bell jingled and Tia heard footsteps, the girl looked up with some amount of interest at the first customer of the day, a bit earlier than usual.

She was not expecting to see a tired stranger in a wedding dress before her.

    Certainly, that was not routine.

    Margaret Ruth

Nothing was going the way Margaret had planned, today. Today was supposed to be the first day of the rest of her life, but instead, she was barging into a coffee shop in a now-completely ruined dress, and red tear stained cheeks. She was ready for a new beginning- one away from the life she was living, where everyone expected her to do everything a certain way. Margaret wanted to be free to make her own decisions, and live life how she saw fit.

Holding up her dress, Margaret walked to the front counter. “Um, hello...Tia,” she said, looking at the woman’s name tag. “Is an owner around, or perhaps someone I could talk to about a job, and maybe a good place to stay?” She said the last part half to herself. She slicked her few stray hairs down, and wore her best smile she could.

Tia looked over the girl in front of her with her mouth slightly open. She looked like something out of a movie; Mascara running down her face, somehow highlighting her beauty, and a wedding dress draped over her. "Oh," she said as she was called back to reality and listened to the girl's questions.

"I'm the owner," she said with a small smile as she pulled an application out from under the counter and slipped it onto the table. She was always looking for some help, and as unconventional as the girl in front of her was, Tia wasn't about to keep her from applying.

Her ears caught on to the end of her sentence--she needed a place to stay? This story was quickly complicating itself. The poor woman before her, all beautiful clothes and tear stains, had no home to go back to? "You could stay at my place," Tia said despite herself. It was a stupid thing to blurt out. She didn't even know this woman. But Tia couldn't simply put her out on the street.

Margaret graciously accepted the application and grabbed up a pen. Her eyes widened when the young girl offered her own place up for her to stay in. “Oh, I-I couldn’t impose...” she trailed off. She knew she didn’t have too much of a choice, but she knew how unprofessional she must seem- not to mention the fact that it was very clear she just ditched her own wedding. Where else would she go, if not with Tia? At least she seemed like the type that Margaret would get along with. “You’re too kind, really.” She smiled weakly at the girl. She was having quite possibly the worst day of her life, but a bit of kindness goes a long way

The smile that spread across the girl in front of her was all worth it, all the doubt in Tia's mind fading away, or at least most of it. "Well," she sighed, propping up her head on her arm, "I couldn't exactly put you out in the state you're in, could I?" She looked over the girl carefully. "Err, what exactly happened, getting you into this situation?" Tia couldn't deny her own curiosity as to how the girl before her got into this mess.

Tia’s cheery smile brightened Margaret’s spirits, just enough that she didn’t bother to get upset about her question. “I realized I wasn’t with someone who made me happy,” she sighed. It was the truth. She was set to marry a man she felt she barely knew, simply out of obligation. Fortunately, she came to her senses before the I Do’s. “I guess it was one hell of a time to realize it, though.” She mustered up a chuckle at herself.

Tia rose her eyebrows at the answer, letting a soft laugh escape her lips; so the woman before her really was a runaway bride. Tia had always assumed stuff like that only happened in movies. "Well," Tia sighed, "At least you realized. Divorce would've been a lot more expensive than a wasted wedding." She leaned back, resting her hands on her hips. "...Would you like to change? It's hard to conduct a business interview wearing a wedding dress, after all. And I'm sure you'd feel better in something else, considering."

Margaret couldn’t help but laugh a bit at Tia’s words. She had no idea just how much money had gone into the wedding dress alone, than she was wearing, let alone the entire wedding itself. She looked down at her soiled wedding dress, slightly embarrassed that this was all she had to her name right now. “I-urm,” she stumbled nervously. “This is all I have with me.” Her face was slightly red from blushing.

Tia rose her eyebrows as she looked down at the dress. "I wouldn't expect that," she teased, "from such a classy lady like yourself." She looked over Margaret and gave a curt nod. "Well, we look about the same size--My clothes may be a bit baggy. But you could borrow a t-shirt and some shorts for a while, if you'd like." The business part of Tia was cursing her for being so informal, but she couldn't help but want to help the woman before her. It's what she would've wanted from someone else, if she'd been in the same situation.

A wide smile spread across Margaret’s lips. She was amazed at how kind the woman was being to a complete stranger. It really was a start for Margaret putting things into perspective. “Goodness,” she let out a sigh of relief. “I could just kiss you!” She had never been met with such kindness from someone she knew, let alone a stranger.

Tia blushed and looked down at the counter. "It's no trouble," she said with a small laugh as she stepped out from around the counter. The shop was empty, and it would be for a while; She would hear the bell from upstairs if someone did step in. Tia led Margaret to the stairs and showed her up to her apartment, feeling herself get embarrassed at the state of the place. "Sorry for the mess," she laughed as she stepped into her room and threw open her dresser, quickly snatching up some clothes and giving them to Margaret. "Err, the bathroom is over there, if you'd like to change in there."

    Margaret Ruth

Margaret looked around the apartment, clearly not used to mess being present. However, she was in no position to criticize the way someone lived, when she had no home of her own. “It’s charming,” she replied. She graciously accepted the clothes, and looked towards the bathroom. “I appreciate the privacy, but it took four girls to get me into this thing, you think you could help me out? I know it’s completely unprofessional, but we’re both women...and soon to be roomies.” She smiled an almost coy smile at Tia. She knew she wouldn’t be able to remove her gown herself, even if she ripped it off.

{peaceful power play here, forgive me}. Margaret couldn’t see Tia’s face as she began to unfasten, unstrap, and unzip every portion of her dress. As crazy as it seemed, with every notch as the dress undid, she felt more free, until she was completely stripped down to her lace undergarments that were specially made from the excess dress. Previously, she was facing away from Tia so she could undo her dress, but as soon as it was off, she turned to face the woman who helped her. “Thank you,” she breathed, pulling Tia into a hug, allowing in to linger a bit. She pulled back and looked at Tia, unable to speak. Her heart started racing, and her palms were growing sweaty. What on Earth was she feeling?

Tia gave a small nod at the request and moved behind Margaret to help her out of the dress; She had never been in an outfit like her's before, but she didn't doubt that it was difficult to get out of by oneself, and she realized that as soon as she began to go through the steps of pulling the dress off. Tia blushed as she watched Margaret finally pull the dress off and turn around. She was thoroughly shocked by the hug, but returned it, wrapping her arms around the woman in front of her. "Of course," Tia said with a smile as Margaret pulled away, "it's nothing." Tia was almost breathless as she spoke. She found herself wishing she could've prolonged the hug, stayed closer to Margaret for a moment longer. She turned away and pushed those thoughts from her mind.

Margaret smiled as she pulled the clothes onto her body. She never expected to be so lucky and meet someone so kind, and giving. The attire she was strutting now was different than those she normally wore, but she was just happy to have some different clothes. There were not possibly enough words to thank Tia. “How do I look?” She asked, striking a sexy pose. She couldn’t help but laugh at herself- she really was free.

Tia giggled along with Margaret, laughing at her pose. "You look gorgeous," she said, "and certainly, much more comfortable than you were before." She sat back on her heels and put her hands on her hips. "So," she said, "you want a job and a place to stay?" She gave a cocky grin. "You're lucky I'm looking for workers; You're hired, if you can figure out how to brew a cup of coffee. And my couch is always open, if you're willing to stay in a dump like this."

Margaret’s eyes widened and she clasped her hands together, letting out a high pitched excited squeal. “Oh my gosh, I’m so lucky this was my first stop off of that smelly bus,” she exclaimed. “It’s like...it’s like it was destiny.” She grinned from ear to ear. Margaret was a firm believer in faith and destiny— it’s what keeps her going on most days, and it’s certainly what told her to leave that chapel today. She was meant to meet Tia, and she was very thankful she had.

Tia giggled as she listened to Margaret. "Maybe it is," she said with a smirk. Tia had never been any kind of faithful, but she couldn't deny that the circumstances did seem to be fate--if not, a very strange set of coincidences that sent Margaret her way.

Tia froze as she heard the distance sound of a bell from downstairs. "Looks like we've got customers," she said, already heading to the stairs. "I hope you don't mind starting your training right away?"
