Asher laughs, “No clue, I should really get better at planning these things out.” He glances around and then back to her, “You want anything to drink or...?”

Valeria laughs, then shakes her head. "No thank you." She says gently.
-
Asher smiles, “Kay.” He moves to sit on his couch, patting the spot by him, silently asking if she wanted to sit by him.
-
Valeria sits next to Asher, a tad skeptical as to if Asher will try anything without asking again, but she doesn't show it.
-
Asher stays there in silence for a bit before asking, “So, you got any ideas?”
-
"Uhm....not really." Valeria looks up at Asher and smiles. "I'm not good this stuff."
-
Asher chuckles, “Yep, this is why I need Xavier to make my life interesting.” He just laughs and shakes his head.
-
Valeria laughs softly. "Really? The life of a vampire isn't interesting alone?"
-
Asher laughs and shakes his head, “Nah, that’s only when people are calling you a monster or whatever.” His tone is an attempt to sound carefree but she can most likely tell that it really hit him hard.
-
Valeria frowns slightly. "Oh, I'm sorry."
-
Asher glances away, “It’s fine. I’m used to it.”
-
Valeria gently places a hand on his, unsure of what to say.
-
Asher glances to her out of the corner of his eyes and something appears to break in them. He sucks in a breath and gently takes her hand and lightly squeezes it.
-
Valeria looks up to Asher, noticing his eyes. "Are you okay?"
-
Asher nods, “Yeah, I’m fine.”
-
Valeria realizes she's actually genuinely worried about Asher and gently asks, "What's wrong?"
-
Asher looks away and mumbles, “Why do you care? You hate vampires, remember?”
-
"Vampires, yes. You, no."
-
Asher sighed and leaned back against the couch, looking up to the ceiling, “Forget it.”
-
Valeria frowns slightly. "I don't forget things like this." She says honestly. "Really the only time I forgot about something important like this is when some other vampire wiped my memory."
