- Kaison continued walking before suddenly glancing towards Devin when he brought up which city he wanted to visit for a while. He hummed softly, his eyes moving back over towards Chomper again. At the mention of Nora, he chuckled a bit and looked back over towards Devin again. "Are you really scared of Nora?" He asked. He raised a brow. He knew that Nora could be a bit... short-tempered sometimes, but he didn't think she was all that bad. It was just best to not get on her bad side. "I think, just to ease your tension, we can visit the other cities and leave Lumiose for last." He suggested.

- Kaison rolled his eyes. "I think she's more mad at Arceus for throwing you guys onto her roof which was the whole reason you crashed into it in the first place." He replied. "I don't think you purposely went out of your way to piss her off." He raised a brow a little as he shrugged. "And you can't control who likes you or not..." He muttered. "If Nora wants to hate you forever over an incident that you couldn't exactly control then she can whatever..." He frowned. "Just as long as you know you had no fault in it, then it doesn't really matter..."

- At that, Kaison placed a finger on his bottom lip and stared at the floor, going into thought. Devin was right about that. They've been to Lumiose before so it wasn't going to be anything new. "Yea, you're right..." He muttered. He blinked a few times before looking over at Devin again, nodding. "Since we're in Route 19 anyway, we can just go through Couriway Town and go to Anistar City." He suggested. "It's the closest town and city here." He said. He looked over at Chomper who was still wandering around the route, sniffing and lightly biting at some of the different colored flowers that were sitting around in batches just out of curiosity.

- Kaison nodded. He looked at Sapphire, listening to the other's concerns towards his partner's behavior. Kaison frowned a bit and soon shrugged. "Perhaps he has something on his mind?" He suggested. "He's been quite attached to Chomper, maybe it has something to do with him... or Roara, he seemed to have gotten upset after what happened." He said. His eyes moved to Chomper, taking notice to the Tyrunt having now seemed to be roaring at another Pokemon. He stopped his walking, blinking as he watched the small dinosaur roar at a rather large scorpion-like Pokemon. A Drapion. He hadn't even noticed it until actually looking up to check Chomper. Kaison blinked before sighing. "Chomper..." He muttered. "It's not nice to disturb the wild Pokemon..." He knew the small dinosaur would cause trouble, but he didn't think he'd do it so quickly. Though the Drapion didn't look all that annoyed with Chomper, they seemed to be more interested in the small dinosaur.

- When hearing his name, Chomper turned his head and looked at his trainer and Devin. The small dinosaur roared in response before looking back at the Drapion when he also let out a low roaring-like noise. Kaison sighed and walked over towards the two Pokemon and quietly picked up Chomper. "Chomper, are you making a new friend...?" He looked up at the Drapion who was staring at him now. Kaison blinked as the Drapion leaned forward a bit as if trying to intently examine the other.

- Kaison turned his head to look at Devin when he suddenly came over. "Dev..." He muttered, kind of taken aback when he had approached him so suddenly. He looked down at Chomper who roared once more at the Drapion. Even though Drapion's were quite small, Kaison knew much better then to mess with poison types. He frowned a bit, watching the scorpion until it seemed to get disinterested when Sapphire suddenly approached as well. With some hesitation, it soon backed away back into the purple flower patch before turning and completely leaving. Kaison watched quietly before looking down at Chomper. "Chomper... don't disturb the wild Pokemon. You're only lucky the Drapion wasn't keen on wanting a fight." He sighed. He then turned to Devin. He could practically sense the protectiveness oozing from the other as he gently rested his hand on the other's arm. "Devin... it's fine... I guess the Drapion was just confused by Chomper messing around in its flower patch..." He reassured the other, seeming to only bring up the Chomper and Drapion incident and not even acknowledging that the Drapion took a weird, confused interest in him for a few seconds. Kaison looked at Chomper now, furrowing his brows. "I think it's best I keep a hold onto you until we get to Couriway Town or else you'll end up angering a wild Pokemon next time." Chomper seemed to let out a displeased roar at this but snapped his jaws to show that he obliged.

- That made sense. Kaison was going to express just that he understood but was taken aback by the sudden hug. He stood still, staring blankly as he was hugged before suddenly looking at Devin when the hug was broken. He didn't know what to say, honestly. The hug was sudden, and it also caused him to forget what he was going to say. After a while of silence, Kaison faintly smiled. "...you're silly sometimes, Dev... but it's cute..." He shrugged, turning his head for a moment before looking back at him and nodding towards the direction they were going before. "Come on, we should keep going now, yea?" He asked. Chomper seemed to let out a small growl at the sudden hug, obviously not expected it, especially when he was slightly crushed between Devin and Kaison's bodies, but he went back to not even acknowledging it as he happily roared, his tail wagging when Kaison suggested they keep walking, even though Chomper was mostly going to be held the entire way.

The teen glanced at the ground for a while before looking back up at the other again. "Hey Dev... you know... I didn't mind the hug either so... you didn't have to stop it." He assured him before lifting his hand to gently pet Chomper's head before turning his body. "Come on..." He nodded forward before beginning to walk again.
