    Lunafrost

    Deputy / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Apprentice: --

The alluring Russian Blue trotted through skeletal trees, their branches so bare that she could have counted the leaves on each and every one as she passed by. The trees were skirted by pools of autumn gold and rust colored leaves. When the wind blew the pools animated. Leaves took to the air in an elegant dance, pirouetting around the tree trunks to their own orchestral rustling. When the wind calmed, the dance ended and the leaves landed to form new pools that looked identical to the ones they were in before they started to frolic. Leaf-Fall was upon them and the days were slowly growing colder, thankfully, the territory had an abundance of prey, with Sunblaze constantly hunting the territory for every last herb he could find, the deputy felt that her clan would get through Leaf-baring without much trouble. Still, Echoshine's grisly death was mystery, leaving her son, Lionkit orphaned. They couldn't even bury the she-cat due to having little to no body left.

Lunafrost shuttered softly at the memory of the deceased Queen, her heart heavy with grief and mind clouded with disappointment at being unable to find what had caused one of her clanmates deaths. The she-cat shook off her mournful expression as she entered the camp she called home, ears raised as she padded over to the fresh kill pile, dropping a squirrel into the pile. She clenched and unclenched her jaw as the elegant feline turned and made her way towards the center of the gorge. It was sunrise, there was a nippy chill in the air even with the sun blazing down on them. She took a seat, dainty paws settled in front of her, cold icy blue eyes swerved around while she waited for more cats to arise so she could start patrols.

She spotted the bright ginger coat of the odd eyed Riddlemask as the handsome tom nodded to her as he padded past her. The twins, Brightlight and Darknight were sitting near the warriors den, both looked like they had a restless slumber. Lunafrost wasn't certain what was wrong with those two, but she hoped they stopped bickering and started getting their acts together. With Leaf-baring so close there was no time for arguing these days. It didn't help that Lunafrost has been feeling this foreboding sensation, like something bad was going to happen which was weird. Peaceclan had lived up to its name since the founder, rarely didn't anything go wrong around here....but still....

    Wintershadow

    Senior Warrior / Tom [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Apprentice: Eggpaw

A muscular tom with broad shoulders and a powerful frame had himself laying off to the side. The deep breaths of air rose and fell in time with large chest, hefty paws were draped to his side as he napped, or at least that is what he looked to be doing. One big ear swerved in the direction of soft paw steps drawing near by. It was one set not more, he slowly lifted his head and the rest of his big frame. The eyes parted slowly to reveal yellow orbs, he blinked them waiting for them to adjust to the sunlight. He was a fierce-looking creature with smooth snow white fur. He was mostly Maine Coon and extremely large, as well as remarkably intimidating.

Wintershadow parted his jaw and allowed a yawn to part through, flexing the muscles in his back and legs, the tom's eyes slowly roamed the camp. He spotted several cats up and about, mostly the older ones. His eyes never lingered for too long, he was unusual enough the last thing he needs others things he was creepy as well. The large tom sat up from where he sat on the side of camp, eyes honing in on the blue she-cat who dropped prey at the fresh kill pile. He was rather certain Pantherstar had given direct orders that told the clan to avoid going out alone at all cost. Echoshine's death had been seven sunrises ago, but it still put the clan and the leader on edge. Wintershadow didn't bother speaking to Lunafrost, he was certain Pantherstar would scold her soon enough. Instead he waited to hear patrols called so he could find Eggpaw.

    Elfinpaw

    Apprentice / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing/ Mentor: Twigheart

A sharp and long yawn parted from a maw of a young she cat, the cloudy blue orbs were gazing at the entrance yet saw none of the light that streamed through nothing but the warmth upon her pelt indicated that the time of day had changed other than that it was as pitch black as normal. The young apprentice slowly rose from her place leaving the soft moss behind and shook her pelt from side to side. Elfinpaw could not twist her head and focused her sight on her pelt to check if she had any kind of green moss within her pelt simply because she could not see if her life depended upon it. Thankful her other senses had enhanced themselves to make it able for her to see in her own way. The ground helped her the most she had taught her paws to pick up the vibrations within the earth beside that and her advance hear and sense of smell she could move almost like a normal she-cat. The tiny blind cat padded out into the open, scenting the air and listening to the sounds around her.

There were quite a few sounds running around the camp, many might of been missed by those who were focused on the what was in front of them instead of around them. The elfin sized she cat blinked her eyes a pawful of times, and shut themselves firmly seconds later. The faint voices of her Clanmates at Camp ebbed into the distance, the low murmur of their meows engulfed by the gentle sigh of the tide of cool air that fled around the camp. It vanished as her eyes parted once again, the world remained the same though. Black, but not depressingly empty at least not when one had such an imagination as she did. She slowly turned her body around so that she was no longer facing the entrance of the apprentice den, instead, she used her nose to find one of her best friends, Foxpaw. He, Eggpaw, and Burntpaw had become her closest friends in friends in the clan after she was taken in. Of course, Elfinpaw saw all her clanmates as her friends, but those three stuck out in particular simply because somehow some way, whenever there was trouble the three of them always seemed to be at the center of it. She too was also, although, she normally wasn't the one causing just there because.

The sightless apprentice sniffed out her russet friend, the sound of his snoring was far to loud to miss, and she promptly began poking the tom in the side. "Foxpaw, please get up." She meowed in a soft and airy voice. It was very hard to get Foxpaw to wake up, he slept a lot throughout the day. Elfinpaw normally wouldn't mind letting him sleep in, however, Foxpaw had Gentleswoop as a mentor. In Elfinpaw's mind, next to grumpy Darknight, Gentleswoop wasn't exactly a cat most kept waiting. Why Pantherstar thought it would be a good idea to pair the warrior with the laziest cat in clan, Elfinpaw had no idea. Elfinpaw had been unconsciously doing her best to help the warrior out by getting Foxpaw up during sunhigh, but sometimes it was a difficult cat. Worse comes to worse, Eggpaw and Burntpaw should have some ideas on how to get him up. "Foxpaw, patrols are going to be called. You really should get up." She adds sweetly, poking the apprentice softly with her small paw.

    Silentkit

    Kit/ Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Mentor: --

Silver-color fur rose and fell with the steady pattern of breath, the kit's tousled pelt hanging thickly over her body. The hushed rustling noise of someone padding outside reached Silentkit's thin and papery ears, and without opening his eyes, she yawned largely, tiny teeth showing as her jaws gaped. Her ringed and slender tail slid around her form, stopping in front of her pink nose and pressing lightly against her. She wanted to get comfortable, to let the gentleness of sleep whisper to her its song. But it wouldn't be happening, now that the sound had awakened her. The most delicate sigh escaped Silentkit, as she vigilantly hoped that if for a moment she did quiet her mind, it would happen. It was rather futile, however, and she shifted her fleece-like paws to for the last time of the day feel the moss beneath her. Pushing up, the silver kit held on to the darkness for a mere second before letting go and easing her eyes open. Now standing, Silentkit leaned forward and stretched her back in a long arch, tail sweeping behind her once more. She was as quiet as her given name as she leaned majority of her weight on the tips of her toes before relaxing.

Her bright were filled with open curiosity and enthusiasm. Her gaze quickly found her friends, Daintykit and Lionkit. Silentkit had snuggled up with other cats and Pebbledune during the night due to how cold it was getting with Leaf-fall. Normally they had Echoshine around to help keep them warm, but she was gone now... it was okay, though. She was sure the queen was in Starclan watching over all of them or at least she hoped they were. The new cat, Wildfire, has been sleeping in the nursery. She didn't have a belly or any kits so Silentkit had no clue why she was sleeping in here, yet, she didn't mind it. It meant more warm bodies to snuggle with. Wildfire made fast friends with Pebbledune so all was well. As the tiny she-cat opened her maw to yawn once more, her eyes focused on the tail of the nearest kit, lowering herself into a clumsy hunting crouch, Silentkit basically flung herself forwards, aiming for the tail though somewhat ended up pouncing on the kit instead of the tail.

  • Beastspark

Warrior - Tom - Apprentice: Burntpaw

Beastspark was roaming the territory, fighting squirrels, yelling at trees the usual. Living in a clan was awesome, everyone was helping everyone and it was a great life. He was rather glad he had come here with his daughter, now he didn't need to worry about her growing up without someone there for her, not that he was going anywhere it was just nice to know the clan had her back if anything did happen to him. Feeling as if his muscles were thoroughly stretched, the tom returned to camp with a smile on his maw eager to see his kit.

The clan was rather lively, it hadn't been so when he had left for his run. The sun was warm yet wind cold and fresh leaves fallen into the gouge. Even with the dreadful weather, he was delighted seeing so many friendly face. He was thrilled he had made this clan his home. As his vibrant eyes roamed he spotted Darknight wandering around, she was normally by herself. He wasn't sure if it was because she was just to mean to get along with or if it was because of something else, but no one seemed to bother her. Maybe she liked it that way? He didn't think to hard on it, he'd bother her later.

He was going to head straight to the nursery, however, paused seeing the striking russian blue she-cat sitting at attention. That meant patrols were going to be called soon. After debating for some time, he sighs, deciding against heading to the nursery and instead moved to sit nearby Wintershadow seeing as the older warrior was also up and waiting. He parted his maw to greet the senior warrior, although stopped when he spotted the black and white pelted tom stepping out of his den.

    Sunblaze

Medicine Cat- Tom - Apprentice: Rookstep

A slender ginger tom with bright amber eyes was pacing back and forth in the spacious den that held all their medical herbs. It was getting colder and with the chill in the air a mild change came to Sunblaze, he was rather obsessed with ensuring that the clan had enough herbs to get through leaf-baring, he could still recall the one time they hadn't, his mother had gotten sicked and passed away, leaving him with a little sister and a broken hearted father to tend to. Since then whenever the seasons changed and the cold came, Sunblaze could often be found tagging along or going out on herb runs. The memory of cats dying because of a lack in herbs was something that scared him.

The tom paused in his herb counting when he spotted a familiar pelt out of the corner of his eye. He turned, padding out of the den and watched as his little sister padded into the camp and over to the fresh kill pile. A concern lash of his tail was given when he noticed that Lunafrost had once again left the camp without another cat. Since Echoshine, may her soul rest in Starclan, had died their father has been rather paranoid about cats leaving the camp on their own. His eyes flickered over to Beastspark who padded into the camp once again on his own, his spotted a large black and white tom with sharp green eyes and a white muzzle stepping out of his den. The look on his face said that the leader had noticed both cats coming into camp unaccompanied.

Sunblaze, naturally, would save his sister from their father's wrath, Beastspark was on his own, however. As his normal rather flamboyant and dramatic self, Sunblaze darted from his den at a quick pace and basically threw himself at the deputy. He didn't bother holding back as he jumped on her, this was how he greeted her since she was an apprentice and he wasn't as concerned about breaking her. "SISTER!!!" He yowled, not bothering to lower his voice it was already sunhigh if the clan wasn't up by now they would. "I've missed you soooooo much!" He meowed after collided with the smaller she-cat. He showered the younger cat in purrs and nuzzles in an open display of affection. "Where have you been?! You never visit me!!!" This was normal for Sunblaze, he had somewhat of a sister complex. The tom looked down at the deputy with watery eyes as if he were going to cry.

    Pantherstar

    Leader - Tom - Apprentice: --

The aged leader padded form his den, muscles stiff from the cold and bones cracking with age. In his youth, Pantherstar had been a rather handsome tom with an authority presence, but like any cat age had caught up to him. He's gone through three deputies before finally settling on his own daughter as deputy. It had been a hard chose between her and Wintershadow, his former apprentice, but in the end Wintershadow turned down the duty and Lunafrost was accepted. However, there are days, like today, where he wondered if she was still to young serve such a rank. There was no doubt in his mind, Lunafrost was commanding, well respected by her clanmates, and deserved the rank, yet, he knew his age was catching up with him. He was going to retire soon, his daughter had less then three moons as a deputy, he still saw her as that little kit in the nursery, she was far too young to lead an entire clan.

He knew the clan would never see her as he did, that vulnerable kitten who took on responsibility after responsibility, the kit who had harden her heart after losing her mother who hide herself behind a wall of icy perfection. It worried him greatly, if- when he fell he prayed to Starclan that whomever took over Lunafrost place as her deputy would support her and look after her. Her lack of genuine friends, during her apprenticehood and even as a warrior made him wonder if she was lonely, always putting the clan before everything else... Under her care he knew his clan would have nothing to worry about, she'd care for this clan like they were her own flesh and blood and then some. The old leader lower himself to stretch out an kink in his back, straightening as soon as he noticed the cat on his mind returning to camp alone followed by a a brute of a warrior not long after. A long sigh escaped his gray maw as he shot a look at both Beastspark and Lunafrost.

Pantherstar had told his clan that no more cats would be allowed to leave camp without another with them, Echoshine's death haunted him even in his dreams. He was terrified at the thought of losing any more cats. Echoshine had her whole life ahead of her and a kit to care for and now she was hunting in Silverpelt. He made a mental reminder to scold the pair later, his eyes flickered over to his son as the tom made one of his many scenes in order to obtain Lunafrost's attention. It took a little bit of time for Pantherstar to climb down from his den and reach the ground, ignoring the way his bones knocked together. He should had retired a while ago, however, after the death of his former deputy he had to put off retirement. With his constant worries of leaving his kit to bear the weight of an entire clan on her shoulders, he remained as leader for as long as his body would hold out.

"Sunblaze, leave your sister be. She had patrols to attend too." He told his eldest sternly yet mirth danced in his eyes. Even though he was always worrying, he was rather proud of his kits and his clan, he felt that no matter what happened to him, his clan would thrive together with his kits.

    Foxpaw

Apprentice - Tom - Mentor: Gentleswoop

A tight bundle of russet fur was curled tightly within a soft moss bed, two pairs of sleepy orbs shot open and then close again as a yawn escaped the maw of a lean tom, muscles cored the tom's body a few scars zigzagged here and there but nothing to be impressed about. Foxpaw allowed his whole entire form to stretch out from where he laid on his side, he felt one of his paws brush against something soft and quickly retracted his hind paw. An ear twitched at the lulling voice calling his name, it went in one ear and out the other. When the poke started, Foxpaw grunted but didn't move again. As it insisted he forced himself to get up.

He shifted his weight so that he was now sitting upright, shoving his paws underneath him and pushing himself up so that he stood though made sure not to hit his head on the wall. He glanced around with large orbs, settling them on the tiny she-cat with the sightless eyes. Elfinpaw always looked like she had her head in the clouds, Foxpaw learned that was not the case with her. After staring at her for a few seconds, noticing that Eggpaw and Burntpaw weren't with her and no food in sight, Foxpaw yawned again and promptly flopped back down into his warm nest.

"Go away, Elf, I'm tired." He complained, rolling onto his back so that his belly was exposed and all four paws were sprawled out. Yes, he looked like a completely fool but with Foxpaw that was what was expected. The tom had always been rather laid back, lazy, funny when times called for it. He refused to take much in life seriously, living it for what he believes was fun. His friends, food, and sleeping. Now and then he had moments of utter mischievous that he of course dragged the other apprentices into, but that was just who he was. Right now he was sleepy so sleeping is what he felt needed doing, it was difficult to get him up, unless it there was food or.... well food he wasn't budging.

    Rosethorn & Tigerpaw

    Loner - Molly - Apprentice:-- || Loner - Tom - Mentor: --

A gorgeous cream pelted beauty stretched her lean body as she shook the sleep from her eyes. The alluring sky blue eyes blinked a few times while parting her maw to yawn. The former Pebbleclan warrior turned her eyes to the only beings she cared for more than her appearance and life, her kits.

Tigerpaw remained as far away from his sister as he slept curled up further in the corner of hollowed out tree they resided in. Her son was her pride and joy he was even more beautiful than she. She was not bothered in the least to admit that, she had hoped to have beautiful kits. As her eyes glanced at her daughter her prideful smile fell just a little bit, she loved Softpaw, but she just wasn't what Rosethorn had hoped for when gifted with a daughter. She was....well a disappointment. But one that was loved. She admitted that she was tougher on Softpaw than she was Tigerpaw, but her kit needed to grow a spine. If she learned to stand up for herself Tigerpaw wouldn't pick on her.

The striking feline stared at her slumbering family for a bit longer before waking them up. "Tigerpaw, Softpaw. Time to get up. We need to get moving." She gently nudged both her kits with her nose. She wasn't fully certain if she was going in the right direction to find this....clan, although she felt like she was going the right way. Even though she had left her clan behind, she prayed that starclan remained with her. Pebbleclan just wasn't the place for her and her family, not with the way they treated her. This new clan would be new and fresh. Maybe Softpaw might even make some real friends, if she was outcasted in the clan too than Rosethorn couldn't be blamed for it. That would be her own fault.

"Come on, get up you two. We have to get moving while the day is young."

"I'm am not going outside, mother. My coat will get dirt and do you have any idea how long it takes to wash it. " The loud, irritating complaint came from the amber eyes tom who had rolled on his side to look at her.

"Oh, don't be so fussy. You'll look brilliant no matter what." Tigerpaw growled something underneath his breath that Rosethorn decided not to hear. "I'll help you clean your pelt later, I promise, Love. Now come on, please."

"Uhhhhhhg, very well mother." The big tom meowed, cruelty making sure to give his sister a kick to her side when she didn't get up. "Let's go dirtball. You're keeping Mother waiting." He growled as he rose to stand. His tail twitched when when noticed his sister was moving, the red berries he gave her last night to her from while she slept seemed to have worked better then he thought.

    Grim & Greed

    Leader - Tom - || Sin - Tom

The shallow breaths of air escaped the maw of a sleeping feline, the broad chest fell and rise with each intake of oxygen. He suddenly had his golden eyes snapping open. The chest no longer fell with easy breaths, but now slower steady one. A thick pelt tom blinked the sleep from his eyes once more before shoving himself into a sitting position and then stood as he gave his pelt a shake. His eyes wandered around his surroundings, trees, not like the pine trees that lined their territory, these trees were different. The air smelt different, filled with several scents, cats being the strongest. He could smell the markings of a boarder here.

The tree he rest under was larger then the rest, twisted and rather disturbing to look at. A type of tree that gave kits nightmares. It took a few seconds for his brain to wake up, he knew this tree, this was where he had killed and eaten that pretty she-cat. She had tasted better then the scrawny rogues and loners he found, she had been healthy and meaty. Gluttony large paws thumped heavily as he rolled to his feet, he found no reason to be silent. The enticing tom stood taller than most cats, heavier in build for each step he took thick muscles flexed underneath his pelt. The fangs in his mouth were certainly longer and sharp than any normal cat and those razor sharp claws that laid hidden could defiantly take a few eyes out with one swipe.

Sharp muscles shifted and tensed before falling still as he the massive tom took a seat underneath the tree. It took him a moment to spot him even with the sun shining overhead. He was an average sized tom, with an average build and had little to no presence to him. Unlike Gluttony, whose mere presents seemed to take up most of the space. The thick tail curled itself securely around the Sin's limbs, he seemed to be impassive his facial expression was a void of emotion. Razor like claws dug deeper and deeper indents into the floor as they retracted with each passing second and than released themselves once again. The fur along his side needed a brushing, but considering he had not tongue it was left alone. He did wish he could taste the bloody left overs within his fangs. He missed his tongue sometimes, he did not see the point in tearing it out. It wasn't his fault he couldn't always control his Sin.

Gluttony's eyes wandered back up to the tom sitting on the tree limb above his head. The dark tom in the Twisted Tree had slung out of the large mansion like den that he and his Sins lived in without anyone noticing his departure, save Gluttony. He had been told several times that he needed to make noise when he moved, but was the point in doing that? Grim prided himself on his ability to blend in with his surroundings, and it had taken some time to teach the Sins to do so. Yet they had done rather wonderfully, it had become second nature for them to come and go without anyone taking to much notice of them, besides the blood and bodies. Grim had slowly began working on recruiting Death Dealers, assassins of sorts, for numbers more or less. His son, Night, serving as the sole lackey at the moment but that would change once Grim had his plans fulfill.

Grim had left the manner well before the sun rose, he was waiting now for his cats to notice his departure and come seek him out. Grim had promised his group some fun yesterday and he intended to deliver on that promised.... only if they managed to track him down first. He'd make them work for their entertainment. Grim and his group has been boarder the clan in this territory for some time now, besides allowing Gluttony to feast on some of their cats here and their, this clan had no clue he and his group existed as they should otherwise Grim's work of turning them virtually into shadows and killers would had been for nothing. Since speaking and learning to control the spirit in the Dark Forest, Grim had a plan and now every intention of being seen and heard, for now he'd wait for his Sins to arrive first.

  • Hallowskies | Female | Bisexual | 38 moons | Crush:(+) | Apprentice:(+)

    Speaking with: Open

IC: The tan and black she cat rested with her nose tucked beneath her tail her dainty paws beneath her as she slept she twitched in her sleep as her ears rang with sudden noise that came from the main part of camp seemingly almost accustomed to it she felt her ears swiveled as she shifted in her nest. Letting out a soft sigh she knew she had to awaken soon anyway it would not be long before Lunafrost would call for patrols and if she was not around to apply herself today she knew she would get an earful from either Lunafrost or Pantherstar due to her laziness and if she was as unlucky as she usually was she would hear it from both.

It wasn't really her fault she slept late as she was usually the one to stay up at night and watch the camp, though that needed to change that was her sole duty for a long time and though she didn't mind it knew that it couldn't last this duty usually being shared between clan members it had only been given to her a a last resort when it seemed that she couldn't remove herself from her nest in time to be of any use anywhere else.

IC: The cream brown tom lay curled up his tail wrapped tightly around him as he let out soft breaths of air laying in the far corner where he preferred so that he could place his back against the way and knew no one could catch him from behind. He gently shifted so that his paws were slightly out from him knowing he probably wouldn't hit anyone unless by some miraculous happening one of them could stand another to bother getting heat from the other. Small twigs and leaf debris clung to his coat that he hasn't bothered to clean out he realized this would probably make Pride corner him to make sure he cleaned up and ate something.

    Gentleswoop | Female | Heterosexual | 37 moons | Crush:(+) | Apprentice:Foxpaw

    Speaking with: open

IC: Gentleswoop had awoken with Fallencove earlier in the day when it had become apparent to the both of them that it may be some time before some of the others awoke they had decided to go hunting together the two of them not very keen to seeing the fresh kill pile deplete very much while they headed in to leaf-fall knowing that if they came up short for prey once leaf-bare hit they would be one hurting clan. The she cat let her gaze wonder as she made sure that Fallencove was near by the large black sharp fanged tom was never to far just in case but Gentleswoop wanted to be positive having had others leave her before finding her attitude to be unbearable. Speaking of cats she wondered if her lazy apprentice had bothered to remove himself from the warmth of his soft nest yet and sneered :that lazy mouse might as well have that nest permanently attached to him: she thought to herself.

She heard rustling leaves near her, her attention turned seeing a nose poke out from beneath some of the debris she crouched and waited as it emerged more before pouncing and grabbing the creature crushing its spine between her teeth she dropped it and smiled not much but it added to her pile that slowly grew the more the two were out here the mouse lay at her paws. The she cat padded over to where she had buried her other prey and thought for a moment if they didn't go back now they wouldn't make it in time to hear patrols and wouldn't that just make some cats snicker to know that Gentleswoop actually missed out for once, her fur bristled at the thought as she turned and spotted Fallencove "Come on time to head back." she meowed not taking no for an answer she picked up her bird and a couple shrew she had also caught arranging it so that she could carry the prey she caught easily. She headed back to camp.

IC: The large black tom had just caught a plump shrew when he heard the other cats meow "Very well." he replied before picking up his own small pile of prey and following after the she cat not that he was particularly glad she had decided to end their time out it wasn't very often they got to go out without a larger group though the new set rule saying they couldn't go out alone wasn't bad but it frustrated him, He picked up his pace a bit making sure it didn't take the two of them long before they reached the entrance and back into camp which he realized that Pantherstar and some others had already awoken dropping his prey into the pile he went to sit on the edge of camp out of the way but still within the distance that he could hear things around him.

IC: The white tom had woken a while ago but wasn't to excited to move though he knew eventually he would have to. Standing rather slowly the large tom made sure that whomever was left sleeping after the racket Sunblaze made could possibly sleep a little longer making sure to step quickly but carefully he exited the den to see who exactly was awake. Shaking out his pelt he moved out of the way just in case any of the others decided they should rise as well. The tom let his green eyes wonder over the camp as he sat off to the side a distance away from the other cats who were awake preferring not to be around others was one thing but dealing with their attitudes was another. He looked down at his white fur cleaning the dirt from his nest that clung to it he could feel the scars that crossed his pelt as he did so.

  • (I will make a fancypost later this week!)

    Eggpaw

Half-lidded yellow eyes glowed near the back of the apprentice's den, lazily watching Elfinpaw's failed attempt to wake up their friend. After a moment of mentally convincing himself to get up, the young tom snorted softly and pushed himself to his paws. Saving a stretch for when he could enjoy it, Eggpaw stepped carefully around his sleeping denmates before coming to a stop beside the blind she-cat. "I think I just heard Gentleswoop come back. If you get outside soon, maybe she won't make you do any chores today," He grumbled, lightly kicking the bundle of fiery fur with his forepaw. He cast a sideways glance at Elfinpaw, rolling his eyes as if to say, Do we have to do this everyday? The ivory-furred tom flicked his stumpy tail and searched the den very briefly for Burntpaw, the only missing member of their rag-tag group of comrades.

    Twigheart

Twigheart was sitting beside the fresh-kill pile diligently grooming his sleek tabby pelt. He briefly lifted his head when the clan deputy, Lunafrost, approached and dropped her kill into the pile. He gave the young she-cat a nod of respect, but concern clouded his teal gaze as he watched her go. That wasn't the first time the blue she-cat had left camp on her own, directly disobeying Pantherstar's wishes. He had no doubt in his mind that she was strong and could handle her own out there, but did anyone really want to risk that? A shudder ran through the tom as he recalled the sight of the queen that had been found out on the territory, mangled and broken. If the same threat had gotten to their clan deputy, he wouldn't know what they would do. Heaving a sigh, Twigheart looked back up as Fallencove and Gentleswoop entered the camp and proceeded to get to his paws, figuring patrols would be sent out soon. He glanced briefly around for his apprentice and decided he would retrieve her after finding out what he was to do this morning. With that, the rather small tom made his way towards the leader and deputy, tail swinging low at his ankles.

    Spottedfall

After Sunblaze's rather loud greeting of his sister, it was hard for the pretty grey tabby to continue her sleeping. With a grunt, she tried covering her ears with her forepaws, gritting her teeth in annoyance, but it was no use; the clan medicine cat was simply too eager this morning. Groaning, the young warrior rolled out of her nest and slunk out of the den along with a few others that were unable to sleep through the wake-up call. Hardly bothering to check on her pelt, Spottedfall quickly gained a pawful of energy and pranced over to the fresh-kill pile. Only barely slowing down, she snagged a squirrel and continued to trot cheerfully towards the medicine cat den. With Sunblaze out and about, that only left one other cat that could be inside. She halted at the entrance and dropped the squirrel before loudly greeting in a sing-song voice, "Oh, Rooooksteeeep!" Growing up in the clan wasn't easy for the product of an affair, especially when the affair was between a clan cat and a rogue. Spottedfall didn't have many friends besides her older brother. However, Rookstep was always very kind to her, and he quickly became the she-cat's closest and dearest friend.

    Pride

"Sloth! Wake up, you imbecile!" Came the sharp hiss of an annoyed sister. The domineering she-cat stood a few tail-lengths away from her littermate, too disgusted by the condition of his coat to come any closer. After all, the dainty she-cat had been awake for quite some time, spending nearly an hour perfecting her sleek, shiny pelt. She had noticed Grim's absence only when she had looked away from her fur long enough to focus on anything else. "All of you, get up. Grim's not here; neither is Gluttony." Narrowed hazel eyes glared at each sleeping cat in the den as she grew more impatient. (sorry it's short, in a hurry)

  • Lunafrost

    Deputy / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Apprentice: TBA

Mentioned: Sunblaze, Pantherstar, Gentleswoop, Fallencove, patrols

Lunafrost had been silently sorting through patrols in her head as her gaze slide around, catching an array of cats as they either woke themselves from slumber or wandered into camp. She peered at the fresh-kill pile as Gentleswoop and Fallencove brought in some more prey in a pair. The fact that they had come in together reminded her that she hadn't been allowed to leave the camp alone which would most likely result in a scolding from Pantherstar. Sometimes having a clan leader as the highest authority in the clan as well as a parent was troubling. The feline choose to worry about it later, patrols first. As she parted her maw to gather the cats, abruptly a loud yowling alerted her to her brother. One would think after spending so many moons with him she would have learned had to avoid such reckless collisions, yet, Sunblaze still managed to tackle her to the ground.

The deputy took the full brunt of the medicine cat's weight, growling softly underneath her breath as she found herself stuck on her side. Lunafrost counted silently in her head in order to keep her cool. Sunblaze was the older of the two of them, yet he lacked any type of maturity whatsoever. She took his affection in stride before using a paw to shove him off her so that she could sit up, her pink tongue lapping at the fur of her flank when she heard the clan leader's voice. She turned her piercing sapphire orbs to meet Pantherstar's as he scolded Sunblaze halfheartedly. There was a glint in his eyes that told her she was going to get lecture later. She rose with a poised and regal air of command around her, even when it came to her brother's blunders, Lunafrost always recovered with a cool grace.

"Cats of Peaceclan, gather at my paws for Sunhigh patrols." Her voice was raised to be heard through the camp, a silvery alto tone that demanded immediate attention. As she looked over to the white muzzled leader, she kept her emotions off her face and hidden from her clear azure orbs. The leader should had taken to the elders den some moons ago, he looked like he needed a long rest. She, like majority of the clan, had no clue how many lives he had left. Although she had no ambition to become the clan leader, she knew Pantherstar was worried about her. It was this worry that was creating a certain type of uncertainty and nervousness deep within her heart. She looked down at her dainty paws before shaking the feeling off and focusing on the task in front of her, patrols.

    Wintershadow

    Senior Warrior / Tom [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Apprentice: Eggpaw

    Mentioned: Pantherstar, Eggpaw

A long and exhausting yawn left the maw of the senior warrior. The ivory Tom bend slowly as his pink tongue darted from his mouth and swiped down his soft coat. The rough pad caught any leftover derby or moss with his pelt. He pulled his plush tail in and started at the base before drawing his tongue down to the tip cleaning his pelt thoroughly. Wintershadow rolled his broad shoulders backward as he shifted his hefty paws around on the earth. The huge maine coon listened to the cats around him, head slightly bent and eyes shut as he caught bits of chatter.

Sunblaze was as active as normal, Pantherstar and Lunafrost were calmer and quieter compared to the medicine cat, Wintershadow assumed he got his flamboyant personality from his mother. He had little memories of Brightmist, her passing so many moons ago. He hadn't particularly close to the she-cat, seeing her in passing when training as an apprentice. She never seemed all that loud either... perhaps it was just Sunblaze. As he heard Lunafrost's call, he moved to heed it alongside a few other warriors as they gathered around the she-cat.

His gaze fell to Pantherstar who stood nearby, he felt a little bad for the tom having declined the offer of deputy after the last deputy passed. Wintershadow preferred to be like the end of his name, a shadow. Becoming a star would shine far to much spotlight on him that he just didn't want to deal with. He admitted he worried about Lunafrost taking over, not because he doubted her leadership, but because she was going to try and push herself and eventually break. He pushed those thoughts to the side, his eyes flickered over to the apprentice den as he waited for his apprentice to arrive with the call.

    Elfinpaw

    Apprentice / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing/ Mentor: Twigheart

    Mentioned: Foxpaw, Eggpaw, Burntpaw

The petite feline allowed her tail to wave back and forth behind her in a somewhat lazy manner. The head tilted itself in her accustom mannerism of curiosity as she heard Foxpaw rise only to feel a small vibration underneath her small paws as he went right back down. Seeing as she was sightless and locked in endless darkness, she often allowed her imagination to bloom to make up for her lack of sight. Whatever she was imagining had her maw curling into the warmest of smiles as pure, unrestrained amusement danced within that smile.

As she reached out a paw to poke the tomcat again, it took her a second to figure out that she was probing his belly which meant he was laying on his back. Who sleeps like?! The keenly sensitive ears snapped, like a rubber band, towards the sounds a bit away as another cat woke themselves. It took a few sniffs to figure out it was just Eggpaw. "Good morning." She called pleasantly yet softly in order to keep from disturbing the rest of their denmates. She lifted a forepaw to muffle her laughter as Eggpaw attempted to wake up their friend. "I'm pretty certain that walking is considered a chore for Foxpaw." She teased, tail swaying back and forth in a playful manner.

Elfinpaw's rotated her head, blinking her eyelids, as she heard their clan deputy's call. "Oh, dear," Her tone of voice was unconcerned although the way she rose to her paws with haste contradicted her tone. "Come now, Foxpaw. You really must get up. Lunafrost is calling patrols and we're all going to get in trouble if we're late." This wouldn't be the first time they gotten scolded by the deputy for something that was completely Foxpaw's fault, and she was certain it would not be the last. Elfinpaw loved her friends dearly, but sometimes Foxpaw could be a bit much. All they needed was Burntpaw to finished their little group.

    Silentkit

    Kit/ Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Mentor: TBA

    Mentioned:

    *Waiting in nursery*

    Softpaw

    Loner / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Mentor: TBA

    Mentioned: Tigerpaw, Rosethorn

Softpaw woke hearing her mother, but it sounded like she was underwater everything was off. She had a bit of a cold, nothing to worry about she always seemed to get sick these days but got better. Her throat fell dry like she hadn't taken a drink in days, and her nose wouldn't stop running making her front paws all gross and snotty. She whimpered softly when Tigerpaw gave her a kick to get her moving, this was something normal and it didn't bother her all that much anymore.

Softpaw forcing herself to feet and stumbling along the way. She moved as if she were high on catnip, every step swaying and legs shaking as they held her small frame. She took a tumble to the ground, face planting, until she was able to her head up again. She rearranged herself with great difficult, flopping onto the ground and curled as tightly as she could in a ball. She wanted to go back to sleep but her body kept shivering and shaking, making sleep a little hard to come by but she was so tired.

Everything hurt and it honestly felt like she was dying. Tigerpaw had been kind enough to find her pretty looking berries, he said they'd her sleep. With mother out scouting the territory and no one to tell her if eating bright red berries was okay or not, she ate a bit of one and disliked the tasted so didn't finish them all. Of course she kept that from Tigerpaw, concerned about how he'd take it. Now she felt just terrible, everything felt hot and hurt so badly. She didn't want to keep them waiting, but she really didn't think she could move right now.

    Wrath

    Sin / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Greed

    Mentioned: Grim, Gluttony, Pride, Sloth

[I never fully explained where Grim and the Sins live.]

The ragdoll was starting over the edge of a staircase, wondering what would happen if she pushed someone off the side of this? Would they go splat, like on that color box the twoleg's owned? Or would they just break their bones. She had seen bones break before, the sound was never clean it always sounded wet and disturbing considering the muscles and skin often tore along with the broken bone. Or at least they did the way she broke bones. The she-cat grinned to herself before making her way down the steps. Her ears perked at the sound of Pride whiny voice, although she somewhat considered the she-cat a friend, days like today Wrath wanted to cut out her vocal cords.

As the ragdoll reach bottom of the steps she walked into the room where the majority of the group seemed to be slumbering. She barely caught the scent of their rather dull leader and their mute eater. "Don't get your tail in a twist, Pride." Wrath cackled as she strolled into the room. Consider that Grim rarely left the den she was guessing this was either some kind of test or a game. She was hoping it was a test, playing games with Grim was always life threatening. Although, Wrath loved a good game here and there she wasn't in the mood for dying right. "We gotta go find them. I'm assuming that's what he's expecting us to do." Grim was never the greatest at leave instructions behind. "Sloth that means you have to physically move your sorry behind otherwise I don't mind dragging you along by your ears."

Wrath grinned in a sinister manner. She wondered what it felt like having an ear gnawed off, someone might find out if they didn't get up and moving soon. If Gluttony was with Grim she assumed he hadn't eaten and if Grim go impatient and sent Gluttony back....well Wrath already had the delight of nearly getting eaten by that monster before. Gluttony was great fun to play, she wasn't in the mood to play with the big guy today. She was more interested in what Grim had planned, though they'd never now at this rate.

  • ✧Lambpaw✧Male✧Apprentice✧Crush/Mate: Pending✧Mentor: Spottedfall✧

Mentions: Elfinpaw, Foxpaw, Eggpaw, Spiderpaw, Lunafrost

    31 Sentences - 336 Words

He was up the moment he heard Elfinpaw moving around. The crinkled fur of the resident, “mouse in a cat’s pelt”, was always sensitive to the slightest change. Jumping at the faints shift, Lambpaw always looked like a walking corpse. The timid male watched the events play out between Foxpaw, Eggpaw and Elfinpaw. His large yellow eyes seeming even widered as the large pointed ears on his head fell back. His nervous posture a common sight in the den.

From his far corner, the red and white tabby was not the most confident apprentice in PeaceClan. His ragged body more akin to a walking skeleton than the tuned muscle of her peers. His small paws scratching the soft floor of the dens before he jumped. Hearing the voice of their deputy, Lunafrost, drift through the den.

Becoming anxious, the tom crawled after his denmates. His belly scraping the ground as he slipped out of the den behind them. Her stood up slightly his ears and eyes darting a bit before-

    Thunk!

Stop standing in the way, Mouse-brain!” Lambpaw’s back legs kicked out a bit as he fell on his face. There was a scuffle as he wiggled out from under the cat who had run into him. He whipped his head around locking eyes with his younger niece, Spiderpaw.

    S-S-Sorry S-

She huffed sticking her nose up a bit like Blacktooth did and puffing out her cheeks. A reminder that she was still a young kit.

I’m not supposed to talk to you

The taller, older but, much more fragile tom lowered his head. The black and ginger apprentice bounced away. His large ears falling backwards on his head. He had come to accept that his older brother was grooming Spiderpaw to hate him. He actually felt it was probably deserved.

After all it seemed something fractured this family…

Lambpaw slunk his way to the back of the gathering group. His triangle shaped face tipped down to the ground as if to disappear.

    ✧Spiderpaw✧Female✧Apprentice✧Crush/Mate: Pending✧Mentor: Hollowskies✧

    27 Sentences - 259 Words

A wild furred kit, freshly apprenticed, rolled over with a yawn as she heard Foxpaw complain. It was new waking up this early. Her mama would normally let her sleep in later. The haze of sleep lifted from her green-yellow eyes and she remembered. The chill of leaf-fall bit into her as the memory woke her.

    Mama...was gone.

Spiderpaw lifted her head looking over as her denmates conversed. She was about to join in with a big smile…

"Cats of Peaceclan, gather at my paws for Sunhigh patrols."

Awww! The young apprentice seemed to pout as others were shuffling out of the den. Casting a glance at her nest to be sure her treasure was there, the mottle she-kit scampered to the den entrance.

    Thunk!

Her face smashed into the person in front of her. She squeaked out a complaint, as she had seen from her father, as she wrestled with the cat. Once separated she realized who it was…

It was her Uncle...Lambpaw. Spiderpaw at first looked at him with confusion. She hardly ever saw her uncle since he liked to hide. But she did know her Papa hated him. So she had to hate him too right?

As he apologized, she stuck up her nose like her Papa taught her. Unfortunately, she was puffing out her cheeks making her look more childish.

I’m not supposed to talk to you” she declared turning and bouncing on her way to the group.

Wait up!” she called as she came bouncing up to Elfinpaw with a skid.

    ✧Beartongue✧Female✧Warrior✧Crush/Mate: Pending✧Apprentice: None✧

    Mentions: Lunafrost

    13 Sentences - 121 Words

Beartongue was cleaning her fur when she heard Lunafrost. The smoke tortie blinked looking up just in time to see her half-brother and her niece get into a tussle on the way out of the apprentice den. She frowned as her niece turned up her nose and bounced away.

Blacktooth. She should have expected, being Spiderpaw’s father, her brother would have rubbed some of his distaste for their illegitimate sibling on her. The chocolate mottle female passed a sympathetic but frustrated sigh. Lambpaw, as always, slunk after Spiderpaw and was keeping to himself. The long furred female cast her gaze to the side. Trying to sift through the memories that still hung heavy.

After a moment's pause, Beartongue found her way to the gathering group of cats.

Seeing her apprentice turn her nose up at her slightly older uncle making the she cat smile. "Well that's something I don't have to worry about." she murmured keeping her voice low so that she wasn't overheard as she moved to join the other cats that were gathering to hear about the patrols. Once she found a spot she could be seen and hear Lunafrost but also be away from stepping on other cats she stretched out her muscles feeling the pull ripple through her body as she adjusted herself.

As the tom moved his bones slightly showed beneath the griminess of his pelt. He stretched looking at the she cats once more he turned away from them as his eyes rolled so that he wouldn't get his pelt clawed off, today was one of those days Sloth wanted to be left alone. It wasn't like he couldn't find the others rather quickly he knew the territory they held like the back of his paw. Slipping into the apprentice den quietly she overheard Eggpaw's comment not that she minded, she dropped the mouse at her paws before clearing her throat "Foxpaw if you dont get your pelt out of that nest within the next few seconds you can look after Chamomileheart and then clean out these nests and replace them." she growled her yellow eyes flashing "Then afterwards we'll do battle training until .we have no choice but to come in." she added starring at the upside down apprentice

Shifting a bit the tom looked around at the other gathered cats.

OOC: Post is a work in progress, currently at work

  • Beastspark

Warrior - Tom - Apprentice: Burntpaw

Beastspark's ears perked up as he heard the call from the call from Lunafrost. He rose from where he had been sitting, eyes turning towards the apprentice den in hopes of spotting his apprentice but didn't catch a hair of him. He did frown as he watched the interaction between Lambpaw and Spiderpaw with a frown. They all lived and worked together in the same clan as one unit, shouldn't they all at least get along. Beastspark had learned not long after joining the clan that here bloodlines weren't as big of a deal as they might have been in other clans since this clan was more or less made up of a bunch of different cats. He didn't think he'd have worry about Silentkit getting picked on at least not about her background. Beastspark hadn't been born in the clan but welcomed, thanks to Pantherstar, but he was mildly concerned seeing how Spiderpaw treated her half kin. It wasn't his business to mind, however. The tom made his way over to the rest of cats, spotting Hollowskies as she finally left the warrior's den.

"You're awake!" The tom exclaimed as he padded over to his friend. He knew she tended to take on watching over the camp while the rest of the clan slept, he wasn't sure why she didn't asked for help Beastspark was always up for staying up past bedtime. "Did you sleep well?" He questioned lowering his voice since he knew how Lunafrost could be during patrols. She scared him a little bit. He didn't think he'd see Hollowskies up so early. Since she had been on guard duty he didn't think Lunafrost was so evil a taskmaster that she'd make Hollowskies do patrols as well.

    Sunblaze

Medicine Cat- Tom - Apprentice: Rookstep

Sunblaze didn't seem at all put off at his sister's cold attitude as she shoved a paw in his face to push him off her. The tom climbed off the petite feline, mood as delightful as ever. His attention turned to Pantherstar, whom he had been ignoring, as his father watched his sister. Sunblaze knew Pantherstar worried far more about Lunafrost over himself, he was pretty sure it was because the she-cat resembled their mother so much, but didn't let it bother him at all. He's already heard countless time about the tom's worries of his age and his lack of time. Sunblaze had reassured his father many times that he'd be around even after Pantherstar's passed to make sure that Lunafrost was taking care of herself.

His sister was far to independent, but Sunblaze was determined to help her make friends and pick a suitable deputy that would at least take care of his overly independent sister and make reports to him about her health. She's driven herself literally sick before with responsibility as an apprentice. The tom carefully made his way to the side, beckoning his leader, as Lunafrost began calling patrols. As the elder tom slowly walked over, he frowned watching how he moved.

    Pantherstar

    Leader - Tom - Apprentice: --

Pantherstar's eyes remained warm as he watched the clan gather around Lunafrost as she called patrols. Yes, he was not concerned at all about his clan. They'd follow her and she'd lead them into a bright future. He had been hoping to see some grandkits before he passed, but seeing as Sunblaze was deal with being a medicine cat and Lunafrost was Lunafrost he had long ago dashed that hope out of his mind. His eyes turned towards his son as the tom called him over. He left the gathered cats and took a seat beside the tom.

"You really shouldn't be up. Lunafrost and the clan can handle patrols." Sunblaze meowed, watching as Patherstar let out a loud sigh.

"I know that, but I can not help but worry. Ever since Echoshine's passing... there's been this feeling of dread that I just can't shake. Have you heard anything from Starclan about it?"

"No, nothing. It was most likely a hungry fox or something drawn to her scent. She should not have-"

"That was no fox! I've seen mauled prey foxes have left over and that was nothing like it. I saw her body, something ate her alive and just left her there! You know it and so do I!" The leader hissed, cutting off Sunblaze in a low voice. The clan might have thought it had been a fox or some scavenger, but Pantherstar knew better because Pantherstar had gone back to the Twisted Tree after a restless sleep and found a trail that had been overlooked by the patrol. The bloody paw prints behind that tree that led into unknown territory. They were a cat's print, a huge cat's paw prints. He had gotten rid of the evidence and hadn't spoken of what he had found to anyone but Sunblaze. "Something evil is coming, Sunblaze and I don't think I'm going to be around long enough to help my clan nor you two and it terrifies me." The black tom meowed in defeat. Sunblaze watched his father with open concern, uncertain how to quell his worries.

    Foxpaw

Apprentice - Tom - Mentor: Gentleswoop

These were the days where he wondered why he had friends, although, honestly he was pretty sure Elfinpaw would try to wake him up even if he didn't consider her a friend. The russet didn't move an inch, although opened one sleepy eye as his nose caught Eggpaw's scent. He shut it again not long after, hearing but paying little attention to Eggpaw's words. He'd rather his mentor make him do chores, that was way easier then doing the normal stuff apprentices were suppose to do. Seriously, he wished he could go live in the nursery. Ah! Those were the good old days. Growing up sucked!! Not even Lunafrost's call for patrols or Elfinpaw's concern got him up. As he received a light kick from Eggpaw, like the overly dramatic ham that Foxpaw was, he had to make a scene, anything to get him out of leaving his nest.

"The pain! Oh, the pain!" He whined, sprawling out in a more dramatic pose. "I can't move, you guys go on without me. I'm done for. If you see my mentor tell her that I-" Foxpaw paused in his rather cringe worthy speech when his eyes caught sight of a mouse falling to the ground. He tilted his head a little bit to see the warrior at the entrance of the den. He gave Gentleswoop one of his more classy half smiles in hopes of getting out of trouble, but of course she just started scolding him. He only half listened to what she was saying, eyes on the mouse. It was kinda of small but it was food. By the time his mentor finished talking, the russet had flipped himself over and stood on his paws.

"Uh-huh, so is that mouse for me?" He asked, obviously he hadn't been listening to a word Gentleswoop had said. "I can eat it right? Oh, has the fresh kill pile been restocked yet? I got up at night for a snack and it was empty!" Foxpaw spoke as if that had been a life and death situation. He didn't bother adding the fact he had been the one who had empty it, that was irrelevant to the matter right now. He noticed one of the new apprentices, Spiderpaw, out of the corner of his eye along with that skinny tom, Lambpaw. He didn't seem to care much about the interaction, he was more concern about the bony Lambpaw, clearly he needed to be fed more. Foxpaw would see about getting the rest of his friends to hang out with the tom and feeding him. Foxpaw obviously needed to take him under his wing... or rather tail. It should be a crime to be that thin! First things first, food.

    Rosethorn & Tigerpaw

    Loner - Molly - Apprentice:-- || Loner - Tom - Mentor: --

The she-cat made a plan in how far they'd be traveling today. She hoped they were heading in the right direction, her intuition said they were moving in the right direction, but then again intuition didn't make the world go round nor put food into bellies. The cream furred feline turned her head away from the scenery when she heard her kits shuffling around. She caught Tigerpaw once again being mean but didn't bother saying anything about it. She prayed to starclan that Softpaw would grow a backbone, Rosethorn wasn't going to be around forever. As she watched her daughter moving almost as if she were out of it at first she assumed she was just sleepy. The mother parted her maw to remind her to get up and moving but then she noticed the crimson colored stains near the she-cat's maw Was she bleeding? In one swift motion she hurried to her kits side and sniffed her head to toe. Softpaw felt warm and smelt off....sickly. She looked off more so then normal.

"Softpaw, what's wrong?" Her voice took on a worried edge while trying to see if she could get the apprentice to open her maw. "Did you eat something? Tigerpaw, did you watch her while I was away? Did she eat something?" She questioned her eldest with a concerned look in her eyes. Rosethorn might love and favor Tigerpaw a little more, but that did not mean she wanted Softpaw gone.

"Hmmm, just some berries she's making all that noise in her sleep and Skysong had said something about giving cats red berries it would make them go to sleep." Tigerpaw mutter nonchalantly. Skysong was the med. cat apprentice in their former clan.

"No, no, no, no, no!!!! Why did you do that!? What did you do?!!!!" The she-cat wheeled around to glare at her son with fangs bared and claws unsheathed. She did not care for the way her son jump away in fright. "You fed her death berries, the red ones don't just put her to sleep they make her sleep forever. Do you want her to leave us like your father!!!!!!!" The queen was half hysterical as she turned back to her daughter. What to do what to do?

"Don't lose me we need find a med. cat or someone." She meowed, dipping her head and grabbing Softpaw by the scruff. There had had to be someone here. She didn't look over her shoulder as she bounced off deeper into the land with Tigerpaw running to catch up. Rosethorn really couldn't deal with any more death, if she lost her kits....she didn't know what she'd do.

    Grim & Greed

    Leader - Tom - || Sin - Tom

Grim let out a long sigh as he neither heard nor spotted the rest of his Sins, so slow. He was mildly disappointed with them, then again, considering how they acted with each other he supposed he shouldn't have expected much from them. Perhaps he should have left Gluttony with them, when Lust wasn't around to keep order, Gluttony worked as a replacement. The jet-black tom glanced downward at the Serval who hadn't moved from his place. He was going to tell him to go hunting, but instead, a thought occurred to him. He should visit them. So the tom straightened his back and dug his claws into the bark, tail extended to keep his balance. "Gluttony, make sure none disturb me until all the Sins have arrived." He ordered, catching those sickly yellow eyes as the tom nodded his head. With that, Grim shut his eyes and fell into slumber.

A mild smirk formed on my maw as I stepped through the fog and my surrounding became clearer. A dirt path comes into sight surrounded by trees bare of leaves, stepping into this forest would robbed you of one sense and heightened the others. It was disorientating to be almost blinded. The sense of smell was sensitized, the loam in the earth and the decomposing leaves made the atmosphere close and thick. The blackness nurtured a sense of claustrophobia inside you even though the woodland stretched unbroken for miles. The narrow path, which was made uneven by the knotted roots that crossed it, branched at intervals. There was no map to follow, but even if there was the perpetual dark would prevent you from using it. But I had been born in this forest. It was where I took my first breath, I was born in this darkness, embraced it, now the shadows the spirits once hid in abandoned them to serve me. This forest of dark spirits was my domain, my kingdom, my home.

It did not take many steps along the path till I found familiar amber peering at me. A ginger tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat covered in scars steps out of the shadows. This cat was nearly as manipulative as Lust, one of the reasons I enjoyed her company. Whereas others in this forest cursed her and insulted, I took a great interest in her story and her. Mapleshade would have made a great sins should she have lived now she served me in this forest of darkness. There is a fondness in her eyes one that resembles a look a mother gives her kits. Yet another reason she reminds me of Lust. "She still hasn't said anything else." Mapleshade meowed, I dismiss her with a wave of my tail veering off the path as the darkness winds around my paws leading me in the direction I need to go.

I found her, a short legged dark red cat, wrapped up in thick vines with claw sharp thorns piercing her body. I found something rather interesting here, when you kill a dark forest cat here they came back. Despite running it was impossible to hide from me in here. "Deathberry." I meowed, peering down at the bloody cat. "Are you ready to tell me how many lives your former leader has yet?" It was rather surprising, this she-cat was the former medicine cat of the clan I was targeting, an omen had been given not long after her birth but it had been ignored, she killed two medicine cats with poison in order to gain her full name faster, after trying to kill her apprentice, caught and exile, she returned for revenge and poisoned her clan's deputy and leader, hoping to cripple the the clan. She managed to kill the deputy, but failed in stripping her leader of all his lives. She was a fascinating feline, but for some reason refused to bend to me. Disappointing. It was time to see if cat would change her tune.

  • Eggpaw

The bored look never quite left Eggpaw's face, although he did let out an amused chuckle in response to Elfinpaw's joke. While the tom could be crude and careless to a majority of the clan, that she-cat was one of the few that was able to soften him up at times. Burntpaw, his closest friend, was another of those few select felines. Foxpaw, however....well, Foxpaw received the brunt of Eggpaw's "tough love," if you could call it that. The solid white tom raised a brow as he watched the scene that his denmate was putting on before rolling his eyes half-heartedly. It was then that he sensed the presence of another in the den, and just then Gentleswoop was there. He's on his own now, He thought in vague defeat, giving his blind friend a nudge before leading the way outside. He caught sight of Wintershadow and visibly winced; he wanted to at least get something to eat before starting his morning duties, but that might have to wait. The tom's ears flicked as he heard the last bit of the confrontation between Spiderpaw and Lambpaw but gave no indication that he noticed. It was a shame; such a young apprentice had no right to be talking to an older one like that, especially when it was kin. Still, Lambpaw wasn't the most...intimidating tom out there. Heck, Eggpaw was sure he would snap in half if a gust of wind blew hard enough.

    Twigheart

The tom made his way over to the gathering cats, hoping to be placed in charge of a patrol. Upon reaching the group, Twigheart stopped idly next to Whitethorn and gave the younger tom a friendly dip of his head. "Decent morning, eh?" He commented as he began to lick his forepaws, swiping them over his face. While the smaller tom didn't particularly worry much about his appearance, he knew that a respectable warrior could never be waltzing around with an unkempt pelt. He pricked his ears to listen for a response, his tail flicking behind him as he patiently waited for the announcement of the patrols.

    Spottedfall

As she waited for her friend, the spotted grey she-cat perked her ears when she heard a familiar childish voice. It was Spiderpaw, and by the way she was talking, Spottedfall could tell who the poor target was. Peering over her shoulder, the sight of the scrawny Lambpaw confirmed her fears. Deciding she would catch up with Rookstep later, she turned on her heels and left the den, leaving the squirrel behind for her comrade. As she walked towards her apprentice, sympathy clouded her mind. She and Lambpaw had a lot in common. In each of their minds, they shouldn't have been born. Spottedfall knew what it was like to be the result of an affair; she hated herself everyday for the way she came into this world. Thanks to her older half-brother and Rookstep, however, she had learned to live with it while wearing a smile on her face. Ever since she was assigned the young tom as her apprentice, she vowed that she would always be there for him like Twigheart and Rookstep were there for her. Coming to Lambpaw's side, she greeted him with a gentle touch of her tail to his shoulder. Leaning down a bit, she snickered, "Wanna put worms in her nest?"

    Pride

Hearing Wrath's snide comment, the she-cat merely huffed and tipped her nose up, lacking any desire to even greet the other with a gaze. She watched her brother slowly prepare himself to leave, and that included gasping as a twig flew from Sloth's pelt and landed at her paws. With a growl, she hopped backwards and glared at the piece of wood before turning her scowl to her littermate. "Sloth! If you don't clean yourself up soon, I'll have gluttony drag you into the river!" She hissed furiously, tail lashing. Getting a closer look at him, she noticed that she was even able to see his ribcage peeking through his disgusting fur. "You look like a pile of crow-food. Wrath, won't you get this sad excuse for a cat something to eat?" Pride inquired plainly, having calmed down a tad after her previous freak-out. She followed their lead, head and tail held high, as usual.

  • Lunafrost

    Deputy / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Apprentice: TBA

Mentioned: Twigheart, Spottedfall, Lambpaw, Eggpaw, Gentleswoop, Foxpaw, Fallencove, Spiderpaw, Hollowskies

Lunafrost's rich blue eyes roamed over the cats as they gathered at her call, she notes the lack of apprentices and internally sighs. The apprentices were their mentors problems. They were missing a few cats, but the deputy didn't bother getting overly concerned about it. Unless duties were given the night before, Lunafrost dislike having cats missing out on patrols. Beyond the mild twitch in her tail, she gave no outward reaction. She parted her maw and began listing off cats for patrols.

"Twigheart, you'll get hunting patrol." She meowed, casting her pale icy eyes on the tom. "Take your apprentice, along with Spottedfall, Lambpaw, Wintershadow, and Eggpaw." She finished with a flourishing wave of her tail. The food pile was rather low, she already knew who to blame for that in the back of her mind. Normally she wouldn't make making Gentleswoop and her apprentice restock it, however, when it came to a rather lazy apprentice, she knew it be more of a punishment to send him on border patrol over hunting.

"I'll take out a border patrol, Fallencove, Hollowskies, Spiderpaw, Gentleswoop, and Foxpaw will accompany me along with Sunblaze." Lunafrost glanced in the direction of their medicine cat as he spoke in hush tone to the clan leader. Normally he'd excitably ask to join a patrol for herbs, even though he hadn't today, Lunafrost was certain he'd still want to go looking for herbs. She gave a dismissing flick of her tail as she waited for the cats to gather up. Although there were still a few cats she had left out of patrols, Lunafrost didn't see the point in taking every cat with little to do out of the camp. It still needed to be guarded. i

    Wintershadow

    Senior Warrior / Tom [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Apprentice: Eggpaw

    Mentioned: Spiderpaw, Eggpaw, Twigheart

The huge maine coon yawned softly as he listened to the she-cat list off patrols. As he got to his paws, he extended his front legs and bent down to stretch out his muscles before straightening and shaking out his pelt. The senior warrior didn't seem at all troubled with having a young cat taking charge of patrol instead of him. Normally, he was rather certain that most high ranks and senior warriors took to leading patrols, but Lunafrost had her own ways of doing thing. Wintershadow wasn't going to complain about, besides, leading was a hassle for him. The tom slowly turned his head to look over at the apprentice den, Wintershadow rarely ever picked up his apprentice. He didn't see the point in it. As he spotted the ivory pelt tom with the stub of a tail. he padded over to him, noticing that Elfinpaw was padding at side with Spiderpaw trailing not to far behind her. The tom was rather proud that the petite apprentice was able to gather cats around her despite her disability, she was not his kin by blood but he treated her as such.

He bent down to briefly touch noises with his Elfinpaw before turning his attention to Eggpaw who seemed somewhat troubled. He assumed the cat would like eat before patrols, normally he'd scold the apprentice for getting up so late and tell him to eat later, however, Wintershadow knew his apprentice wasn't a bumbling fool, Wintershadow saw a lot of himself in the ivory apprentice when he was his age. So he doubted Eggpaw had been sleeping in, his tardiness mostly had something to do with a certain fox. "Go, eat quickly. The patrols don't need to leave right this second." He meowed to his apprentice in a deep tone. His amber gaze flickered over to Twigheart, he figured the tom wouldn't mind it. Wintershadow didn't see the point in having his apprentice go hungry because he had bad taste in friends.

    Elfinpaw

    Apprentice / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing/ Mentor: Twigheart

Mentioned: Foxpaw, Eggpaw, Gentleswoop, Lambpaw, Spiderpaw, Twigheart

If Elfinpaw could see the drama Foxpaw was pulling, she might have done the same thing that Eggpaw had done. Instead, she kept her dreamy smile on her maw and let the tom have his fun. The sound of incoming pawsteps had her turning towards the noise as she recognized the steps as Gentleswoops'. Welp, she tried. Like Eggpaw, she was leaving the tom on his own. At the soft nudge from Eggpaw, she turned and slowly began making her way out of the den. She kept a little closer to Eggpaw then she normally did, using him as a guide of sorts to make sure she didn't run into Gentleswoop on the way out. She caught the tail end of Lambpaw and Spiderpaw's conversation and would have butted right into it, but she's been scolded several times by Wintershadow for interfering in things that had nothing to do with her. It physically hurt her heart to hear kin talking to each other like Spiderpaw did Lambpaw.

Elfinpaw took great value in everything that she was given in this clan, she had no blood kin, couldn't see, had no memory, and wasn't even born in this clan. Yet she had been taken in, given great friends, a stern but kind foster father, and an mentor who was training her to be a warrior. She loved everyone and thing in this clan and hated to hear discord or harm come to those in the clan. It made her sad that she couldn't do anything to settle whatever problems it was the two apprentices had with each other. She paused a little after escaping the den as she heard Spiderpaw call out to them. Regardless of trouble, the petite apprentice offered the younger cat a friendly hello.

"Good morning, Spiderpaw." She purred as sweetly as ever. Her attention was claimed by Lunafrost's voice calling out names for patrols, A soft grumbling sound from her belly reminded her how empty it was, she didn't think Gentleswoop would, but if she let Foxpaw at the fresh kill pile, whatever was left there would be gone. She was suddenly torn between heading over to Twigheart for patrol and eating before Foxpaw got at it. Wintershadow's scent reaches her nose and she greats the with a silent touch of nose, as his attention strays from her, Elfinpaw is still in deep thought until Winterhshadow give the permission to eat. The tortoiseshell beams and doesn't wait as she literally bounces in the direction of the food pile, beckoning with her tail for Spiderpaw and Eggpaw to join her. They had to eat fast, so long as she got a few bites in her belly she'd be fine. If she didn't eat something before doing a bunch of activity she often felt either faint or nausea later on.

    Wrath

    Sin / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Greed

Mentioned: Wrath, Sloth, Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Grim

Wrath watched Sloth as he actually got up, huh?! She thought he'd complain or something about moving, Then again, Wrath wasn't joking about hurting him to get him up. She rolled her eyes at the comment of Grim waking him up, although Grim actually did normally take the time to wake the useless Sin up, even Wrath was smart enough to know Grim was planning something. Days when his mind was working, Grim was often only focused on whatever it was he was planning so remembering to wake Sloth up was something that would've have been forgotten. She twitched an ear, optics following Sloth as he made his way over to the entrance of the room she had already come from. Her eyes fell back to Pride as she finally calmed herself down, and then Wrath had to restrain herself from biting the she-cat. Wrath did not do Sloth-duty. She didn't have the patience for it ever. So instead of biting like she wanted too, the ragdoll merely hissed at Pride with a glower on her.

"He's your brother you feed him." She paused after a second, dumping a cold bucket of water on her fiery temper as she remembered that they had to get moving. "We don't have time to feed him anyway, we gotta go find Grim and Gluttony remember." Wrath was pretty certain, Lust, Envy, and Greed would catch up at some point in time. For now, it was better to be late then ignore Grim's obvious.... whatever. She seriously did not want to deal with Gluttony if push came to shove. Wrath moved to trail after Sloth who was moving at a decent pace today, it was almost funny. She over took him as she made her way down the hallway and out the open door of the den that led outside to the porch and down a path that led into the woods.

IC: The she cat looked at Beastspark as he came over to her chuckling when he noted she was awake "Yes I slept well everything considered, might head to bed early tonight to catch up on what was lost. How was your rest?" she asked as she heard that she would be going on a border patrol along with Spiderpaw she looked at her apprentice whom was standing near Elfinpaw and Eggpaw taking note that they hadn't eaten yet Hallowskies waited thinking of food reminded Hallowskies of how long it had been since she had a meal but as she glanced at the fresh kill pile she knew it would be better to wait then to chance not having enough for the queens and elder. A yawn split her maw as she shook herself a little to wake up some more.glancing back at Beastspark "It seems todays is going to be busy." she allowed her voice to become a bit louder since Lunafrost was now done speaking as she waited for the others to gather in the assigned groups so they may head out.

IC: Sloth watched as Wrath over took him on their way out but kept his pace and followed her out to the path that lead to the woods all the while thinking about his nest and how if he hadn't been rudely awoken he could still be curled there, then he winced realizing then he would risk Grim sending Gluttony back and even though the tom was a friend Sloth didn't want to be on the brunt of that one though mainly Sloth realized Gluttony tolerated him because he was to skinny to eat and that was kind of how Sloth preferred it to remain even though his sister always tried to make him eat something.

Sighing he turned his attention to the task that was silently given hoping that at some point the others would awaken and catch up it felt odd to be awake before the others kind of out of character for him but he shrugged it off, Sloth knew it would be little use to try and use his regular senses to find the two cats that were missing from their group so he went through the details Grim had asked him about just the day before and put his mind to work all the while reaching subconsciously for information.

Well that opportunity was lost today getting to his paws he looked around camp wondering what he could possibly do to pass the time. Feeling a little down down now he tried to keep his emotions in check from his usual self knowing that some cats already preferred to keep their distance due to the unpredictability of his moods.

  • ✧Lambpaw✧Male✧Apprentice✧Crush/Mate: Pending✧Mentor: Spottedfall✧

    Mentions: Spiderpaw, Spottedfall

    24 Sentences - 234 Words

The tom with stilts for legs jolted as he felt someone touch him. Jumpy by nature, it took Lamboaw a moment to realize it was his mentor. A sheepish smile crossed his elongated face. At least his mentor was a nice she-cat. He didn't know if he would have lived this long if she had been mean. His face fell and his ears, long and bat-like, perked up. If Lambpaw's big yellow eyes could get any bigger, they would roll out of his skull. The tom with crinkled fur shook his head at his mentor's suggestion.

He glanced forward seeing Spiderpaw smiling as she trotted after the others. His ears swept back. As much as she hurt him...Lambpaw couldn't bring himself to lash out at anyone but, himself. A small shaky smile peeled back on his maw before he blinked looking back to Spottedfall.

"S-She...She didn't m-mean it..." Lambpaw fibbed. He didn't know that really. But with everything Spiderpaw has been going through he wanted to tread lightly. After all...he couldn't imagine losing his mother. Though his family was in shards...they were alive.

He perked his ears hearing his name called for hunting patrol. He allowed himself a minuscule shimmer of excitement. He liked hunting. The whole point was to disappear from the world to find prey. That was something he was good at.

A smile, sheepish as always, was turned up at his mentor. He hoped he did good this time...

    ✧Spiderpaw✧Female✧Apprentice✧Crush/Mate: Pending✧Mentor: Hollowskies✧

    Mentions: Elfinpaw, Foxpaw, Hallowskies

    19 Sentences - 193 Words

Oblivious to her past actions effects, Spiderpaw bounced on long wobbly legs. Still very much a kit in every aspect. After all, she was only just apprenticed a little while ago. She was still growing into her body. A big smile on her naive, innocent face.

"Morning Elfinpaw! I'm so excited for today" she chirped a bit still holding her kittenish tone. She squiggled a bit like her body couldn't hold the energy that was in her. Long wild tail lashing as she looked up at their deputy. The wide eyes of the tortie darted as if she couldn't focus on much of the words. Though she got the fact she was with Foxpaw and her mentor, Hallowskies. A big grin spit her dark colored maw. Like a light glimmering through the dark.

"Oh Yay!" she gushed bouncing on her paws "Border patrol!"

Perhaps one day Spiderpaw would find the humdrum of clan life boring...but as of now it was all shiny and new.

Seeing Elfinpaw motion for her to come along and eat, the ragged kit squealed. Wiggling a little, she turned on the heels of her paws to follow her.

The chocolate tortie blinked her oval eyes as she listened to the names called out. She didn't hear hers and gracefully sighed. She glanced toward the apprentices. Her discomfort subtle as she shifted her paws in the soft earth. Standing up, Beartongue decided to warm her body up by laying in some sunbeams.

The large cat let out a long relieved sigh as she sank to the ground. There was a lot to sift through today...

  • Snowpaw yawned a little as she woke up. Looking around she noticed with a small sigh that she had slept in again and stretched to try and wake herself up a little quicker before she proceeded to bathe herself quickly. While normally a warrior would be a more rough and tumble type of cat, she took quite a large amount of pride in keeping her coat soft and fluffy. "Oh... I wonder what my mentor will be having me do today?" She mused quietly as she was finishing her bath.

  • Eggpaw

The tom practically felt his friend's disheartenment when they overheard the confrontation between Spiderpaw and Lambpaw. While he personally tried not to care too much about things that didn't concern him, he knew that Elfinpaw was always trying to make peace with everybody. He sighed and gave his head a soft shake before pricking his ears, hearing that he and the blind she-cat would be going on the hunting patrol with...oh come on, Lambpaw? He silently grunted and cast the scrawny tom a look; he hoped the skittish apprentice wouldn't mess them up. While he had nothing against his more delicate denmate, he didn't want him disturbing his own training with his fearfulness. Eggpaw turned his bright yellow gaze towards his mentor as Wintershadow approached them, instinctively dipping his head slightly in greeting. Hearing that he would be allowed to eat, the white-furred apprentice beamed up at the older tom, a rare sight for anyone who knew Eggpaw. "We'll make it quick!" He called out as he bounded after Elfinpaw and Spiderpaw. He wasn't too keen on the childish new apprentice hanging around them, but he was too hungry to care at the moment. As they approached the fresh-kill pile, Eggpaw searched their choices. He was used to picking out something for Elfinpaw, given that the mixed scents of all of the pieces of prey tended to get confusing for the blind she-cat. Finally selecting a plump robin, he plucked it out and dropped it at her feet. "There you go," He murmured, his usual calm demeanor returning. Expecting Spiderpaw to select something for herself, he chose a smaller mouse and settled down to eat.

    Twigheart

The small tom listened intently as the patrols were listed off. Hearing that he would be leading the hunting patrol, Twigheart straightened himself, quite pleased that he was given the responsibility. After all, Wintershadow, a senior warrior, would be accompanying them, and it was a great honor to lead a patrol in place of such a respected cat. However, he knew Wintershadow well, and had always respected him. He knew the massive white tom held the same respect for his clanmates, so he wasn't too worried. As he strolled over towards that very warrior, he noticed his apprentice scamper towards the fresh-kill pile with Eggpaw and Spiderpaw. Guessing that Wintershadow had just given them permission to eat first, Twigheart nodded his silent agreement before coming up beside his clanmate. "Usually I'd say we go to the Twisted Tree for the best luck, but given the, er...recent events, I think perhaps Firefly Falls would be better. What do you think?" The tabby inquired, blinking his teal eyes.

    Spottedfall

Sighing, Spottedfall listened as their names were called to accompany her half-brother and Wintershadow on the hunting patrol. Motioning with her head for her apprentice to follow, she began to pad towards them. She kept her pace slow so that they still had a little time to chat. "Look, I know those kinds of cats. They're just plain mean, Lambpaw. I grew up with them too. Someone will always be there to ridicule your heritage and knock you down a peg, but you just have to remind yourself of who you are, and what you are." Spottedfall tended to be rather blunt with issues such as these, and it showed in her advice. She gave the lanky tom a small nudge and whispered, "You are a proud apprentice of PeaceClan. You are only a couple of moons away from your warrior ceremony. You have overcome adversity and pain, and you can get through this as well." Suddenly, the she-cat's mood drastically changed and she grinned down at the young cat, straightening herself. "Now, let's have some fun! I'm sure you can teach Eggpaw and Elfinpaw a thing or two, right?" Spottedfall grew a bit nervous at the prospect of the other apprentices on their little hunting trip. She knew Elfinpaw was a sweetheart, but Eggpaw could be a tad too rude for the likes of Lambpaw. If he tried anything, she vowed she would chew the rest of what's left of his stumpy tail right off!

    Pride

"Ugh," The small she-cat groaned, rolling her eyes dramatically. While she wanted to argue, she knew Wrath was right; Grim and Gluttony wouldn't stay patient for long. She quickened her pace and followed after the other she-cat. "You'd better eat and clean yourself up when we return. I won't have my brother embarrassing me like that," Pride hissed softly to her littermate as she passed him. She squinted her hazel eyes against the sunlight as they exited the large den in which they made their home but didn't falter as she padded purposefully after Wrath. Frankly, she didn't want to bother herself with the brunt work of finding their leader, so she left that to Wrath for the most part.

The tom followed his mentor. Looking up at her as she advised him against his forgiving attitude toward Spiderpaw. His ears tipped back and confusion filled his large yellow eyes. He blinked, glancing over at the smiling bouncing kit following Elfinpaw.

    They're just plain mean, Lambpaw

Furrowing his brow he looked back up at his mentor. She gave him a nudge. In return his long legs made him wobble since he wasn’t expecting it. A bit flustered, he straightened hearing his mentor compliment him.

He opened his mouth to speak only for the mood to change. She was smiling and saying how he could teach Elfinpaw and Eggpaw a thing or two. Anxiety wracked his bony frame and he audibly swallowed some air.

Um...Uh Y-Yeah?” his voice pitched with his nerves and he smiled awkwardly. He didn’t interact much with Eggpaw or Elfinpaw. Most of the time, fearing confrontation, the tom left them to their little group. Now he might have to interact with them more.

Chewing his lip, Lambpaw closed his eyes and breathed in then out. Trying to straighten himself a bit, he put on his bravest face. He stayed by his mentor watching the other apprentices eat. He could get some later...all this stress was ruining his appetite.

Spiderpaw blinked looking at the pile of killed prey. She watched Eggpaw get something for Elfinpaw without asking her. The kit blinked sitting and wondering if he would help her find something too. He was being nice after all. When he got his own and left her to her own…

The kit blinked, disappointed. Her expression of being overwhelmed was palpable as she looked at the pile. Her eyes darting in confused indecision. Usually her Mama would pick for her. But...But Mama wasn’t here anymore…

The wound, fresh and festering, clenched over her heart as she poked the pile, helpless. The wild-furred kit delicately picked a small shrew. It was a shrew right?

    Oooo, she couldn’t remember.

Trying to shake the webs of her mother’s passing, Spiderpaw wiggled her way over to the two older apprentices. She placed herself close to them, wedging herself into their circle. Perhaps looking for attention. After all, her family was broken. Her father depressed, an uncle she was supposed to hate, angry grandparents and…

    Mentioned: Fallencove, Hallowskies, Spottedfall, Lambpaw.

The she-cat watched the gathering cats retreated to tend to their business while rolling her shoulders backward, working out a minor kink there. She rose with a sway of her tail and bent forwards, arching her back in a light stretch until she heard the sound of small bones popping around. Feeling slightly better and more relaxed as well as awake her crystal clear blues darted around the camp. She took notice of her father and brother chatting off to the side, but left them be seeing as whatever it was they were talking about she wasn't made to be a part of it.

The paws danced along the ground in an elegant dance as she moved from away from her former position, heading near the foodpile. She stopped, some tail lengths away as she saw the small group of apprentices gathered around it. Although she had brought in some prey just earlier and had seen Fallencove and Hollowskies bring some as well, the pile looked low. She faint made a mental reminder to talk with a russet about how much prey he took from the pile. The thought of eating is dashed, as she looks over to the nursery and the elder's den. She could eat later. She turned to go climb the ledge that brought them out of the gorge camp, her gaze found Spottedfall and her thin apprentice, Lambpaw.

The tom looked as skittish and jump as ever. That wasn't what bothered her, he wasn't eating. Lunafrost wasn't concerned rather or not the warriors ate, the apprentices should get in a quick meal when it came to sunhigh because they were still growing. At least that is what her mother always told her. The russian blue was tempted to tell Spottedfall to make sure to Lambpaw ate before patrolling, yet kept her maw shut. Even though concerned, the tom wasn't hers to guide and she didn't think it was a good idea to go around telling mentors what they should do, even if it was in another's best interest. A gentle frown crossed her maw as she continued over to the incline and waited for her patrol to gather.

    Wintershadow

    Senior Warrior / Tom [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Apprentice: Eggpaw

    Mentioned: Eggpaw, Spiderpaw, Twigheart

It was fascinating seeing how such small things could improve a cat's mood. Wintershadow observed his young apprentice as he bounced off rather positive for Eggpaw, to eat with the other two cats. Eggpaw was often with Elfinpaw, the two were often together along with Foxpaw. Spiderpaw was new, he assumed that the young cat had attached herself to Elfinpaw more then Eggpaw. He highly doubted his apprentice would tolerate the newly made apprentice for long. Whereas most saw his apprentice's moodiness and rudeness as a negative, Wintershadow didn't mind it and rarely bothered scolding him for speaking his mind.

Wintershadow had an endless amount of patience, and although not all that old, had a bit of wisdom to share with those in need. He never expected more then a cat could give and didn't see the point in changing to fit other expectations. Eggpaw was himself, so long as it didn't hurt the clan or wasn't openly disrespectful, Wintershadow let the tom form his own opinions and views about the cats around him regardless of how harsh them seemed. The senior warrior turned his attention to the smaller tom as he made his way over, bowing his head in a light greeting to Twigheart. As the question of hunting grounds was brought up, Wintershadow nodded his head in agreement.

"Firefly Falls will do. I can see about catching some fish there." Even though Echoshine's death had been some sunrises ago and no sign of anything amiss had gone on since he'd feel better keeping the apprentices out of harm's way. It was getting colder as well, it might be a good idea about teaching Eggpaw how to catch fish for when the prey on land became scarce.

    Elfinpaw

    Apprentice / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing/ Mentor: Twigheart

    Mentioned: Eggpaw, Spiderpaw, Lambpaw

Elfinpaw was still in the midst of figuring out what she was going to be eating, she could sit in front of the pile for moons completely indecisive. The fresh-kill pile tended to hold the most scents since cats always brought their catches in their maw. If that was mixed with how many cats came by to eat here the scents tended to collided and overwhelm her the same way medicine cats with herb scents clinging to them and the medicine cat den overwhelmed her. Her nose was just a little bit more sensitive than average cats and she didn't want to deal with a sneezing fit.

The slight tortie rotates her head in Eggpaw's direction as he came up and grabbed something for her. She purred a grateful thanks to tom, dipping her head to grab what felt like a wing in her maw. She padded over and plopped herself down directly beside Eggpaw, close enough that her pelt brushed against his and began eating after dropping her bird to the ground. Being blind, Elfinpaw liked to make sure she was touching something. When sleeping she made sure she was against the wall of the apprentice den or that she slept close enough to one of the toms that it didn't feel like she was floating off into nothingness. Now it was just a bad habit to brush against other cats.

Taking the eat quickly to heart, she was nearly done with her bird when she felt the slight nudge to her side. She glanced in the direction of the nudge, moving a little to the side, as the somewhat milky scent of the youngest apprentice claimed her attention. Oh, Spiderpaw. She forgot about her, finding that Spider didn't make much noise when she moved. It would take a little bit for Elfinpaw to learn the Spiderpaw walking pattern and paw steps. Elfinpaw didn't mind having Spiderpaw around them, even though she was only a moon older and not much bigger, having Spiderpaw around gave Elfinpaw an odd sense of responsibility. Knowing that Eggpaw most likely didn't have the kittish apprentice following them, Elfinpaw cast the tom a somewhat pleading smile for him to not be too outspoken with the younger one.

"Well, if I had a choice I'd try hunting an egg." She answered Spiderpaw's question seriously. Half of the reason for that was because of Eggpaw's name but the other half was because she honestly wanted to catch an egg. She's never felt an egg before and was determined to find one at some point in her life. "Or a frog." Wintershadow had caught a frog near the wetlands in the warmer seasons, it felt so weird she had been utterly enthralled by it as a kit and wouldn't mind catching one herself. "A rabbit might be nice too." At this point, Elfinpaw was listing off creatures she wanted to feel. "Oh, Spiderpaw?" She inquired, changing the subject a little bit. "How come you don't get along with Lambpaw?" It was an honest question so she didn't think Wintershadow could scold her for it. It was sad for her seeing Kin couldn't get along with Kin, they were supposed to be family.

    Silentkit

    Kit/ Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Developing / Mentor: TBA

    Mentioned:

    *mixed with Wildfire*

    Wildfire

    Queen/ Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Whitethorn /Apprentice: N/A

    Mentioned: Sunblaze, Whitethorn, Lionkit, Beastspark

The slightly round she-cat was resting on her side, Her eyelids were slowly opening, unveiling luminous sun lit eyes. Velvety ears rising to pause at a leisurely standing, she let her plume-like tail brush behind her as she gracefully swept upwards, sighing gently and bowing her head. The Queen arched her back in a relieving stretch, undoing the fierce tensions from the night.. A shiver climbed up her spine as she felt just a tad bit colder as the weather changed. The newest Queen sat down as soon as she finished stretching, finding the urge to curl back up on her nest and sleep the cold away. Outside she could hear the sounds of cats as the moved around to do their duties. Wildfire was still working on learning about the clan and their ways, but found she liked clan life and was fitting in pretty well.

She had to stay in Sunblaze's den for the first few days after coming into the clan, it was thanks to him and Whitethorn that she wasn't constantly stressing herself out with the fear of this litter she'd be having. After Sunblaze found she'd was with kits, and she explained her fears to him, he had come up with a plan to find her a tom to play her mate at least in name. She still wasn't sure why he picked Whitethorn nor why the warrior agreed, but she wasn't complaining. All it took was a few visits from Whitethorn while she was in the medicine cat's den and she hung around him as he taught her about the clan life, by the time she was showing with a belly bump everyone simply assumed she was with Whitethorn. Considering how big a favor Whitethorn was doing for her, Wildfire had already promised that he'd be free to 'break up' with her as soon as she had the litter. She honestly didn't care much about the reason he gave for them splitting, he could blame it all on her if wanted to.

So long as the clan thought the clan thought that her kits had some ties to them and if Tod ever showed up again, her kits had someone to call their father it worked out for her. The ginger feline turn her emerald eyes over to the kit who was working on waking up the other kits from their sleep. The little one that never spoke a word, Silentkit. She never talked but the kit had a big personality so Wildfire felt the kit would be find growing her, if she recalled correctly, Beastspark was her father. The tom often visited the nursery to check on Silentkit, he was rather friendly watching him with Silentkit was adorable. The she-cat smiled at the though taking a seat to watch Silentkit, she worried a bit about Lionkit since he had lost his mother, but she didn't know the tom well enough to know if there was anything she should worry about with him. Wildfire wasn't sure what she should do for him, so she simply fell back on instincts and did what felt natural and took care of the kits as best she could like she would her own.

    Wrath

    Sin / Molly [♀] / Crush/Mate: Greed

Mentioned: Sloth, Pride, Gluttony, Grim, Lust,

As Wrath took to leading the way into the forest, she paused every so often to scent the air and frown. Of course, Grim couldn't make this easy and leave a proper scent trail like normal cats. He had go and rub himself on every freaking tree and confused her. Wrath stopped walking and looked over her shoulder at the sibling Sins, though wasn't expecting much help from Pride. She figured the cat was expecting her to do all the grunt work seeing as it was something beneath Pride, Wrath rolled her eyes. She glanced over at Sloth who seemed lost in his own mind, normally when the tom wasn't sleeping or being lazy his mind was working. Wrath admitted that while lazy, the tom was certainly the smartest out of all of them.

Although they all had their roles to play in this disturbed family, Lust, Gluttony, and Sloth tended to stand out a bit more. Lust clearly as the head and the so called mother of the Sins, Gluttony was more or less the enforcer, and Sloth was oddly enough the brains. She supposed Pride would be up there too since Grim needed someone to make sure Sloth was minded. Grim had a habit of keep them closer to him then the rest, but Wrath didn't care much about who was favored or not. So long as she got to spill some blood she was happy.

"Alright, I give up." She meowed after walking and turning in a circle a few times. Gluttony probably could of sniffed his way to Grim with his crazy bloodhound nose, but Wrath was no good like that, fighting she considered herself the best out of the sins, but tracking wasn't something she did. "Sloth, we are we going?" She asked, expecting him to pick up her slack like usually.

  • Eggpaw

Eggpaw shifted slightly when Elfinpaw settled in next to him, growing rigid only slightly. He knew she only got so close to him to help balance her since she couldn't see anything, but still, the close proximity made him a bit uneasy at first. However, it didn't take long for him to grow comfortable with it, like he always did. "Something a whole lot bigger than you," The bob-tailed tom muttered in response to Spiderpaw's question, too quietly for the brand new apprentice to hear. However, he could nearly feel the impending elbow in his ribcage that Elfinpaw would likely throw him to scold him for his rudeness, so he quickly pricked his ears and looked back at the tiny she-cat. "Erm, I mean, probably a squirrel...or something...I guess." Eggpaw was clearly unamused by their new companion, but he inwardly promised to play nice, especially after the pleading grin that his friend threw his way. Deciding he would let his more friendly denmate handle the conversation, he dug into his meal, quickly finishing it off with a few clean bites. He idly listened to Elfinpaw speak as he cleaned the blood from his white paws and face, twitching an ear when she mentioned she'd hunt an egg. Very funny. As he groomed himself, he tensed slightly when Elfinpaw asked Spiderpaw about her feud with her kin and practically groaned, throwing the blind she-cat an incredulous look. Eggpaw hated getting involved with anyone's issues. That was why he only concerned himself with a very small, select group of cats. Nobody else mattered too much to him. Rolling his eyes, he flattened himself to the ground, preparing to listen to the drama that he wanted no part in.

    Spottedfall

Giving her apprentice an affectionate nudge, the spotted grey she-cat quickly made her way towards her older half-brother and Wintershadow with Lambpaw in tow. "So! Where are we headed today?" Spottedfall chirped quite loudly, sliding into the two toms' space. She glanced towards the other apprentices that were huddled near the fresh-kill pile and was tempted to tell Lambpaw to go join them, but she knew that would likely make him even more nervous. If he wanted to eat, he was old enough to know to eat. She turned her gaze down to the lanky tom before looking back at her companions. She was quite comfortable around her brother, but Wintershadow's presence made her slightly uneasy. It wasn't that he in particular had any effect on her, but rather most cats in the clan made her feel slightly unwanted. That was the result of being the result of a forbidden affair, though.

    Twigheart

The tom nodded, flicking his tail thoughtfully. Fishing. That was one of his greatest challenges as a mentor. How do you teach a blind cat to catch something that she can't smell? When Twigheart was first assigned Elfinpaw as his apprentice, he was nervous. It was certainly an honor to be trusted to take on the challenging task of training a blind apprentice, but he hadn't known where to begin. It has been some time since then and the little she-cat has impressed him more than he could have expected. She had more heart and determination than several warriors in this clan, and he had no doubt in his mind that she would make him very proud on the day she received her full name. But still, would she ever be able to fish? Twigheart was about to ask Wintershadow for his thoughts on the matter before Spottedfall and Lambpaw approached the pair. With a purr, he gave his half-sister an affectionate lick on the forehead before touching his tail-tip to Lambpaw's shoulder in greeting. "We're going to Firefly Falls. We'll be leaving shortly, once Eggpaw and Elfinpaw are finished eating." The small tom glanced at his sister's frail apprentice and tilted his head slightly. "Lambpaw, are you going to eat before we head out?" It was hard to imagine the skinny tom having any fuel to hunt without a scrap of fat on him, but he was also one of the older apprentices; surely he knew himself better than Twigheart did.

    Speaking with: Open

IC: The she cat waited for her apprentice to finish eating so that could head out on patrol. She flicked her ears in slight irritation before moving closer to the group of apprentices so that she could keep and eye and ear on them if they continued to chatter away they would never l;eave and therefore be shirking their duties.Something Hallowskies was not to keen on doing so she would only wait so long before interrupting them.

IC: The tom took a few moments before letting his mind settle back into reality remembering the promise of fun from Grim the day before he smiled knowing that the group bordered a different 'clan' he believed they called it he headed in that direction taking note that the two she cats had stopped to look at him he knew that they were relying on his mind to figure out where the toms had taken off to. Making his paw steps light he began to rely on the power of the dark forest like Grim had taught them. The toms gaze took in everything around him, as he moved towards the border.

IC: The tom thought for a moment then decided to visit Wildfire in the nursery stopping by the fresh kill pile first he went around the apprentices that stood there eating and talking like they had nothing to do letting out a slight huff as he moved past them he looked at the pile a moment before selecting a pheasant that would be big enough for him and the she cat to share if she chose to. Taking it carefully in his teeth he started off towards the nursery the odd weight of the pheasant throwing him off slightly he climbed spotting the pelt of Fallencove probably there to see Pebbledune nudging the tom with his paw awkwardly the other tom moved out of the way so that Whitethorn could enter once his eyes adjusted he picked his way around the others to where Wildfire sat.

OOC: It will always take me a moment to fill all my characters in sorry I will be filling it ahead of time from now on.

  • Pride

The tiny she-cat gave her fawn-colored head a swift shake as she continued to follow Wrath, her ear twitching in boredom. Her half-lidded eyes swept across the forest with disinterest. Why must Grim always play these games with them? It seemed pointless, at least for her. There were much better things she could be doing with her time other than playing a game of hide and seek. Gazing idly at Sloth and Wrath, however, she mused that perhaps those two needed to keep their skills sharpened. Inwardly sighing, she halted behind the other she-cat when she suddenly stopped, lashing her tail in mild annoyance. Pride remained silent, finding little purpose in wasting her breath right now. If Wrath couldn't find them, she was sure that her brother could. Dragging her bored gaze over to her sloppy littermate, she waited for him to take the lead.
