  • Ah yes, thank you ^^ I will now start us off.

Davis was most likely feeling an adrenaline rush. It has taken a long while but now hopefully, he would finally be able to get a murderer off the streets. This murderer was somewhat sloppy but almost committed the perfect crimes. Davis was by himself, having said earlier that he would be able to handle apprehending the murderer by himself. He felt around on his belt, making sure that he had handcuffs and his gun attached to his belt. And now, Davis was making his way to where he had concluded that the murderer was staying. He wrapped his fingers around the handle of the gun and he pulled his gun out of its holder. He had debated on whether or not he should kick the door down.

But, he decided against it and was happily agreeing with himself when he picked the semi-rusty lock. Davis also made his presence known in the room, just to alert the murderer... if the murderer was in here of course. His guard was up as he looked around, thinking of how he could lure the other male out. “Come out Jackson.” He spoke, having known the murderer’s name once some searching and digging was done to find the suspect. His other hand rested on his hip where his handcuffs were.

  • Jackson was pretty frantic at the moment. He killed another person just about an hour ago. He always hated himself for a few hours after he committed a crime. He would regret it almost immediately. Jackson was at his “house” and tried to pack some stuff up. He just stayed at some run down, abandoned two story house. Jack was upstairs working on getting his money in a duffel bag. He always got money somehow out of killing someone. He hated doing his job, but he needed money somehow. It was hard to make this kind of money anywhere else anyway.

Jackson was moving as quick as he could, getting whatever clothes he needed and whatever cash wasn’t in the bag already. Jackson froze hearing light footsteps downstairs, followed by his name not long after. ‘Shit.’ He thought and looked around the room for anyway he could escape in the quickest and quietest way possible. Someone must’ve snitched on him, or the law enforcement was actually smart. Jackson acknowledged a window, and tried making his steps as light as possible as he walked over. Looking out, he bit his lip seeing how much of a drop that was. He was scared of heights. No way was he doing that. Sure his life was at stake, but he still had his fears. The only result he had was to kill this guy first. He went to a drawer a pulled out a gun. He didn’t want to do this. He just killed someone not long ago, and he didn’t like it. Jackson wasn’t ready to kill someone else today.

  • Davis lifted his cranium up and looked at the stairs. Of course, Jackson must be upstairs. He started to go up the staircase, one stair at a time so that he was being quiet and careful. He was aware that the majority of suspects would have some type of weapon on them whenever they got caught so he had to acknowledge that Jackson might have a weapon. But, hopefully, he might be able to talk Jackson down... though, he wasn't really good at talking someone down and backing out of something. "Jackson..." Davis repeated Jackson's name again as he was at the top of the staircase. Was Davis nervous? Very much so, yes. But he could not let his nervousness get in the way of his job right now.

"Jackson, why don't you come outside with your hands up and then we can talk?" Davis called out, back pressed against the wall as his voice was cracking the silence that loomed over. He hoped Jackson would be cooperative with him and not make this difficult.

  • Jackson was shaking pretty badly. He was scared. He didn’t really want to kill this guy. It was the only way he could get out of this situation. Jack really thought it all over. He had no one to turn to, really. No one in his family was still around. He never dated anyone ever because he was too busy trying to lay low and kill people. Jack’s body was still shaking, but he stayed where he was. Jackson decided he wasn’t going to try and kill this guy. He didn’t know this guy’s personal life. Maybe he had a family at home or something, and Jackson didn’t. In Jack’s eyes, whoever else was in the house, needed a better life and a good chance.

  • Not getting a response was quite unnerving for Davis. He’d been nervous about this, not knowing what would happen and even his heartrate was starting to pick up and accelerate a little. Well, talking looked like it would not work. Davis moves carefully now, keeping his back to the wall until he got to a door, hoping that would be the room that Jackson was in. He reached out with his free hand to grab the doorknob and jiggle it to see if it was unlocked or locked. He still held onto his gun, just in case it was needed, burn he would put it away if he had to just so that he wouldn’t seem like a threat. He was chewing on the inside of his cheek as he slowly started to turn the doorknob, finding it unlocked and then he opened the door which made a loud creaking sound.

  • Jackson jumped hearing the doorknob move. He bent down and put the gun on the ground, looking up whenever the door opened not long after. He moved his hand away from the gun and put his hands up slightly. Jack bit his lip. "I won't hurt you." He said to him. Jackson felt like this was it. He probably had a death sentence waiting for him, and he was scared about it. He didn't want to die, but then again, why shouldn't he? He's killed a few, and this is what he deserves. Jackson expected this to happen the moment it all started. It was only a matter of time until it did happen.

  • When Davis stepped into the room, he looked at Jackson and then he looked down to where the gun was. Then he looked back up at Jackson. He did not know why, but he was feeling sympathetic towards Jackson, though he shouldn't be... He was supposed to have come here and arrest Jackson for multiple murders and that would be it. Davis thought that Jackson wasn't like the majority of murderers that he has met. Most seemed agitated and violent when they were about to arrested but Davis did not see this from Jackson. Davis' breath hitched into his throat quietly and he was slowly putting his gun into the holder that was attached to his belt. His other hand had been on his handcuffs but he was slowly moving his hand away from his hip area. He wanted to see if he can try and talk to Jackson, and see if that would help. "Are you nervous? Scared?" Davis was finally speaking to Jackson.

  • Jackson watched him closely. There was something about this guy that made Jack feel safer or something. Maybe this guy cared some. Jackson nodded. “Y-Yeah.” He answered honestly. He wasn’t sure what this guy was going to try and do, but he still needed to keep his guard up. They weren’t best friends just yet. Jackson watched the guy’s hands. It seemed like maybe he trusted Jackson somewhat. He was expecting to be handcuffed almost immediately. Maybe it’d take a bit to get to that point. He’d never been arrested though. He knew it’d just happen when it did. “Uh, am i able to know your name?” He asked.

  • Davis was watching Jackson with an alert yet rather soft gaze. He was wanting to make sure that Jackson was not going to try anything. Davis did not have his hands on the handcuffs that he was originally going to use on Jackson and since his gun was put away, he didn’t seem like a threat. “Well, you shouldn’t be nervous or scared.” He spoke. “I just wanna talk.” Davis added on to his sentence. Something about Jackson made Davis hesitant about arresting him. But what would happen if Davis didn’t arrest Jackson? “Well, my name is Davis... you know my name now.” Davis introduced himself. “And, I’m not going to arrest you.” He admitted.

  • Jackson relaxed more as this guy talked. This guy really cared about him he inferred. Davis was being nicer than most stories he’d heard about with cops. Hearing that Davis just wanted to talk, he sighed in relief. Hearing that Jack wasn’t going to be arrested, made him even more happier. He smiled some, just to frown after thinking about it. “Are you sure?” He asked. Jackson bit his lip. “You could get into serious trouble if you didn’t arrest me, right?” Jackson met his gaze before he looked back at Davis’ hands. “I mean, I’m thankful you’re letting me go, but I know what I deserve. I don’t want you to get into trouble.”

  • Davis should have figured that he would get in trouble if he did not arrest Jackson. “Nobody has to know, if I say that you escaped before I could get to you then I won’t get in trouble.” Davis explained to him. “You’re different than other murderers that I’ve met. “Most murderers are aggressive and show agitation when they’re about to be arrested. But you are showing none of that.” Davis told Jackson before continuing. “You’re nervous and scared. But I would like to know why you’re so nervous... murderers aren’t usually nervous.” Davis continued to say, seeming interested in Jackson, there’s was just something about him that made him so interesting.
