Maybe he and this lady could become friends? She's trying to tap into her ~adult self~ and hang out with non-children since she's spent all of her adulthood raising and caring for her own kids at the expense of everything else. A few random ideas if you're interested:
- They go on a patrol or a walk or something and find a bunch of old skeletons of cats long dead (not Clan cats, maybe wildcats or something?) and try to figure out who they were/make up stories to explain their presence
- They go on a walk and find an abandoned Twoleg house or hunting cabin and explore it
- They encounter a venomous snake, oh no!
- They get caught in a bad storm while on patrol and almost get struck by lightning
- Dovethroat gets pooped on by a bird and needs help washing it off bc she's not flexible enough to reach it lol
- They come across a rabid squirrel/fox/possum/etc.
Apparently I'm just full of ideas today wtf
Also would be open to a long-term romance plot because Dove is a hopeless romantic *smooches*
