PERSONALITY

Dovethroat has spent much of her adult life preparing for, carrying, and raising her children. Being a mother has always been something that she's wanted to do and do well, and she is well-suited for it. When her kits were young, she tried to be the best parent that she could be, particularly raising her children alone after the disappearance of their father. She was patient, gentle, and kind, and put her own life on hold to be there for them no matter what. But now that her children are grown and apprenticed, spending time off on their own with their Clanmates, mentors, and friends, she struggles to find her own worth outside of mothering them.

Dovethroat is a large, slenderly-built Turkish Van with an all-white pelt. Her fur looks like a thousand strands of silken spiderwebs draped elegantly over her graceful form, unbroken by any of the standard Turkish Van markings her children inherited from her gene pool. She also carries heterochromia, meaning her left eye is amber while the right is an icy shade of blue. She has diminished hearing capacity in her right ear, which means she often carries her head at a slight angle to ensure that she can hear everything going on around her without too much trouble.

1. Now that her children have left the nest, Dovethroat needs to focus on herself and figuring out what kind of life she wants to have. And, as hard as it is for her to admit it, she's lonely. Some kind of sappy love plot is definitely in her future, maybe even *le gasp* with a non-SkC member!

2. Maybe in her attempt to "find herself" she'll go on some kind of quest that she thinks is given to her by StarClan?
