    OOC: Text here

IC: Agnimitra was a tyro. She'd been tortured as a kit, lost her ear to a member. Now, she and that member were friends. Strange, I know. Well, that member had escaped execution and now resided in Riverclan. Or so he had told her. Now, the firey tyro crossed border after border, unseen or heard as a shadow. She stepped up to the Riverclan border and composed herself for the first meeting. Probably not going to be welcomed very well, they had only just become neutral with Riverclan after all.

She called out as best she could. "I am here to visit for a bit. May I please speak to your leader?" That's her all right, always trying to jump straight to the leader.

  • BLUEMASK

    Riverclan - Warrior - Male - 14 moons

So, they’d finally reached neutrality. These things always seemed so fragile with Bloodclan. Despite it all, it was like trekking across thin ice. One slip of a claw and everything would crack. They’d be back at square one. Besides, it seemed without Riverclan to torment they had grown bored. Were they that hungry for violence? Unnecessary violence. While Riverclan was spared, their allies were not. Forced to lead a raid right to them so that Skyclan may be left alone. It was entirely selfish to think ‘better them than us’ but Bluemask had beyond tired of the torment. He would, however, be glad to come to their defense should it come down to it. Those who were their allies would beat out a delicate neutrality. He wondered briefly how Heronswoop had fared in it all. Abandoning one clan in the heat of this tension, in hopes to find peace, only to be at the center of a brewing battle. This whole thing was rather unfair, wasn’t it?

When Bloodclan scent reaches his nose he had to remind himself not to bristle. The hostility was meant to be gone. That would take time. Trust would have to be earned. Truthfully, he wasn’t counting on that happening. The call of a voice reached out to him, lanky legs carrying him to the border. A pair of icy eyes narrowed ever so slightly on the visitor. A tyro? Is that what they called them? She looked awfully young. He couldn’t imagine what this one lone clan members would possible want with Gladestar. “What business do you have?” He asked curtly, watchful eyes never leaving her. He wasn’t particularly keen on leaving this girl at the border alone while he went off to fetch their leader. Surely he had more important things to tend to than to bargain with Bloodclan.

OOC: Sesshomaru Shatter's first BC visit! Ya' don't wanna miss it, do ya'?

IC: Agnimitra's eyes narrowed at the first to arrive. Not the leader, she didn't think. "I said the leader...but you'll have to do so long as you're a warrior." She huffs. "I heard that an ex-Bloodclanner recently joined your ranks. He goes by the name of Shatter. Heard of him? At all?" She hopes Shatter had made it. Hopes that a Bloodclan patrol hadn't been sent out to catch him, or even an enemy patrol of some other clan. Her ear would've flicked, but now she has none. Both had been torn off. One by the very member she was here to see, the other by a Skyclan warrior. Instead, he tail began waving behind her, slight, erratic movements that showed her anxiousness.

  • BLUEMASK

    Riverclan - Warrior - Male - 15 moons

As long as you're a warrior. Well, he certainly hoped he didn't look like anything else. He fought the urge to glance back over his shoulder--would anyone else arrive? Surely this scent would alert someday. But he'd be damned if he turned his back on one of their ranks. Now here came the problem with neutrality. Bluemask him self had often been on the receiving patrol of new members. Former kittypets, loners, rogues...Even a stray tribe member here or there. In most cases, it seemed there was no trouble as a result. Those who pulled their weight, who showed loyalty, were generally accepted. It was a simply system. Yet, when it came to Bloodclan...Were it up to Bluemask alone, he may have turned every last one of them away. The smell of the city was enough to make the fur along his spine prick with irritation. Did neutrality mean they were meant to accept all who came to them? Offer refuge with no explanation? Shatter. A tom with whom he had yet to interact with. But he knew the faces of Riverclan well enough. At the very least, he was familiar with the name. A boy who arrived with crimson clinging to his fur, a metallic and smoggy smell surrounding him. And now, a guest from his home. Perhaps he did not consider it to be home anymore. Maybe he truly meant to sever his involvement with them--to make good on his promise of being better. Now, with someone in search of him, Bluemask was not entirely convinced. "What about Shatter?" He returned coolly, admittedly a tad curious. Stars, let this be quick. He would so much rather spend the evening hunting than exchanging words at the border.

    all your life . . .

    .。.:*☆ 。

The scent of BloodClan could never be a welcome one. Not after... after everything.

Daylightpaw's fur prickled as he caught it on the wind. Despite the neutrality, the boy couldn't help but wonder if...

    If...

    No.

Trepidation slowed his pawsteps to a creep. He dropped into a crouch as he moved through the underbrush, fear keeping him utterly silent. BloodClan had done so much damage. At this point his caution was not so much paranoia as it was common sense.

Why was a BloodClanner on their border?

What Day saw once he drew close enough to look didn't enlighten him much, but it did put him at ease just a little. His mentor, bold and strong, faced off against the BloodClanner-- a cat Day couldn't identify but wouldn't soon forget, mangled as she was. For a moment Daylight couldn't help but stare. Bluemask was so... so sure of himself. So confident, so certain. The kid had never seen his mentor's pawsteps waver. He'd never seen him flinch or stutter or backtrack.

He was everything Day wanted to be.

There were no claws out, but Day couldn't judge the situation yet, could he? The blue-eyed tabby bounded out of the underbrush, claws sheathed but still on guard.

Remember your training. Just in case... just in case, remember what Bluemask has taught you.

"Uh... hi Bluemask!" Day piped up as he approach his mentor. "Who's this? Why do they want to talk to Shatter?" He paused, blinked, then turned to the BloodClanner. "Are you gonna take him back to BloodClan or something?"

    Personally, Day wouldn't mind...

He didn't really-- he didn't really feel safe around the tom.

OOC: Agni is a molly, not a tom, thank you! ^^

IC: Agnimitra listened a moment and simply responded with. "He was one of my only friends, am I not allowed to want to try and visit him?" Then an apprentice bounds out of the undergrowth and asks who this is. "Agnimitra, tyro of Bloodclan. Er...I guess you call them apprentices." She says. Then the question of if she was going to be taken back to Bloodclan. 'Are you going to take him back to Bloodclan?' Agnimitra's eyes narrow and she says calmly. "I am a molly, not a tom, thank you very much."

  • "No, you shouldn't be allowed." Orangepaws sudden hostility shocked even herself as she approached, standing besides the smaller Daylightpaw with slit eyes. Her fur bristled angrily, her paws planted firmly into the ground. Her lips were pursed tight, tail swishing back and forth as she'd fight back the urge to snarl at the other female. The smell of sulfur, thunderpath and the city made her sick, the smell absolutely nauseous to her. "Besides, isn't this technically breaking the warrior code? Whats with everyone thinking they can cross borders without punishment!" her voice was exasperated and her eyes went to immediately search her present clanmates for any sort of hesitance, any of the kind of anger that she was feeling currently. Shatter wasn't even good! At the mention of the filthy name in her thoughts she'd fight back another growl. "You can take him, we don't want him." her voice was light-hearted, forced with a giant smile.

  • BLUEMASK

    Riverclan - Warrior - Male - 15 moons

Bluemask offered a curt nod of greeting to his apprentice as he approached. Perhaps this would be a learning opportunity--for the both of them. Truthfully, he was usually a cat of fewer words than Daylightpaw was. At least, in situations like this. He wasn't sure what this molly's angle was. To have the audacity to show up at their border alone, in hopes of a visit, was surprising enough. Then again, Bloodclan had always seemed to play by their own set of rules. Regardless of what she thought about the borders, Bluemask knew where he stood. A warrior of stone and one who had followed the rules strictly since day one. He regarded her silently. His own opinions on the neutrality aside, he wasn't keen on creating more problems. He hoped that, at the very least, they had that in common. Daylightpaw's inquiry about whether or not Shatter was being taken back to Bloodclan had been on his mind as well. Had she come here to take back who was supposedly her only friend? He would've thought Shatter fickle were he to leave so shortly after his arrival. In the same breath, he would've been relieved. He breathed out slowly, icicle eyes never leaving that of Agnimitra. "Neutrality or not, you know as well as I do that that does not mean we have an open border policy." He was firm and calm in his words. Besides, had she not been in search of their leader? How did Shatter fit into all of this? He couldn't very well allow her to linger here until the tom showed up. He did not bother with an introduction of his own. He was far more concerned with ending this interaction. Something in him wanted to believe Shatter was not going to cause problems--but now it seemed he was drawing more Bloodclanners to their border. Then along came Orangepaw. Perhaps he should've chastised the girl for being too harsh in her words--in her body language. But could Bluemask honestly say he disagreed? He did not approve of confrontation done without tact, or without good reason. It was better not to let them get a rise out of you. There was a sharpness in his words, but not a readiness to fight. "Unless Shatter wishes to leave with you, I would suggest we all head back to our own camps."

//i'm pretty certain that when daylight said "he" he was referring to shatter <3

  • ❝ You can not imagine the immensity of the fuck I do not give. ❞

    OOC: Oof, I'm sorry.

IC: Agnimitra listened and watched and when there was a show of aggression, she came low to the ground. Her position was to show that she didn't want to or intend to fight, but it was not to be mistaken for complete submission. The firey she-tyro frowned slightly when she was told to go back to her own camp and nodded. "Fine." She turns and takes a few steps before looking back at the small crowd she'd gathered. "Tell Shatter I said hello if you see him around." She said. She had wanted to tell him so much, so much that she'd done that she was proud of and that she was sure he'd be proud of her for, but it didn't seem like that was going to happen this time. She then turned to continue walking, tail a little lower than usual, but head still held high and proud.
