Wilhelmina's weekly task had been to learn something new. There was a lot of merit to learning, you never stopped but obtaining knowledge proactively certainly slowed once you reached a certain age. Billie herself had settled quite happily into her niche of healing, and while she aspired to be the best healer she could be and sought to educate herself whenever possible, she never branched out of the subject much anymore. This raised the question as to what she should focus on. The grey-and-white fem could be seen outside of her cottage, settled on her porch as she fidgeted about with papers and a musky smelling substance -- The weed wasn't hers, and the joint wouldn't be either as she wouldn't indulge while pregnant, but she still figured with partaking being such a popular hobby, she might as well learn a thing or two herself. After quite a bit of fumbling about, she let out a disgruntled sigh and inquired to anyone who might have been passing by, "Can anyone teach me how to roll a joint? It's not for me -- I just thought I might as well. . . Learn."

BECAUSE THE TRUTH HURTS MORE THAN THE LIE
NO NO NO NO NO
That was really not what I was expecting. Roll a joint? I'd never learned how, and I likely never would to be fair. I had no interest either way. So the slight glitch in my step was made obvious when Wil spoke, for I'd almost tripped. I... Was she sure? I turned then, in the direction I'd heard the woman's voice come from. "Are... Are you sure you want to learn... that? You could do something else. I could tell you about my home." I spoke quietly, my voice significantly less rough now from when I'd joined. I still couldn't get over their request... ah, so shocking.

"Now, where does a fine lady like yourself acquire something like that?" he teases lightly as he approaches, though his eyes are full of curiosity. The idea of Wilhelmina rolling a joint, pregnant or otherwise, was quite odd to him and as far as he knew, no one in Wind Haven was currently growing weed. The borzoi came to a halt beside Loey, brushing lightly against the child as he did so. "I'm sure you don't actually want to try to smoke...right?"

Start Each Day With A Grateful Heart !
Juba - Male - 33 months - Havener, Prior - Wind Haven - tagsJuba was walking down when he suddenly stopped. Did he hear right? Wilhelmina wanted to learn how to roll a joint? He shook his head, thinking why would anyone need to learn that. With a sigh he turned and headed over. Of course, he did not know how to do that, nor was he planning on reading on how to do it. He did not support that sort of activity, of course others could do as they wished since he didn't have the control to do anything about it, but he could still speak his opinion.
Once he was with the small forming group he stopped and spoke. "I don't know if smoking a 'joint' is the smartest thing to be doing right now," he stated to her and the others, though they didn't seem like they were planning on partaking on rolling a 'joint' anyhow. "Honestly, I don't believe anyone here is growing it, you would have more luck in a place like the Cartel, where they sell everything," he stated to her. He was of course going to tell her where she could get it, but he would still willing state how stupid he thought it was. "You honestly should not try to smoke it though, it can lead to long term issues, and I don't think that is something you would enjoy."
Juba didn't know the extent of the issues but it was, at least to him, common sense it wasn't very healthy. Not for anyone to do, especially in an area where kits, cubs, pups, etc. could easily inhale the fumes and that was why everyone, well most, had their own cabins and with some sharing.

Whiskers twitch wryly as she looks up at the trio who approached her, a coy tinge to her grey and white mask. Olive eyes twinkle as she scans them - Loey, kindly, youthful, innocent; Eldoris, proper and poised; Juba, righteous and health conscious. "Ah, Loey, I'd love to learn about your home as well," she blinks to the blind youth with kindness to her gaze, gentleness to her tone. She wouldn't turn down such an offer, but she was intent on learning this trait. To the rest, her cheeky manner doesn't fade completely as she says simply, "The lot of you aren't going to fool me. I was there when Ninja was smoking -- Like a moth to a flame, everyone seemed to appear that night." Lemon with his own stash in hand, Tacoma eagerly asking for a puff. Nonexistent eyebrows are arched as she shrugs off the criticism, a slight scoff - with good nature, however - departing her maw, "I'm with children, I'm not going to light up -- I just want to know how it's done. The other night was my first time being around weed, I'm curious is all." Curious and with an addictive personality, a thirst that had been reawakened in recent weeks. A problem. Not one she would indulge now, but one that existed, burning brightly, troubling the queen. A doctor with a taste for painkillers, who hadn't heard the story? Not in moons, but it's there. She rolls her shoulders and smiles at Juba, easy-going and light, "You've nothing to worry about Juba, I won't partake in it right now. And I certainly won't be going to the Cartel -- I know I can find out what I'm looking for right here, at Mt. Kodiak."
